I cant find vorpp anywhere that he is supposed to be… Is there a requirement to be able to see him?
I am interested in doing the crown pavillion, but cant even see vorpp to get started!
I am 100% with you .. I have been bouncing from game to game (around real life of course) basically trying to re-create what diablo 2 was for me. Quite honestly it was the friends and gameplay that brought it all together. I am hoping to find the same thing in guild wars. I am brand new, learning everything from scratch, though spending countless hours on other mmo’s should make that curve easy.
Feel free to add me in game, I rather play with consistent people than randoms all the time. Guild wars does a good job at bringing everyone together with the core engine but there’s nothing better than setting a goal with some buds and reaching it.
Thank you for all the advice, this community has been very helpful so far. I started some trains tonight and the exp was good, and the loot wasn’t too shabby either. A few people in game say this is their way to farm gold all the time.
I have yet to try WVW.. so maybe I should see what that’s all about
Thanks!
What dungeon would you suggest a new player to start in, and what level?
I have no clue where any of these dungeons are. Right now I am in the human area, finding the closest dungeon to that would be very helpful!
ah good call, thanks everyone for the tips I’ll continue grinding a little.. still haven’t found “dungeons” I dont think.. but soon enough I might just start that crafting trick.
is there a specific profession to craft with that’s more economical than another to lvl that way?
So I have reached level 10 in the human starting zone. Grinding the hearts is a little slow, I tried to mad king lab which wasn’t too bad but I think my group was pretty weak so most events were taking a long time. (probably lots of noobs like me trying to leech the exp :P )
Is there a common or preferred area to level up quickly? I know I have been warned over and over to take it slow, but I prefer to go level quickly than explore and have fun with wvw/pvp etc. The lore and the story isn’t my main interest.
thanks all!
thanks! .. I was just killing the enemies and walking away lol
Heh.. so getting back to my questions if you guys dont mind. Can someone point this noob towards the mad king area? is that just the “mad king doors” that randomly spawn. Right now I am just grinding hearts in the human starting area. (wasn’t having a whole lot of fun in the norn starting area)
miss half the game? far as I can tell theres new content all the time. I am not worried about the perfect story line etc. Id just like to play my way. The way that brings me joy.
Which is usually leveling fast as I can and face rolling things.
Where do you find mad king lab?
Awesome, I am definitely getting a lot of different feedback which is pretty neat. That tells me there are multiple ways to succeed in this game rather than the cookie cutter mmo’s
I’ll soak all of this in. I’ll probably mess with gathering and crafting and do dailies to level and self find until I learn enough about the game mechanics to take all this advice into consideration. I really do appreciate the time from everyone
Yeah fair enough, I definitely want to learn the game to the full extent. Leveling quickly shouldn’t ruin my experience i hope. I understand that this game always has open and dynamic quests.. but so far i have been taking it slow
The gold is accessible from friends who have played and favors in return for a favor in different games etc. Not to sound arrogant but I could have over 500G loaded today but that’s not going to help my experience. I want to try to learn how to create my own economy and sustainability in game
Thank you for the responses, I appreciate it
in terms of building a decent bank, is farming the best/most efficient option than?
Hey Guys.. I am downloading Guildwars 2 after watching reviews and gameplay for a couple weeks.
I will have a nice supply of gold (100 gold or so) to start off with. What should I start crafting to help build a bankroll of gold? I know I have a ton to learn so if this question is too broad I understand.
