I got dessertion after I dc’d halfway through a game, even though I managed to rejoin the match in time, and managed to participate in winning the match.
My 0/30/0/30/10 fresh air D/D build will be mostly untouched. A few nice improvements are the I-frames on fire dagger 3. So often I find myself charging in to do ZOMGDMG only to find that I have been oneshot before I got there. This should certainly improve the situation.
My gear was only mostly berserker with a couple of PVT pieces mixed in to bring me to around 16k hp.
I play d/d fresh air 0/30/0/30/10. With berserker armour and scholar runes with sigil of battle/bloodlust. I switch to s/f or s/d as necessary, but generally prefer d/d.
For utilities I bring sigil of fire, for the extra crit, Lightning Flash because it’s awesome, and arcane shield because it’s convenient.
I play by constantly swapping attunements for the fury, casting a spell or two then back to air to auto attack.
Got booted from the game, and can’t log in again.
AC might not be exceptionally difficult, but it’s certainly not fun either.
They can’t really give much better a reward. After all, nothing prevents you from doing it again, and again.
It is my opinion, that the title, as well as the opinions stated, in the OP are entirely unhelpful to the Elementalist class, and development.
I would also like to add, that I after playing as an Elementalist to max level, have never felt that I was insufficient, although I have certainly been challenged to the very brink of my ability. I have welcomed the extra challenges of learning to play a complex class, and I have developed my own play style without consulting any other players.
I have not played any other classes, and will not comment on the relative power of the Elementalist.
I have 4 elements as my primary. Although I only use air for speed because the dagger main attack skill seems to bug out and miss 80% of the time, no matter what I do.
But yeah, I only use my primary elements.
You realize you are UP when you try out another class. You end up getting better result with less efforts very quickly
I will probably start up a guardian sometime later this month, but right now I am enjoying my elementalist at max level. From what you are telling me, once I start another class, I don’t want to come back
If you build tanky I’m sure it will be no problem to use that skill
I believe he is supposed to summon tonnes of adds, but currently fails to do so. (green-black circles on the ground are used throughout to summon creatures)
I didn’t know I was UP until I read it here. Sure I had some challenging fights but the game seemed to be built for that.
I run a D/D with points in mainly fire, earth, and arcane (for the cd reduction) and I am having a blast. However I think posts I have read here have discouraged me from trying out pvp.
