If you don’t mind doing farming runs for mats to sell, here’s a list of waypoints I use. If you use something like this and you have a personal guild you can put it in the guild messages and it will put the list and the waypoints into chat when you rep the guild. As I understand it, you can get a personal guild with a message panel to use for one gold even if you don’t have the storage capability.

I just returned to gw2 and was off for 4 months, and I need gold for ascended and etc… I was wondering what would be the best place to farm these days? Sliverwastes or one of the new maps? I did Ab a while back but that is gonna get patched, and do not want to use it anymore cause of it being a exploit.
Fianlly elemental bastion was fixed which is good. Cause thats what my build needs to even been a support. Can someone go into depth why the nerfs were so bad, please. I do know it a little bit, and saw the patch notes, but the whole lava font, well its 2 seconds, off rotation but hey for someone else it can kitten it up. I understand a lot, but I want a clear view so, I can understand hey this was really bad. Like I saw the pyromancerstuff and all that, but I kind of dont get how it could impact like pve or something, wvw I know, but not pvp or pve.

Changing to around 9pm, could be a bit easier or 8 pm for eastern, then for Pacific time it would be either 6 pm or 5 pm. This works well for both. People probably get out at work around 4pm to 5 pm, so if they get home, they can play at a more reasonable time for Pacific. For Eastern now if it was 9pm or 8pm this could be better because, It is not as late, I can put a hour in before bed which is great, and it simply is better.
Ok chill, This is a learning process, and it will be a good couple of weeks to a month till we can find a good balance, So let’s all observe it, and see what happens this week.
At first the queues might be nuts, cause everyone super excited. Now I understand the tier 1 to tier 2 the queues might be super full a lot, so that is something that could be fixed. Im in a tier 3, and for once I see people in wvw. Lawd this was rare, maybe a zerg once during prime time. Now if they take this away, this gonna just drive me away, and probs wont take it away. We just need to test and do a lot of work before this is perfect, so before giving a rash quick opinion, wait, give feeedback, and I say again this is a kitten process!
I have been a player in North America for a while, and I have switched between EU and Na. I have lost a lot of interest in wvw for NA. Been on a lot of different servers here, and I have been in different guilds. So I have not had a lot of fun in NA for wvw wise. When I was on Eu I had a great time, and I found that the guilds for wvw were more to my liking. For me it is very important to be in a guild that is close and tight nit which is welcoming. I am looking for a guild which would be hardcore for wvw, casual can be okay to. I can pay for my transfer, so that is not something to be worried about. Also it be good if it can be on a tier 3 or tier 4 server, (Open to others if needed). I am also in North American eastern timezone, so that can be hard with times, but I am up at weird hours etc… So that is not a problem.
Also preferred to be messaged in game by mail, or whisper if I am on.
I am looking for a WvW guild on (NA), I am currently on NSP, I have not found a guild here I love. I am looking for a small WvW guild which is under 30 people.(willing to go up to 50 if I have to) I just rather be in small guilds then big ones because people are more closer. Anyways I also like it to be hardcore because I find guilds who are casual in WvW for me at least really never get anywhere. (but not to the point where it’s not enjoyable) I am willing to transfer if have to but it will take a couple of days to get the money. If I do have to transfer then I want a guild that has a server where it is not dead and has good fights.

