Guild Wars 2

Last year I got my Asus GTX 1080 OC and the 34 inch Acer Predator with a 100 refresh rate screen to play GW2 in all its glory at 3440 by 1440 and I could not see anything on the minimap, the skills bar and map chat. I was almost depressed that after a $2000.00 upgrade I could not play the game I loved with my new monitor and had to down scale to 1920 by 1080. I get the same performance at both resolutions. After over 4000 hours I actually stopped playing for about 8 months after this and just came back 4 months ago. This game is beautiful but only at 1920 by 1080. I hope Anet will prioritize this. This game deserves to be enjoyed with the current technology. I know some will repond about how this game is using older tech, but seriously if they want to make money they should adjust as did WOW and others that have older tech engines. Please implement. Please?

For the past few days in WVW I saw a Guild offer duels in their guild hall arena for a 10 gold “bet” and if you won best out of 3 you would get 50 gold. I blocked him.

I experienced it in the Upper Far top left waypoint In Auric Basin using a GTX 1080 asus oc with postprocessing on low or high. Off not affected by this issue. As you walk down from the waypoint goin SE you will experience what looks like the light from the trees shining down on the ground then blinking out sporadically. All other setting on highest. I normally don’t use post processing but tried it for some Auric Basin screen shots when I found this bug.

At 3440 by 1440 the UI at largest( as well as the minimap) is way too tiny to be feasible/ seen without binoculars. I know this has been talked about in the past but with no Dev response that I can remember seeing. How difficult would it be to add a larger size to the user interface? I love GW2 and am forced to downgrade my resolution to 1920 by 1080. Is Anet concerned over a possible PVP advantage of a larger screen, are they not concerned with their players’ monitor upgrades as time progresses, is it not possible to do, or have they just not gotten a chance to do this QUALITY OF LIFE issue?

This morning I logged in and all aspects of the game worked as normal. I came home after some errands and now can not access the Trading Post. I get an, " net::ERR_CONNECT_TIMED_OUT" message. I reset my cable modem and wireless router. Still no luck.

I had asked guildies and in map chat and even had my son log in on his pc on his account. Same issue. I deleted GW2 application and re-downloaded it. Still not TP for me.
