Guild Wars 2

There is a perpetual DE in Metrica Province near the wurm farm renown heart where you help by getting rid of oozes. The a giant ooze appears it apparently absorbs projectiles (I’m a ranger) and all the baby oozes come to help it. Is there some secret to beating it? I’m constantly dying, a lot of the time there seem to be very few players around to help when I am on. Should I be getting up close and personal with a sword on it? Or is this DE broken? Thanks for any tips

Oh can someone make a list of /action things you can do, I’ve seen people dancing etc and assume this is one of the ways, the communications box confuses me.

OMG! Tip number 6 wish I had known this sooner, nothing worse than having to turn down drops coz bag is full and your miles from anywhere. Must read all of these later when I’m not at work. Thanks so much for this, new to the game and MMOs so very handy.

What are trophy labelled items like cogs good for? currently my bag is filling up with them and there’s no collection section for them are they just to sell for money? You don’t seem to be able to salvage or craft with most of them? Also if I change servers will I still be able to play with friends on other servers? Obviously WvW would be an issue if on different teams but what about dungeons etc? Thanks for any answers

Hi everyone, GW2 is my first MMO and I’m really enjoying wandering around and discovering everything slowly and collecting lots of stuff and hitting lots of interest points and tasks. I’m currently a level 8 Asura Ranger.

I do have a limited time to play so am usually on a few evenings or in the weekend for a short while. (NZ time) I am looking to join a guild to help me out with discovering everything the game has to offer, probably more of a PvE player at the moment but I would like to give WvW a go once I get better.

Mid-30’s girl fan of all things geek, scifi, Magic the Gathering, Warhammer 40K, console gaming, anime. But also very active love my dogs and Iaido. Looking for a guild of nice and helpful players to hopefully challenge the more difficult tasks/enemies/dungeons the game has to offer. Decided to look for a guild before the started charging to shift servers I am currently on Northern Shiverpeaks.
