Did this ever get sorted?

I’ve been in and out of the zone periodically, but the event is never on.

I have had a toon from my second account camped there on my laptop for two days now and no sign of the event

Can you either fix the event or award me the bracelet? the legendaries are supposed to be fun yet hard not annoying and impossible

Cheers

We Are Mighty [WAM] recruiting

We Are Mighty [WAM] is a new, casual, guild with view to expanding our ranks.

The guild currently has an international flavour with Irish, English, Finnish, German and Portugese players. English is the main language as it’s the only common one.

The guild was formed by active players in inactive guilds wanting to start a guild which is a bit more active, without being hardcore.

We have people on Aurora Glade, Gandra and Desolation, which limits WvW, but we are hoping that once we expand the ranks, we can have a presence across servers. Other than that, we focus primarily on PVE, with HoT and fractals being a common hangout.

We are happy to teach new players as much as we know and are also willing to learn new approaches to the game. We have also started dabble in PVP and have a very good guildie who is willing to develop this area.

We have a variety of experience in the guild with dungeons, guild missions, fractals and we are also hoping to start experimenting with raids and are about to go for our Guild Hall.

We currently use Teamspeak for chatting about the current mission, the weather and really bad jokes. We also have a basic website, facebook page etc etc

We arent looking to be one of the 500 member guilds, although that would be nice, but more hoping to have 50-100 members who play together, can be chatty and become friends.

Guild repping isn’t enforced, but would be during during guild activities. And the more people repping, the more we can buy for the Hall.

If you are interested, drop a note to any of the following: Greedy Git, Rzhaman, or Norn Xena

Cheers

We would players over 18 just in case an inadvertant dirty dirty word slips during a crazy battle…

If one of the support team feel like contacting me to say this has been sorted and is no longer a problem, I would welcome that

Right. This has now gotten to the point I cant even submit a bug report.

I usually have 2 clients running, a pc and a laptop. I randomly get the seriously annoying 7:11:3:191:101 error. Usually on the pc and now and again on the laptop but never at the same time.

In the past I submitted a bug report every time it happened thinking if I annoyed the support folks as much as I was getting annoyed, they might bump it upstairs.

Now I cant even submit a bug report. I log on, immediately open a bug report, get 7:11:3:191:101 typed and it disconnects before I can submit and tells me I have a 7:11:3:191:101

There is no commonality to the disconnects. They can happen in any zone, at any time. Usually, annoyingly, just as the World Boss dies so I get to lose the loot.

Despite having sunk near £500 into the game over three accounts and gem purchases, I am thinking its time to go find a different game. If this is the case, I can guarantee it wont be an ArenaNet game.

All the usual fixes have been attempted, rebooting router, etc. I even defragged the dat file (which helped for a while). I am not doing that to often or it will reduce the life of the SSD.

Only Guild Wars 2 is affected. Whilst I am getting the disconnects on the pc, the laptop is fine, as is my iPad, so I have to assume the hardware and the quality of my internet is fine.

I guess it will be put down to packet loss, my hardware blamed, and nothing done.

A shame, as the support people usually do such an exemplary job.

I have started getting this error to the point of not being able to play.
I have submitted umpteen in-game “report a bug”, but i feel that trying to high jump into orbit would be more beneficial.

The error only crept in with the release of Entanglemet Episode 1

Oh aye, and I had to find this thread via Google. Almost as if they are not only ignoring it, but hiding the issue

Right, has this ever been sorted?

I just started getting this. No changes to pc or network, no updates (other than game updates) and all of a sudden I am getting this.

Obviously in-game support calls make no difference.

It’s gotten to the stage that I submit a support ticket, get about 10 seconds of the screen freezing, then the game bombs. I log back in and submit a ticket, get about 10 seconds of the screen freezing then the game bombs. Rinse and repeat to your hearts content.

It only affects Guild Wars 2, and it’s only been since the Entanglement Episode 1 was released.

And as an aside, I had to find this thread via Google. Typing 7:11:3:191:101 in the search box gives no results.

Jordo, I have 12 alts, all at level 80 :-)

Boysenberry, I would agree that achievement points really don’t mean anything but that big 8,000 AP chest is winking at me and calling out to me like a little temptress.

All I can say is, SAB was a bad time to stop smoking :-)

I’ll go back to the jumping once I am over the grumpy-wanna-put-fist-though-screen stage

Still think it has too much jumping…..

