Oh really you got me i played from launch to end november took break in december and january so my logic must be flawed i play when server was in lower tiers and took break when server was strongest. Came back in february because i heard some people bailed (that is you mister) and they needed players again.
You dont have to explain to me you dont care about server you play is obvious from your actions you dont. Then again you claim you love Deso now. Uhm?
Im sure you aproached VoTF to join them no problem too bad you didnt take the time to also say farewell to people and left overnight without a peep.

Im one of the members VoTF “stole” from SFR and I can tell you the SFR we left a couple of months back are not the same SFR that I used to love and fight for. Some of my best memories from GW2 is when SFR fought against Riverside and Baruch as underdogs and still somehow managed to pull through, something a french might call “Vizunah Spirit” :P. ALL efforts from every guild was counted, during reset meeting we were prompted to sign up to “the list” even if we only had around 5-10 active in our guilds. But the old “pirate” days of SFR are gone, the serverpride is gone, the heart is gone, the underdog feeling is gone. Its just another bandwagoner server just like I used to view Desolation in the beginning. The original SFR community treasured every bit of effort a PUG put in, the extra arrowcart that nobody would build, the ram that would get instantly nuked, the trebber who trebbed down walls only to see his keep overrun by zergy germans. None of this was left when we decided to transfer off SFR, and it seems none of it have returned. All I can see from my old server is elitist bullcrap and Ive never regretted one bit that I left.

All the good things I once saw in SFR community I now see in the Deso WvW community, altho I admit to sometimes being an elitist kitten when someone drops a regular ram instead of a superior I would never mock that person, I would never call out his name in /team, and I would never consider him a burden for our server, since I have no idea how much work that single person have put into dropping that regular ram. And that whats I love about our current Desolation server, every bit of effort is appreciated, every effort a so called PUG puts in is never frown down on but encouraged. People can say all they want about IRON and their “blob”, but serverpride is one thing in abundance here

So you havent been on SFR for 1month+ now but you know that " But the old “pirate” days of SFR are gone, the serverpride is gone, the heart is gone, the underdog feeling is gone". really? Who told you that? The people that left with VoTF to NA but when they heard you plan to go back to EU but on Deso server they quit the guild and transfered to SFR? How was exactly Deso chosen by VoTF? Was it: “Okay guys lets go EU to do GvG’s. Most of guild willing to do that and that can put up a fight are in SFR so we ened to be in same tier..lets see theres Vizunah Square and Desolation. Visunah is FR speaking…hmmm…lets flip a coin: heads is Desolation..tails is Desolation. Deso pride yo!” Then crit food buff nerfed and VoTF wont GvG until they discover " new builds".

Nobody on SFR is bashing Pugs that help..we dont take kindly to ones that come on map die once then proceed to AFK in spawn.

As for Desolation serverpride we all know it and heard it from the server’s own guild itself: " If its red is dead!". Funny thing thats only the beggining part of theyre motto.

As for Desolation as a server i must apologise we all misunderstood you:

- all players in same guild
- if it has a pulse and is on WvWvW must be treated like sacred no need to prove himself as a valuable player. it does not matter if he afk’s in spawn or fights deers is an important member of community he deserves one of those little participant cups they hand out to kids.
- if you learn something you must share it with the whole server ppl in pve included

You guys keep forgetting Aneu knows SFR also all to well. He fought for it not too long ago with great succes. Theres no guild on SFR that comes even close to the numbers that IRON have. Rumor has it theres like 3xIRON of 400 members i know it is obviouslly an exageration but the tags we see on BL’s dont lie..60% if not more are IRON easy. Sure you can argue that IRON is WvWvW guild and theyre the only ones playing rest are pve but is not “healthy” for a server to just have one mega guild.

Considering some of the other posts in this thread, mine is rather non-stalky towards anyone, i just looked at world selection this morning after reading that post. I’ll have you note i also listed Deso pop, and pretty much didn’t bother with Vizu only because language-specific-yay-etc. :p

If i was a proper stalker i would remember which server you were from….. See, this is why people should be nice and use sigs.

I never acused you of being the perfect stalker. Just dont hint people where to free transfer theres alot of servers out there that need people in wvwvw more than us not to mention with the new patch we anticipate a few of our guys to start playing again so we might not be medium when they try to transfer..and that would crush theyre souls and blame you for giving them false hope. So in the end im looking out for you.

EU will be considered lightly. Our members are mostly from SEA and AUS, most having an average bandwidth of only 1MB which will effect our ping and lag (Dunno how the new culling will effect our lines also)

Sadly you are right ping can be a deal breaker…but from past NA guilds here i heard is not nearly as bad as you might think. Ask PRX they Played on SFR. Not to mention medium server = free transfer.

I think JS is atleast same level if not better and they are more well rounded. But my opinion.

This will be the last time i argue for this thing, i do it since Far Shiverpeaks wars (6 months) and i’m really tired.

We. Were. Really.35. in the raid. There was 35 in the chan, and 20+ in EB. When you talk about 150-200 players in the morning, when i see the true numbers with my own eyes, man, how can i do more to make you understand?

