I miss stunlocking and backstabing in PvP! can I do anything similar and just as fun with thieves?

Waypoints ruin the game a little in my honest opinion

I wish they simply added mounts with one or two waypoints in each region.
Instead of seeing the beautiful world in GW2, people are simply spending a couple of copper to teleport from point to point.
It’s worse than what world of warcraft did by having a flight point at every quest hub.

Or at least add casting time to teleporting to a waypoint, a four second cast with an animation.

Also which weapons should I use for solo lvling and which for pvp? o:

I was thinking about using greatsword at range and then when the enemy gets in close, switching to sword and pistol. Would that work?

Nah, I think I’ll be doing more WvW when I get into pvp

And should I go full Dom or split points between dom and dueling (For solo questing)

I have no idea how to spec my mesmer.
I plan on PvP’ing in the future with a little pve on the side, but for now, I’m solo lvling.
What should I put my points into for solo’ing?

I’m currently only level eight but so far questing seems hellish, my damage output seems pretty bad (Sword/pistol) and I’m dying quite a lot.

Is it worth lvling up a Mesmer. I’m mainly planning to pvp with raiding on the side.

Are mesmers any good in pvp or am I just going to be getting killed every five seconds?

Time to forget getting this game~ people were right about the community being vile.

Alienware is overpriced and not too good.

Can I run this game on high without severe lag with this build?
