Started with me 2 hours ago, didnt have such a thing since launch. First I was DC’ing every 1-2 mins, then looked a bit stable, stayed online for 10 mins with a lag but didnt DC, then started again.

Centrix, perhaps I should have written more simply, but dont accuse me with resorting to childish wordplays, which I didnt. What I wrote was clear enough. To sum up,

- I never said someone from VII called me an idiot. I said someone from a guild I praised for NOT spawncamping called me so. You correctly pointed the addressee.

- I said someone from VII laughed at me, which you said didnt happen, so I told you where to look to see it.

Please note that you raised these after I said the issue is over for me. Seriously, if there is someone that cant get over with it, look somewhere else.

Centrix, issue is closed for me after you saying “Spawncamping is not that noble”. All I expected was to hear something along those lines. Instead I got laughed at and even called an idiot (by someone from a guild i praised for not spawncamping!) but, whatever, I heard what I wanted to.

I officially protest VII for the fact that you didnt spawncamp us before. Had you done so, I would have “whined and complained” earlier, and you would have enlightened us about the rationale of your noble endeavors at the start, not the end of the week, preventing useless drama. My Apologies. I now know better. If you have any other points to justify spawncamping, please keep them coming, I am starting to look favorably into the concept.

As for those AGers who praised UWers for keeping up: Sorry we couldnt pose a challenge. Giving all we got, but we aint got much you see :-)

Yeah, you hit the nail it the head, it IS the only thing we could find. This matchup sucks balls for everyone, not our fault :/ I want it to be over as much as you do.

Look, i’ve been outmanned, stomped, and bored before. In my opinion, nothing beats spawn camping the losing server’s pugs with your organised guild in terms of lowliness. There were guildless people there. Seniors. Baby seals and penguins and pandas… Thing is, we faced far superior servers and lost before, but I never saw TUP for instance spawn camp. I think there should be some no-no’s even if you’re bored to death and this is one of them. If you think differently, which is entirely normal, do move on, nothing to see here.

VII, spawn camping UW pugs at xroads. Is THAT the only challenge you could find? Bravo, please accept my compliments for your überness….

My apologies to both servers (mainly AG) for us being such a pathetic opponent and not offering you any fights you can enjoy. Guess that’s why my poor charr butt constantly got stomped by groups of up to 20+ while solo roaming today. I even got cannoned from SM while getting a sentry. Good effing job, hope you enjoyed it!

Again, sorry that this is the best we can do at the moment, but do enlighten me, is there any fun for two guild groups of 20+ (AG’ers, you know who you are) on UW map’s north end, where there is only a handful of soloers & puggers?

Guess my biggest thanks goes to Anet for this “season” thing. Anet, you really threw quite a few people into a terrible state with this system. This 7 weeks wasnt fun for anyone I know here at UW. Unlike the bulk of our wvw community, we stayed and fought, but enough is enough, Please consider rectifying this system. To have a closer look at it from customer happiness point of view, I kindly invite you to try playing wvw on UW this week

Well I for one wouldnt want to lose a good opponent like FSP due to a merger but fighting WITH you may be just as fun as fighting AGAINST you :-) Maybe your suggestion will get more attention when season starts with Deso-UW-FSP matchup :-) Kudos for making a bold and forthcoming suggestion like this. (And if you were trolling, well, you good in what you do lol)

Kale and Punk seem to have missed UW very much, seems they auto log on UW map :-) Nice to see you folks again, fun reset.

Since BB was losing rating last few weeks, I was hoping that this matchup would go a bit more balanced, but sadly that didnt happen. UW’s fairweatherers running away from high tier servers plus a solid coverage from BB right from start shaped the rest of the week. There were moments of frustration, like getting beaten to pulp 1v20 three times in a row around UW home spawn, but I guess you had too many people looking for anything to bash and cant blame you for having such numbers and coverage. A meh week due to the lopsidedness for my taste, but much loot and many kills. Good luck for next week to everyone!

Overall it was a nice week I think. Many kills, much q q, but even more pew pew. After the plush lootbag trains of Blobaddon, GH’s double orichalchum armored trucks were hard as hell to dent. Anyhow, hugs and kisses and kitten + best of luck for next matchup!

Los Re, nice post. Apparently you couldn’t/didn’t understand what I meant, so I won’t bother re-explaining. Nice to see we are not the only ones that you love though. Best wishes for the future, going back to my hole now. Oh btw, if you ever want to visit our hole, i.e. UW hills, a guided tour is available for 5 silver per head.

In light of what people wrote here, I applied to ANet and asked that we face GH every week. I also happily announce that two more defensive guilds will soon move to UW. Hallelujah!