And with a hop, skip and a JUMP, Cheeky is away kill dead things

Is it just my perception or has GW2 changed into a jumping game?

Lets get it out there so folks can get the flaming out of the way: I don’t like jumping. I can do, but I don’t like it.

I am running around at the minute trying to complete some “nearly complete” achievements and it just seems to involve jumping at every turn.

Anyway: SAB. Jump Jump Jump. Do it or lose out on the achievements. Got 8 achievements and got bored of jumping.

Anyway, Dive Master. oh look. Some of the goggles are at the end of jumping puzzles. Not So Secret Jumping Puzzle, 2 dives in Hidden Garden jumping puzzle. Do it or lose out on the achievements.

Well, I say stuff it. I spent ages trying to get the past Not So Secret and gave up. Kept failing at the same spot. And it wasn’t just me, 5 other players had the same difficulty. The only thing that made it slightly tolerable was the Level 10 thief trying it. If anything broke wind in his direction, he died.

Explorer achievements: Jumping litters the achievements

Now, I know folks enjoy the jumping, but for those that don’t like it (and there are a LOT). being forced to do it or miss out just annoys. It feels like I am playing Prince of Persia half the time. And repeating the same frustration dozens of times isn’t what I would call fun.

So, If anyone knows a game that would be like Scarlets invasions all the time, gimme a shout. Leaving GW after 7 years is figuring more and more in my thinking.

Maybe my perception is skewed because pretty much everything left on my achievements panel is jumping but its sucks.

This wasn’t supposed to be a ranty post. Just an observation. And a recommendation to Anet to take on board that some players simply don’t like jumping, so don’t force content on them.

And for those that can’t help themselves from flaming….I care not :-)

OP, the very least you should have is 20% not 4%, because you were sent consumables via in game mail to bring up up to 20%. This more than compensates for those specific stats.

As time goes on, and you do dailies and salvage blues and greens it’ll go much higher. It’s a small investment for a realtively short time, unless you don’t play at all.

Hate to call you out personally, but I am sick of seeing this on the forums.

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was given enough essence of luck to get them around 20% extra account bound MF to start.

How in any way, shape, or form is this compensation for me losing my MF gear? The guy standing next to me in LA who didn’t lose anything because he didn’t use MF gear got the exact same bonus.

This 20% MF boost to start is NOT a compensation to people who have lost anything due to the MF changes. It was a gift to all the player base.

People who had MF gear were given NO form of compensation whatsoever.

I have to admit, I am annoyed at this “compensation”. My ranger had 204% MF through gear, gear crafted specially and at cost for MF, and got 20% in return.

As soon as they mentioned Fine salvage would give essence of luck, I bought as many Fine weps and armour as I could. Even without paying any more than fifty pennies per item, I had thousands to salvage. And got 84%. Oh, I also got RSI.

On a brighter note, MF didn’t seem to make much difference to drops before the change and doesn’t seem to have made any difference after. I still get cursedly rubbish drops. 2069 hours of gameplay and I have had 2 Exotics drop.

Ah, the good old days of GW1 when an event WAS an event. Couple of times a year you got a special event, Halloween, Christmas etc and it was great. Then they started throwing events out every weekend but not big stuff. More things like Double xxxx this weekend and such.

Whilst the GW2 fortnightly events are great, they are coming too fast and ending too quickly. I have given up on completing any of these and gaining the achievement reward and dip in and out of the content as it pleases me.

But all complaining aside, Scarlet and her minions were brilliant. The zergs, the loot, the endless killing….bliss

I love "Forced Content".

I wouldn’t even care about this meta achievement if it wasn’t a permanent quartz node. It’s annoying too, because it seems that about half of 16 achievements I’ll need will require going to those obscure jumping puzzles, since Belcher’s Bluff and Sanctum Sprint are not fun to do. .

What she said :-)

I typed a rant but decided Nilkemia covered my point nicely.

Good thread. Too much time being wasted on silly jumping puzzles that seem to need pinpoint accuracy when there are nasty monsters infesting the land begging to be killed

If anybody from Anet is actually reading this with any interest or intentions of taking feedback on-board, remember that a lot of your players like PVE. Just PVE. Not PvP, WvW or Jumping

Anyway, off to kill some Trolls or maybe treat myself to an Imp Lord