I am looking for a guild in EU that is a small role-playing guild that is about under 30 people or 20. That is a small little community which would be very nice.
I have been wanting to role-play a lot more lately and I think if I were to do in a small role-playing guild it would make the game a lot more enjoyable for me.
I am new to role-playing but I do understand the basics if a group could take me in, and teach me, that would be great. I am also in a other wvw guild that I do rep a lot but it is very small so, I can rep others without any big issues. (if anyone is curious about that).
My server is Dzagonur [DE] and I am on North American time and that is Eastern.
It resets at 12:01am UTC Sunday, like you posted. The comparison to guild missions was simply that they reset at a fixed time for everyone, not that they reset at the same time as the gold limit. (Although they might do, I don’t know.)
Basically the way it works is you can send a fixed amount of gold each week, and it doesn’t matter when you send it within that week.
If you send someone 500g at 11:00pm UTC you’ll be able to send another 500g an hour later, as soon as the reset happens. Then you won’t be able to send any for a week, until the next reset.
So like I said it resets at this time, and I did the conversion and it was 7pm eastern on Saturday because I am 5 hours behind UTC. Which means I should be able to get my gold out of my guild bank but I can not because it says I have maxed the limit per week.
Here is my problem I am getting confused about the gold limit reset/
For the purposes of this limit, a week begins at 12:01 AM UTC each Sunday (5:01 PM PDT/4:01 PM PST Saturday).
I know about this and I went through it and did the conversion and it resets 7 pm my time in eastern on Saturday. I sent out about 500 gold for guild stuff on Friday so does this mean it will reset on that Saturday or do I have to wait till next week to send or receive any gold? I do not know I am confused I need someone to tell me if I am correct or not.
Or do you have to wait 7 days to get to send gold out again?

I am looking for a small guild that does mostly PvE content and PvP or WvW. Does not matter for me. I would love to Raid and do fractels with a group of people. Repping is also not a problem for me. I Just wanna be in a small guild full of people who care each other a lot, so just a small community.
I got some Social Anxiety problems and It seems I can not handle guilds of 30 or more. This is a reason why I am looking for a smaller guild
Anyways I am on Dragonbrand and I am willing to switch my server if I have to. I have experience of all of the game types.
For the raiding or fractels:
I got a ranger in full ascended which uses Druid(full healing power), and I got a Mesmer in Ascended(runs full berserker) . Next I am getting my guardian in ascended to.( mostly will be knight’s or soldier.)
I got enough agony that I can play up to fractal 30.
These are my main classes I play and I have played them for about 7 months so I do understand them enough without any problems.
If we have 40 challenges in the jungle that would make 400 points so It wont take as long and if it just like regular challenges like in Tyria then there really is no problem here.
Hate repeating myself, but to state again. The 40 hero challenges are spread across the three new maps. The maps are huge! so saying it “won’t take long” is like saying taking a new character and get map competition and 40 hero points in the core game “won’t take that long”. Prob 30-40 hours of play. Another negative is that a lot of players will focus on getting all the new hero challenges and ignore the new world events. You’ll probably see guild teams focused on finding hero points instead of playing through the story and event content int he game. This will probably go on for the first few weeks. Along the way guild teams/parties will find their guild hall and focus on taking it at this point the progression of the story becomes a side note or perhaps even meaningless because the new focus is guild hall defense/building up and elite spec hero point challenges. Kind of game busting.

It’s 400 points total to unlock everything in an elite spec training line – I just can’t remember off hand how many points folks have currently if they have done all the existing ones, but it’s right around 200. The rest you’ll need to earn in jungle to unlock the deeper skills/traits/etc. in the training line.
You only need 60 hero points to begin using your elite spec, the points you spend after that continue to unlock more skills, traits, skins, etc.
Again, hero challenges are worth 10 points each in the jungle. So no you don’t need to go do 200-400 jungle challenges.
Okay Collin literally said hero challenges are worth 10 points each in the jungle. so we need to do 10 challenges per 100 and that means 40 challenges for the 400. So stop freaking out this is not as bad as it seems. If we do not have a lot of challenges in the jungle and I highly doubt it then it is something to freak over. But right at the moment I do not find this to be a grind and it is not even that bad.
It is bad when people first stepping into the Jungle feel like they need to skip events and content and chase down hero points, or use a guide to find them all, so they can start HoT off with a full Elite spec traitline. That’s horrible. Especially when they go to play an alt and think “aww man I’ve gotta go running through the forest ignoring everything around me, collecting hero points, if I want to play with my Elite spec.”
Or worst of all “I really want to take my Engi to this daily fractal as a Scrapper but I’d have to go bouncing through the jungle grinding hero points just to unlock all the options. Why bother?”
This is how alts get shelved and stay shelved.

