The new armor will not progress the achievement.

As Raider and AP hunter I thank you for this. Because having that title would eventually serve as a KP for everything and 750LI.

On the other hand I wish for new achivements with Titles for WvW and PvP armor, Just to make them equal-

300 LI = 23,08 Weeks
2620 WvW-Tickets = 22,46 Weeks

I had never many spares of this not even during leveling years ago. I think the main reason people have this are miscalculations or missclicks. Those are usually sold on TP.. The TP market of this Items will die if people store and forget.

Pretty good, e.g. if you buy too much at Miyani.
But as Icy Runestone only have one Vendor as supply and are used very limited you won’t usually have any spares. Same goes for Bloodstone Shards

Pretty Good, but +1 Infusions will be full very fast

- Gemstones and Jewels
good

- Cooking Staples (new)
Same as Core Refinements

- Scribing Materials
Same as Core Refinements + Scribe is still very niche

So overall – 3 whole categories will be empty for a long time if not forever, rest is good

The worst thing (for me) was that they patched much earlier then normal on the last day. I wanted to farm the last remaining Heirlooms after work, but it wasn’t possible. I couldn’t even spend them.

A few years ago, I bought a printer. It meant that I didn’t have to go to copyshops anymore! Two years later I bought a new PC. Which didn’t have a printer port anymore.
Would you have expected a refund for that printer? It became useless even though it still worked perfectly.

Unless your Printer is Account Bound you can always sell it on Ebay. That’s what we can’t. Gem Shop Items that became useless, are unsellable und not recycleable.

Celestial already has more stats than any other combination. Raising it further could be gamebreaking for wvw.

As for refunds: if you’ve had these account-bound items for ages, we won’t be doing refunds because you’ve already derived substantial benefit. If, however, you bought them more recently, we’re doing refunds on a case-by-case basis.

Hello,
I have an easy solution for the refund problem:

Step 1:
Place a vendor of the BLTC in LA that gives you a number of a special Item for unwanted BLTC Items.
Let’s call this Item: Evon’s appreciation Token
#tokens = round down (Gem Cost / 100)
Every Item under 100 Gems Cost would be a 0
For a Copper Fed Salvage-o-matic You would get 8 Tokens
For a Watchwork Mining pick you would get 10 tokens

Step 2:
Set up Mystic Forge recipe’s that give us useful things for the tokens:
Item 1: Specific Item that will decide the Outcome
Item2: # of Evon’s appreciation Token
Item3: 10 Mystic Forge Stone
Item4: 10 Mystic Crystal

Examples:
Watchwork Mining Pick:
250 Watchwork Sprockets
10 Evon’s appreciation Token
10 Mystic Forge Stone
10 Mystic Crystal

Black Lion Salvage Kit:
1 Mystic Salvage Kit
1 Evon’s appreciation Token
10 Mystic Forge Stone
10 Mystic Crystal

Permanent Bank Access (Acc. Bound):
25 Bank Access Expresses
20 Evon’s appreciation Token
10 Mystic Forge Stone
10 Mystic Crystal


Pro:
- No one would be angy anymore
- No more tickets to work on (now and on further upgrades like “shared mining tools”)
- ppl would buy things to get tokens if you could get things that are not in the shop (e.g. Bank Access)
- small Material / Forgestone / Crystal Sink

Con:
- Takes a bit work to implement

I bought it, sure it was expensive, but well that is why I used my gold not money. Whats the point of gold if you don’t use it for convenience.

Its kinda annoying now that thous 5 slots are ruining my bag layout since I can’t have 10 slots per row since I prefer hide bag option..

I would like if anet gave us an option on hide bags while leaving the 5 acc bound slots above the actual bags, so I would have my 10 slots per row and 5 extra above all that.

But it doesnt matter how you order your inventory. If you have an Order, it most likely ruins it.
Having the shared bags on top while hiding the bags would be the best for any order System.

Well, that’s bad news for me. I have 11 Copper feds and bought 8 on the first day and at least 2 recently.
Let’s talk about the “benefit”. Sure, I had the benefit of those tools for a long time, but they were bought with the intention of having this benefit till I quit playing. But from now on there won’t be any benefit on 10/11 of this tools anymore.
Think of the rework of the commander Tag. People with more than 3 Tags got a refund, too even if they had the benefit of it before the change.