Btw, it’s clear that SFR is a really good server, and have a strong guild organisation. they ticked more than us since 12h (gmt+1) and they are at 270 right now. Do we whine? no. We try to find a way to tick much in the afternoon instead going on forums and say “fakin seafarers, nolife no work, hate hate, bad word, hate”.

We have all the power to build a better global community. Do we want this game to go like WoW? sure no. And i talk for Vizunah haters too, you should shut your mouth a little

Good:) We make a PuG GvG deal then? We all make lvl1 chars and go no gear just weapon equiped and fight behind victor’s lodge:) SFR brings 30 Deso brings 30 and VS brings 30 and winner gets a pen pal from Canada yes?:)

Rules: All parcitipants from all servers must bring own booze and come SFR Community TS and we all stay on same channel and fight over music bot selection choice while clubbering each other in -game.

Vizunah has been lied to and missinformed by people pretending to give this god fearing stand up citizen Troma BleuBleu information about people wishing the demise of VS server. Those plans are true and in effect but not Desolation and not SFR are the insigators they are manipulated by a ultra secret alliance made by Jade Quarry who cant stand the fact that theyre not the most winning server and Elona reach who went for german efficiency get T1 spot when 2 others are fighting;)
So Visunah you fell into Jade Quarry and Elona reach plans. I am disappointed Troma didnt thought of this..he needs new meeting fast.
The only truth is that Desolation and SFR cannot wait to fight eachother on the open field. Bouth would love to include VS but except for WL guild none of them come out of keeps unless is 2am.

What they should do is make guild commander tags..any player with officer rank can make the commander icon and all guildies can see it but none of others and give to this one different colour. They can future expand it for others to see it if they join said commander group thingy or whats it called.

Bure – Seafarer’s rest EU

Brunners you can check all past matches SFR had we never night capped, only reason we doing better is because of AO guild that came to our server from US and that is theyre prime-time. Meanwhile you nightcap with iron which are alarm clocking. Desolation was from very start a server of mindless drones bunching together for an easy win that never had or even attemped to organise. As soon as you got any sort of organised oposition you started running and hiding like rats. For some weird reason you start to believe your worth something to WvWvW universe and should be able to atleast get 2nd in this match-up. From the start we targeted Kodash because we fought them in the past with Elona Reach and had some debts to pay. You were left alone living off wellfare points we decided not to contest. The goal was to make you guys get close to Kodash so that you two would start desperatelly fighting for 2nd and we just /popcorn and /badges. Theres two more days of the match-up, keep acting like youre any good and we might take you off wellfare, Kodash seem demoralized would boost theyre confidence getting 2nd in this match-up. I say we give it to them:0

TL:DR Dear deso dont bite the hand that feeds you as it may also strike you.

This is all about effort and reward ratio. Last week Kodash and us were fighting alot and were close, Elona was not on same level then after 3-4days in the match they just dissapeared for prime-time and mass logged night and day and went from 3rd to 1st while avoiding any actual fighting of the oposite servers.
I will try to explain why is annoying when that hapends: compare a WvWvW battle with a commercial television 1 week program. WvWvW rewards points and TV gets rewarded by $ from commercials they run. They are bouth non stop.
In WvWvW you get rewarded same points in night as you would get in prime-time, a TV station that would ask advertisers to pay the same amount for all times of the day will get laughed at.
In prime-time you get the big bucks…they dont get nor ask nearly a 10% of that for the adds they run when is nighttime and teleshopping time.
Now, are the people watching TV at night able to do just that? YES. Will the same companyreward the TV station the same amount of $$ for prime-time as teleshopping time? No they wont.
Why wont they do it? Because a “Dancing with the dolyaks” tv show in prime-time gets 4milion viewers and is 40% market share and is worth 5k $ an add. Now a re-run of same “Dancing with the dolyaks” show at late night has 50k viewers and represents 90% if market share at that time but is worth 5$ an add and not 12k $ which Anet pays in WvWvW in current system.
Current match-up: Blacktide are good, they stood and fought during week-end early week but gave up on confronting and just play mornings. Baruch Bay are sort of a remixed Churchill quote: “Never have so many morons owed so much to a few nightcappers” like these ones do. I dont get it…FR has strong servers, DE has strong servers. SP has one server and is kitten, is weird really weird.

On short term, because of the high demand, test disabling anything not PvP related in battlegrounds: resource nodes etc increase spawn time for mobs (diminishing the drops and xp from them doesnt seem to do the trick) and put a huge rock to block jump puzzle with a big troll face sculpted on it (give it an ice age feel to it tho) and see how it impacts que times.
Make it easier for people to leave the borderlands, a more visible solution, alot of people get inside then start asking in /y or /t how to get out.
Take out all start area npc’s except repair and siege vendor.

Keep it as is and make all servers International so guilds from all over time zones will play and/or pair EU/NA servers based on rank like rank 1 US/EU vs 2 US/EU vs 3US/EU and so on.. so yet again will be less dead zones.
