Unsure if it’s already been reported, but there’s issues with the “Crusader’s Pack” Collection’s item dropping from the Heart of Thorn’s story missions via the end mission rewards. I’ve received the mission reward item “Resilient Vigil Belt” from chapter 7, but I haven’t received the “Golden Vigil Buckle” or the “Waterproof Vigil Padding” from chapters 10 and 13, respectively. I have yet to complete chapter 16 “Hearts and Minds” to see if the final reward item drops or not.

The character I’ve completed them on is, in fact, a member of the Vigil. And the missions have been completed on said character. Unfortunately recompleting the missions on the same character did not grant the items. I haven’t tried it on another character yet, but I’d prefer not having to do the missions over again if I can help it, due to the fact I should have received the rewards previously.

(I’ll update after I complete chapter 16 on the character to verify if I did or did not receive the collection item.)

**Update: It showed up on the rewards screen but did not count the “Dragonvine Vigil Strap” as being obtained in the collection. This is the same thing that happened with chapters 10 as well as 13’s items.

**Update 2: I forgot to mention that I picked the “Recruit Pack” initially as well.

**Update 3: Apparently it’s a character specific bug. I just went through on another character that selected the “Recruit Pack” initially and it is giving the collection rewards on it, upon chapter completion.

Well, it’s been fixed on my end from the looks of it. Any comment on what happened ANet? I’m curious to know what was going on that caused this to happen.

Hey, so my internet is fine, I’m able to browse and stream video and what not. I decide I’m bored watching Hulu so I’d play some GW2. Unfortunately the launcher doesn’t do it’s initial connection to check if there’s updates and I can’t even get past it. Any idea on why this is happening? I played yesterday and everything was fine. Is there an issue on ANet’s end for their authentication processes? I don’t think it’d be anything on my end since It’s literally been 24hours since I was last on and nothing has changed on my PC since then.

Really like the Royal Guard Outfit but i noticed a clipping issue i guess. When i use the outfit with the Selfless potion the Halo appears through my forehead…kinda looks like a tiara now or a really bad accident O_o

There’s some issues with nameplates and what not. Most noticeable on Charr. It’s lowered the display to be lower than they should be. (i.e. ground level instead of above the charr) Asura must have a similar issue.

3rd year veteran, bought the game long before launch and participated in every beta and the headstart. Still nothing. While I know people who have had the game less than a year who have theirs already. I’d say your theory is incorrect. Oh and that I am irritated by the disrespect of this system not just mailing us all at once like would make sense. Also Krazyk, I think you will still receive your oufit.

Also, clearly my account starts with a D, so no “D’s” didn’t get anything.

My email and my account name both start with C’s. If D’s have been getting them, not sure what’s going on because I’m in the same boat as Dinks and haven’t gotten anything.

Nope, players with less account time than I have have gotten it before me. It’s going alphabetically down the username list. I’ve been playing since closed beta and still haven’t gotten mine. On top of that I’m in the C’s which they have so many of those gold farm/seller accounts still on the list that it’s taking a long time for the system to auto send the outfits.

You’ll get yours in due time. See reply above for how the system is sending the outfits. It’s for every pre-existing account prior to f2p’s release.

In all honesty I do find myself a little let down by this. There was so much up talking about veteran player appreciation and you make the game free to play with huge restrictions, and I’m sitting here feeling a little let down by the consolation we get for spending $60 on the game. Even the people that just bought the game a couple days ago are getting a “too bad” kinda vibe from the outfit. Maybe if we got a choice of the 3 original armor set skins (Krytan, Primevil, and Profane) and got this one as well kinda deal would make it seem a little nicer.

I’m actually kinda thinking they have a lot of “I want a refunds.” coming in from people who just bought the core game and then found they liked it so they bought the HoT expansion. ANet just caused a lot of player base issues with this free to play announcement.

Just curious. I’ve been playing back and forth between GW1 and GW2 lately. I’ve merged both accounts since the system was established, and I’ve been trying to earn more points. Recently I just gained another point, and went to the hall after the points were sync’d to GW2. I ventured deep into the Hall of Monuments, hope high, anticipation nearly unbearable! I hopped onto the lilypad along side the vendor of my past heroics. I eventually asked what goods have transcended time itself, to bless me with their power and protection. Then, he opens his mouth. I expect to hear a list of these awesome and powerful items. Suddenly, his voice rings out.

“That content has been temporarily disabled. Please try again later.”

And my hopes were shattered. My world came crashing down into a pile of nothing but despair.

Is there no hero able to help me? Save me from this dispair, please!

I logged in to find the same error. Except when I initially logged in, I was repping my personal guild, but seeing guild chat from a different guild I was in but not repping. I then relogged only to find no matter what guild I rep, the “You are not in a guild.” message appears in my chatbox.

It worked fine up until the most recent patch. Please let us know what’s going on or when to expect a fix ANet. I tried going invisible but it didn’t fix the issue. I relogged again and it is now back to working, though there’s no telling for how long.

It’s hard to believe I know. Ultimately it doesn’t matter if you don’t maintain as long as you have the highest PPT at the end of the point update. And plus, keeping the enemies at their spawn is more likely to make them give up. That’s what GoM did to us a while back and we didn’t try. If the enemy gives up because they don’t have anything to do well then WvW becomes boring for even the people holding everything.

I won’t go Pewpew or Lukian. I’m a PPT person not a holding and maintaining by camping. Once the towers and keeps were fully forted I was going to allow DH and DR to take back camps for their PPTs and then just stay out of their borderlands until this week’s matchup ends. I’m looking to make it so we can win but fairly and allow the other servers to have fun as well.