There is absolutely nothing to do with them anymore. They just occupy space, but I don’t delete them because they are worth 10€ each. i cannot even send them to guildies who would need them.

btw. I have all 3 tools on 11 characters, too. But I want to keep them because I want the convenience of not having to change them, when relogging.

Should I drink my 130 Thimbles and 5 Kegs before HOT or should I receive the boosters.
I have 14 Birthday Boosters 20 Celebration Boosters and 120 Enchanted Reward Boosts. I am just too lazy to use them.

You missed one nerf… Quick Breathing had something changed, no longer is the cool down on war horn 4 the same as the speed buff, so no longer can you perma speed yourself and party

This is because of Point 9.
I tested Rune of the Pack for this. You have Permaspeed again and additional Fury uptime for your party. Its is a nice alternative to standarts like melandru, hoelbrack, trooper.

Hammer-trains are still possible now but in a different way. The #5 skill of Rampage is a free hammer stun and it can be combined with the #3 rampage skill to increase its range.

Maybe, but Battle Standard is still the strongest elite for a WvW Warrior (in my opinion) so I wouldn’t want to switch it for just an aditional stun

Are we talking about the nerfs from June?

Warrior nerfs summarized

4. Stability
The stability nerf raised the pirateship meta. As a warrior you just don’t really want to range anything. Just give us more stacks in wvw-mode or even infinite stacks, so that only time counts like it was before(maybe only when you carry a melee weapon). Like it is now you can’t rely on stability, because it can be striped instantly. 10 Stacks are just nothing for wvw and you die instantly if you go in.

5. Battle Standard
Maybe a good nerf for the game because it was a pain that the lord was bannered all the time, but at least it gave us good long fights and the ability the gain time for your team. Just take into consideration that this was a warrior nerf, too.

6. Banner Nerf
Banner were never good in WvW maybe while defending something they can be thrown. But now with a 600 radius they are quite useless.
Suggestions how to make banners good for WvW
- Raise the radius up to 1200 again.
- Make a cooldown-reduce on the Trait
- let everyone be able to carry the Banners without loosing their skills. Noone is using the skills on banners much. Let the usefull skills acivate passive when they are ready (swiftness on all, fury on discipline, and healing on tactics). After picking up the Banner the banner could be carried between back and backpack. One Player should only be able carry one banner.

7. Hammerstun (Earthshaker)
Once the Hammerstun was really stunning. The first-inc was made by many warriors jumping with hammers into the enemy instead of casting at each other until you find a stone or tree to hide.
This is not possible anymore due to the stability-nerf and the adrenaline-nerf.
However… the dmg in these times was better, too. Nowadays the Hammerstun does about the same dmg as an auto-attack.
It is true that it cant be buffed carelessly, because in spvp and roaming it would be too strong. So here some suggestions how it could be done.
1. Make it a Shout. Why? Simply, it is just fun having a warrior shouting “Hammerstun” and doing so. You would be getting additional bonuses if traited.
2. Raise the dmg based on vitality and toughness like a sharpening stone. It would be not OP for Zerk-Roamers/PVP’ers but a normal WvW Warrior would get some extra dmg.
3. Give us 1s of Defy Pain, Balanced stance and the new Resistance boon. It would give us the chance to Hammerstun deep into the Enemy and come out alive.

I personally would prefer 2. but the others could be fun, too

8. Shouts
Damage got buffed (most for Mesmer, Ele, Necro) shout heal got nerfed and with this the sustain of the whole party. Plz nerf the dmg output or raise the shout healing. Again it could be adjusted in a way that it is not too strong for spvp and benefits wvw like binding it to vita or toughness. A base of 1500 should be given.

9 Boons
Traiting tactics wont give you 30% Boon duration anymore. It is an indirect nerf for all skills.
Add it (15%-20%) to any Trait in Defense or Discipline so that a normal PVE-Phalanx Warrior doesn’t gain anything from it (would be too OP)

I have summarized all Warrior related nerfs, gave my toughs to it and made an advice how to fix it. This is all only about WvW. Not about PVE, Roaming or PVP but I have taken it always into consideration as far as I know. Correct me if I am wrong with something of if you have even better ideas how to approach the problem.