I forgot to mention that yeah waiting would be a very good idea cause we kind of do not know yet. I just had gear lying around so that is what I’m gonna use.
Hey! I am maining druid when it comes out so I got my gear ready. What I got is Magi’s and Clerics. magi’s brings in some vitality for me and I love that. I also use cleric’s cause it’s got healing power but also power. So I got a little bit of dps.
Clerics: Power,Toughness, Healing Power,
Magi’s : Precision, Vitality, Healing power.
Celestial druid maybe another good option or cleric’s with zerker. it totally depends on your play-style to. So you need to see what works and what does not for you. But this what I run so. So you may wanna start with cleric’s and some zerker a lot of people have suggested this. But you can just do cleric’s with magi’s.
So does anyone know how many hero points I will need for the elite specs? I got like 7 80s and I need to run through world map a bunch of times are they gonna make it like this? Which is a huge pain in the butt and yes you may think I am complaining but I do not do Pve so yeah.
Maybe since its a track the hero points will be inside it but I do not know. What are your thoughts?
Hey KittyKitty.9234 I am one a Lady officer in my guild and we are about 27 people. The guild name is Arc Espada. We are small but we are looking for people who are very active and are willing to be a good guild member. I do not wanna sound like some other boring person. But we are planing on doing raiding, Our server is dragonbrand and we do all sorts of things but it will mostly be raiding when hot drops. Anyways we just good people in our guild and a lot of us came from pretty bad guilds and we wanna make a home where everyone is actually loved instead of feeling like some number.
We are not a strict guild and most of are weird but kind and we trying to get teamspeak but mostly it will probably just be raidcall for now and I hope that is okay.
The guild is mostly NA and Australia so it can be weird times but we are very active on weekends. Guild missions will be happening soon we get about 10 online on the weekend. So if you wanna join our guild or just tag along for a bit and see if you may fit in.

Firstly I was in the same situation as you are and we never got past 40% Honestly I think the boss is just hard because you need at least 4 people in the lightening and this was happening I noticed people did not get there in time and that’s cause I think you got to be fast about it.
Secondly I played and I think I saw most of the red circles some were not as visible though. The teleporting thing is kind of annoying but overall it makes it harder and I enjoy that. These are just my thoughts on it.
I do not like how they changed it this time. I do agree it does feel like more a grind last BW2 was a lot of fun and so was BW1 but now since they nerfed it I havent enjoyed it. I have gone more brain dead today doing it which sucks.
I am looking for guild that is a small group of like 10 players active and not like 400 people. I just wanna be a part of guild that does things like fractels,dungeons and world bosses and all that. Server does not matter for me as long as it is on NA. I just wanna be in a guild that is a nice place to be and no drama.
Hello Everyone, [DRAG] Is a new guild and is welcoming anyone from any server. I prefer to have members on Northern Shiverpeaks. [DRAG] will always be a small bunch of people instead of having a big number of people. Raidcall is required till teamspeak gets set up.
What Is going on at the moment
I am very new to being a guild leader but I plan on being my best. Right at the moment the guild is mostly PvE and some PvP. For WvW it depends if we got members on NSP if there is none then it will be a PvE guild. Next is the number of people I want in this guild and that is at least 5-10 people who are very active or who are on a couple of hours a day. If we get to 10 people then I will start guild missions and I will have boosts active most of the time. The number of players in the guild is 3 at the moment. I plan on getting Teamspeak but at the moment I use raidcall.

Fractels
World Bosses
PvP matches
Or farming in the Sliverwastes.
Maybe Guild Missions if we get the amount of people needed for it.

Okay I haven’t had the best of luck of being in guilds and I am female and I want to find a female guild. Like there has to be one out there. I am not looking for a guild where men are pretending to be females. I just wanna be able to be in a good guild where I can enjoy myself.
For the last couple of days I have been facing this weird bug when I leave a party like click on the thing. My game will have a report pop up and then crashes.This also happens when I try to invite members to my party it just crashes. Is anyone else having this problem?
