I dont know if it´s the case but it feels like Gandara and AG leave eachother alone, except for the occasional SM takeover, and just go for the few things that FSP has. =P

I´m the getting the “connection to server lost” error like every two or three minutes since last night. Never had this problem before. Anyone else having these issues? Did ANet pump out some patch yesterday tha could have messed it up?

Why, so you can have more bugged fractals that you can’t finish and more dungeons that get exploited and run in 10 minutes?

Bear in mind this is a game with no test server or public beta, so every new bit of content added to the game is basically still in beta, riddled with game-breaking or economy-breaking bugs.

We need a little time to recover from all the other new crap they’ve shoehorned in without a public test phase.

Sorry but I have never encountered a buggy fractal. So I have no problem with new fractals. And I have never exploited a dungeon. Why would I? That would just take away the fun of doing it. I dont know about you but I cant be arsed logging in and doing the same stuff for half a year. I had enough of that in WoW.

Instead of promoting teamwork it does the complete opposite. It encourages less people to fufill their role as a support and more people to just be all out dps, it causes people to think why revive heal and actually help my teammate when I can kill the nearest thing to allow him to get up.

Umm what you are describing here is actually teamwork. We do that in my group if we have one, or more, mobs on low health and one of us go down we shout on skype to kill one of the mobs instead of running off and reviving since the killing is most likely faster than reviving if the mob is low on health. How is that not helping a teammate?

So if i havent gotten any Vial yet and I´m on lvl 11 I have to go back and redo lower lvls to have a chance? o O

The future relationship between myself and ANet hangs on how you handle this and the timing / format of future events. Meanwhile Planetside 2 knows how to treat Aussie gamers so I’ll be spending my time and money there. Here’s hoping for a decent resolution to this sad turn of events, GW2 has so much potential and it’s sad to see it become Maple Story 2.

This solution will be for ppl who participated in the event and go disconnected. Its not for ppl who didnt attend the event at all. Yes, it was not the best time for Australian players but you did have the choice to attend it. Did you get blocked from the event? No. Was your account suspended for the event? No. It was just not during the best time but you could have attended it.

It was your choice that you didnt, whatever reason you had for it. School, work whatever.

I cant believe that you want reward for some event you didnt even attend. Just the thought makes me sick.

The thing is, how will they know who Dcd during the event and who didn´t when they can´t even check logs and give a refund when someone accidentally buy something that isn´t for their class? The only solution I can see them doing is give something to EVERYONE cause I really dont think they know exactly which accounts dcd during the event. That´s the hard truth.

Nah rezz xp isnt that high on a lvl 80 character. But it was fun rezzing someone and then 10 secs later same person ran into the next green goo and died again. =P

1. 90% of GW2 players dont know how to move out of green kitten and instead just stay in it and die.
2. 90% of GW2 players rather let the other 10% finish the fight and then rezz them instead of running back from waypoint to help out with the fight again.

Well after the shambles that has been lost shores i gave up on it all early this morning about 10hrs ago ,but upon checking my monthly achievements i just realised you need to complete 7 fractals and kill so many karka`s to get 100%. No ANet said that FotM plus the new zone will be for 80s only. But for this weekend will be a small exception that people will get scaled to 80 so they can participate.

I´m pretty sure they only said that scaling in the new zone and the event was for this weekend and the scaling in the dungeon would stay.

I"m off, but I feel so bad for people that continue to be screwed over by “one time events”, and missing things. We live in a culture that promotes the unemployed, a government that actively pays them to stay unemployed (even provides them health benefits to stay unemployed), I wish that this place was different.

Ever considered the fact that ANet might have more european players than american and that´s why it´s in the evening in europe and afternoon in USA? You didnt think this was only an american game right? And if they have more european than american players then yes they are thinking about who is paying their bills.

We, as a community of Guild Wars 2, need to make sure that these locust don’t further try to drag our beautiful and wonderful world that ArenaNet created, in a direction we don’t want it to go.

Let us be more of a presence in the forums, GuildWars2Guru, Reddit, etc. etc.

Most common fear with this new added tier, to “close the gap” between exotic and legendary gear, will lead to more higher gear stats in the future; leading to a treadmill.

Someone from Marketing once preached If you want to serve all, you might as well serve none.

I do agree that it is hard to satisfy all stats nerd, power-gamers, casual gamers etc. But it is much easier to retain existing customers.

ANet now need to choose whether to retain its fiercely ‘conservative’ player base or ‘forward-looking’ ones. I doubt GW2 has what it takes to compete with other MMOs though…

But only ANet knows which part is the majority and which part is the minority. I dont say you can cater to all players but it´s better to cater to as many players as possible. Who knows, maybe they are trying this out to see how many of the players likes it and how many dislikes it. If the majority dislikes it, they might change it again. It is ni their power to do so. But if it turns out the majority likes it then the people hating it is just going to have to suck it up or move on. That´s how it works. As you said a game cant cater to everyone.

Around the same motivation that I have doing dungeons where I don’t want the gear at the end : they are fun to do.

Ok but you can do that in both scenarios. In first scenario you do the dungeons because you find it fun and get the skins as bonus if you like them. In the second scenario you do the dungeons because you find it fun and you get better gear as a bonus. Even better if you also like the skin of it. I dont see the reason to whine so much about this.

They had the perfect end game, get your exotics of the right stats and then farm for looks, either through pvp, karma or dungeon runs. then if you ever changed your mind about your stats and roll, or just wanted a change in looks, do it again.

All they needed to do was keep releasing new skins with each content pass to give people something to run for, but no instead they are apparently buffing legendary’s to make them better than exotics, and adding a new set of better than exotic gear.

Perfect end game becomes yet another gear treadmill, well done.