1. Adrenaline Nerf
The adrenaline nerf was only minor, because you just loose your initial strike. On the other hand it makes skills like “Berserker Stance” and “To the Limit” pretty much useless for pumping adrenaline. You get enough adrenaline while in battle so you don’t really need them infight for pumping adrenaline and using it in preparation for battle while outfight is like wasting it. “To the Limit” can maybe used in PVE to get the 20%-bonus ASAP.
But why nerfing it? You want it more behave like what it is called (Adrenaline)? Then just rename it. If an initial Strike with F? is not wanted, why can other classes like Necro/Engi keep theirs. Their F-Abilities are even much stronger. If nerfing anything make it equal. The necro could loose the life force outfight, too and the Engi could loose the F-Abilities until he used the corresponding 789-abilities (like loading the tool belt)
A solution for the warrior may be to bind adrenaline to time and not to the infight-outfight mechanics. Make the Warrior loose the Adrenaline he gained 30-60s before. With this he can pump himself up and has 30-60s to strike. Infight there will be no difference because you are constantly overwriting the older adrenaline with newer adrenaline.

2. Healing Signet
The healing signet was not only slightly nerfed on 23. June… it was nerfed about a year before, too. So it was actually nerfed twice. Healing Signet is still very strong. If you just raise the value it maybe would be too strong for spvp or roaming. My suggestion would be to nerf it even more at the base, but let it scale not only with healing power but with toughness and vitality. So it is weaker on offensive builds and stronger on defensive builds.
The alternative healing skills on warrior are just not good as they are now:
“Mending” is just too weak Maybe some party-things should be added like giving additional regeneration to the party and give the condition remove as well to the party or even make it convert them to boons for the party.
“To the Limit” has lower heal than the Signet even with shouts skilled. Maybe good for PVE to gain the 20%-bonus ASAP
“Defiant Stance” is just wrong. I would give anyone the advice not to use it. You have to stand at the wrong place to get the maximum healing out of it. You get nothing when “Defy Pain” triggers at 25% life. It teaches you to be not sticky with your leader and eating the dmg. And you risk getting killed by soft cc and conditions while standing wrong. In my option it is a troll-skill. Strong but unreliable.

3. Horn
Horn was good on 10 ppl. Why nerfing it down to 5? It was a nice unique thing to warrior horn… Not converting anymore? Why? Both things were never OP infight, but a quality of life thing while moving around. Swiftness for the whole team with only a few warriors was a thing noone was mad about. Horn now is still good but the “Charge”-nerf, together with stability nerf makes Melee fights almost impossible.

Can you give the Boost Enchantment Researcher in LA the option to change a Birthday Booster to 24 Celebration Boosters.

Birthday Boosters are really hard to use because you get 24h in one go and you don’t want to waste to much of it chating in LA or doing other unproductive things. After unsing the birthday booster you can’t play the character anymore until you find something to do that is worthy to spend your rest time on it.

Having 24 Celebration Boosters instead would be much easier to use.

Are you saying you keep your Bank Access Express in your Bank, but you don’t use it because you can’t access your Bank from everywhere?

lol, yes It is a bit stupid to keep them there. But to split them equal between 12 characters would be a headache, too.

I have (like many other people) a lot of trash in my banktabs i want to get rid of. I am not talking about things that I keep for my personal fun (like Scarlets Diary), but about things that have use and value.
I would like to give some ideas what to do with it:

Things for the Wallet (Page 2?)
- Geodes … It is currently an active currency
- Bandit Crests … It is currently an active currency
- Pristine Fractal Relics … It is currently an active currency
- Baubles … It is currently an inactive currency
- Bauble Bubble … It is currently an inactive currency
- Dragonite Ore … Too big in numbers for storage, not tradeable
- Pile of Bloodstone Dust … Too big in numbers for storage, not tradeable
- Empyreal Fragment … Too big in numbers for storage, not tradeable
- Obsidian Shards … Too big in numbers for storage, not tradeable

Things for the Material Storage
- Blade Shards … It is crafting material. More common than “Charged Quartz” or “Watchwork Mechanism” that have a spot in the material storage
- Siege & Traps for WvW … Maybe a new Category

Things you have to implement (somehow) Accountwide
- Bank Access Express
- Merchant Express
- Instant Repair Canisters
- Revive Orbs
- Trading Post Expresses
- Several different Boosts
I keep them in my Banktab and never use them… Perhaps I would, if I had access to them from everywhere.

