Not being able to kick offline party members, or whisper anyone from my friends list or guild roster in WvvW, etc.

Did you really make a thread to chest thump about “beating” Anet employees? They were probably trying to do a live feed video, or test content…congrats, you killed them….probably while they were multitasking…..

We are a semi-casual PVX, EST, NA Guild of approx. 120+ players on the Crystal Desert server. On a normal night during primetime, we have approx. 40+ guild members on. *Members must be over the age of 18 years old, as we are an adult guild.
*Members will not represent any guild other than Cynical, as we believe this takes away from the “community” feeling (personal gbank access excluded)
*Members must use Ventrilo voice chat during Guild Events or Groups (being able to talk is neccessary)
*Members agree to log on to the guild website at least once every other week to keep up to date with guild news and events. Members who do not log on after one month will be removed from Guild. We are looking for members who participate in the community, not lurkers!
*Members who are absent for more than a month with no post on our forums will be removed from guild, in order to keep the guild active
*Members must treat one another with respect and dignity, refrain from making racist or sexist remarks, and remember that when dealing with other guild members, real life takes precedence over game time.
*Above all else, we ask each guild member to have fun!!

I don’t want to completely ruin the surprise but you should hear something big from us in the coming weeks about this very topic.

Instead of SURPRISING your playerbase, why not start a discussion here in the forums and ASK your playerbase what content they would like to see added, or changes they would like to see made? Involve the community, gauge their responses, and tailor the content based on community feedback, instead of “surprising” us.

I don’t understand why we can’t have the same UI party options in WvW that we do in ANY PvE zone. Basic things in WvW like inviting people to a group, removing offline people and sending people a tell.

This far past launch and they haven’t even fixed stuff people noticed in BW1?

This pretty much sums up my frustration. Obviously the code exists, it’s nothing ground breaking..I just don’t understand why they can’t implent it in WvWvW?

Had the pleasure of running with DIS this past WvWvW Friday, great group of players and highly organized! If you are looking for large scale, orgaized WvWvW fun then look no further!

Sorry to hear that a couple of your larger WvW guilds recently left for BG. Hopefully FA will be able to recruit some new talent and remain competative in WvWvW! Who knows, you may be better off with them leaving!

+1 Could Arenanet give us an indication they are planning to implement some changes to the Guild Management system in the near future? It would make life much easier for all Guild Leader’s and Officers out there.

I’d like to invite you to check out Cynical, we are on Crystal Desert. We are a PVX, NA Guild of approx 135 players, and we dedicate nights to PVE and SPVP as well as WvWvW. The majority of our members enjoy doing dungeons and fractals, and there are usually groups running every day. On a normal night during primetime, we have approx 40+ guild members on. We are all working class adults, and we do not recruit members below the age of 18.

We regularly schedule Guild Dungeon/Map Completion events, as well as WvW Events and Spvp tournaments. We are a member of a 14 guild alliance, and we participate with these guilds for large scale WvW events on weekends. Our guild events are optional, and we do have signups available. Your level of participataion is completely up to you! We also run smaller guild skirmish/strike team groups throughout the week in WvWvW.

We have a number of players new to the game still leveling, as well as players who are leveling second/third characters, so there is also opportunity for you to group up for events/leveling.

Cynical has full guild buffs available, as well as a max size guild bank filled with equipment and consumables for alts/new players etc. We also have a large voice chat server (ventrilo), and an active website updated constantly. We have a strong community of players who are always willing to help eachother out, so hopefully you will consider Cynical as your new home!

So I was sitting in Lion’s arch when my queue popped to leave overflow. When i took it, I was disconnected, and got the following error code:

42:6:3:2060 Build 16541

When I try to reconect I get the same code. Are the login servers down? Anyone else having this issue?

Try googling to see if Blackgate has a community website, like other servers do. You may find it easier to find a guild by browing their guild section then these public forums where all guilds on all servers post.

Very cool idea! I really hope the dev’s give this a look over!