I am sure a lot of suggestions have already been made here in the forum, but I can’t find them. What do you think about this matter?

Hello, one solution to the population problem would probably be how the points work.

If it would be “Points per Hour played” the Matchwinner wouldn’t be a matter of population anymore. And if you would win a match not just by points, but by points per hour i am sure a lot of people would switch the server, because they can win by playing good.
See Attached pic for an example.

You just have to record all hours played on a Server in the Week.
For a Server with 100 People that play 24/7 that would be 16800 hours
For a Server with 45 People that play 24/7 that would be 7560 hours

Record all hours and calculate the the % of coverage.
Then do: Weighted Points = Actual Points / Coverage[%]

This wouuld lead the good wvw-players to a matchup-win and the 1,1,1 pressing Zerg Karma trainers to a loss.

Perhaps this Idea need some finetuning, but it it surely a good startingpoint for a brainstorming.

I’m a bad player, I don’t want to dodge and I don’t like following meta, so I run full Cleric Necromancer with completely random trait placement.
I deserve everything as much as the ones doing harder content. If I would to get sub par rewards I’d complain and ask for nerfs.

The best solution would be to make the armor salvageable but with special conditions for wvw/karma stuff:
They should limit the amount of ectoplasm globs to max. 1 or even 0
They should make the salvaged runes/sigills accountbound

There would be no profit, but you can rescue part of the stuff you already own.

Never attacked them myself, so I don’t know. But during the fight some of them were killed, so it should be possible.
If you don’t have any ranged attack it is the same as having no stability at skyhammer-map. (not prepared).
I think it should be Ok, because if not the trait would be rather useless

btw. turrenting has a few disadvantiges.
- you are verre immobile (I have to stay on point)..
- long cooldowns
- they explode themselves after about 5 min
- you have to stay alive a while (zerker)

The trait I am using is “Tools V”. I am thowing them to walls or trees. If that is a Bug Anet should fix it.

Unfortunatly I have this on 2 characters (8 pieces in total on wvw equip). I don’t have the Gold/Laurels/Materials for 8 pieces to make it ascended.
For the trick with the blue… that should work. I would just waste about 25 Gold for tansmutation Stones + the Price for new Armor so that the characters are useable until I can upgrade the Items.

Other solutions are welcome

Hello,
normally if I wanted to upgrade my wvw armor to ascended I used a transmutation stone. I choosed: wvw-skin + old rune + ascended stats

If I understood it right I can now put the wvw skin directly on the ascended armor but the rune remains on the old armor.
Thats quite unfortunate, because you can’t salvage wvw armors and the extractor is even more expensive then any rune.

Even without having a wvw armor I would have to waste a Black Lion Salvage Kit charge, but I wouldn’t grief over this.
So the easiest way would be to make the wvw armor salvageable.

What should I do?

Buffs are lost upon map change, therefore it does makes sense that it occurs.

I know, buffs like bloodlust or applied fortitude are lost by mapchange, because you could create an unfair advantage, but not with this Item.
Bufffood or boosters are not affected by it.

And nothing else is lost by using plague

The Selfless Potion is always gone… I always have to reactivate it
It vanishes:
1 – by changing map
2 – by joining wvw
3 – by using Plague (Necro)
4 – by using Guild Banner Potion
5 – by using Quaggan Potions

3-5 makes Sense that this things can’t have a halo, but after changing back it should be there aggain.
1-2 doesn’t make any sense…

Please make it permanent(not affected by things like 1-5) and let it last for 24h (deactivation by clicking aggain), then its worth the gold and time.

Hello,
the rewardsystem is really awful!
people are currently running away from servers with only “High” population to winning servers. Giving these winning team joiners a better reward seems for me counterproductive.
You should give a reward for things done in the real wvw (eotm should not count). This would lead people back to the “High/Middle” Servers.

+5 infusion means = 16* +1 infusion
You have to do just 4 runs on lvl 10 to get it.

You needed till now to infuse:
1 Gift of Ascension = 500 Tokens
Thats ~8 runs on lvl 10 (with daily chest)

Thats twice the effort

+250Ectos

You should consider ether give +(8 to 10) for already infused backs.
or give the tokens and ectos back and let the slot empty.