Dear GH fellows, sorry you dont enjoy this week. I do. Just like I enjoy every week, be it running headfirst onto Blobaddon trains, trying to keep Hills against superior numbers from two servers, or getting torn into pieces by TuP on the field. Oh btw, if I wanted to learn a thing or two about field fights I’d knock TuP’s door not yours. They were kind enough to say they enjoyed our matchup instead of saying how lame our server/guild is.

The statement above reflects the thoughts of my good self and my ancestors. It is also attributable to junior GuM members, but not to GuM leadership or UW hierarchy or any other UW-affiliated official entity.

DanyK, if you promise to attack that temple with your risen friends (which probably will result in your failure, followed by another post from you at forums about how lame we are) I swear to provide round the clock, ultra siege protection for that temple. I apologize that me and most GuM do not play the game by your standards, do forgive us, and if there is anything we can offer to make you come back to UW, where you can enlighten us about the way the game is meant to be played, do let us know.

That aside, it indeed seems that UW and GH dont make a good match in terms of guild size and coverage, at least for the moment, but I dont see why this is so dramatic. Try having fun with what you got for a change…

Wow writing this made even me feel nice and happy, now I know why we get this so often…

I know what we’re missing, midweek interserver transfers! I heard rumors that say Los Re has loved GuM so much that he will join us, bringing along 5 legendary supply trappers and 10 veteran yaks, vulnerable only to sarcasm damage.

Holidays over, getting to play less, mostly at prime time. Perhaps the blobs are more annoying for UW morning crews, but I kinda enjoy the blobs. A blob is a walking loot tree. You give a nice hard kick, you get heavy loot bag in return. Yes sometimes the tree falls on your head, but what to do. Overall I think this week was a nice change and challenge for UW, and I consider this week a success for us. Lets keep having fun and dropping phat loot to one another!

Yea overall nice week of wvw. When I saw the matchup I was afraid UW would be heavily bruised. Well we got bruised alright but we landed a few fists in return, so all is well I suppose. Thanks for the loot, hope I dropped something nice to someone out there, and best of luck for next week!

The kitten server is called Underworld, and you ask why we’re strong during nighttime?

Joke aside, overall it was a nice week of wvw. If some of us boasted a bit with the night ticks, take that as a venting off against your superiority during the day. Besides, boasting about it is normal because you are a strong server and reaching that tick against you is indeed an accomplishment for UW.

Anyways, leaving the usual trolling aside, I think it was a good week, thanks for the loot, and I hoped I dropped something big and nice for you :-) That bay siege was one of the most engaging wvw events I took part since the game launched, thanks for that and best of luck to everyone next week!

I will ask for a photo ID and fraps record and Anet confirmation and account pw next time I hear of an UW mesmer hiding in an enemy keep…

@Agrios: Yesterday, in response to two posts wrongly accusing GuM you declared: “sad that you use exploits…sadly it happened and it was a guild”.

Today you find it strange that we see ourselves as victim and add that you dont mean to call us hackers.

Guess this is your way of saying “sorry guys seems there was a mistake”. You will probably understand how we feel better when your guild is wrongfully branded as haxzors.

Next time you feel like coming to the forums and somberly declaring what a tragic day it is for gaming history because a friend of yours wrote that guild xyz of server abc haxzored into your bay, make sure to have some facts to back you up…

@people who wrongfully accused GuM: You are creating a trashy environment by blaming people and guilds based on hearsay. Tomorrow you may be falsely accused this way by someone else, who will be backed by someone and wham- you are a guild of haxzors. Do you really want to play in such an atmosphere? You faced us on the field fair and square, you know what we’re made of, why on earth should we resort to hax and glitches? So yes, I agree that an apology is in order.

Orrian Uber Champion Hamster (ouch) from the server Underworld is looking for more members.

OUCH was recently founded by a small & dedicated group that decided to make a fresh start together, following the decline of their original guild. We currently have 10 active members. As we’re small, what one member says means something to the others, and we definitely want to keep it this way.

We have 2 commanders, our own mumble server, and the willingness to build a site if we keep growing. We’re an English speaking guild with members hailing from all over Europe. What we expect from new members is to be mature and team-oriented, and if possible, use mumble (mic not required but is welcomed). Our doors are open to both veterans and newbies.

We are currently researching our way on to guild bounty line, so for now we mostly do wvw or a dungeon run or two or pve meta events. What we want to have is a guild that doesn’t focuses exclusively on one thing, but one that performs smoothly and effectively in all its endeavors.

What we’re offering is not a quick ticket to high-end guild missions or a guaranteed spot round the clock to super fast Arah runs. We propose building something together, where your personal contribution will be felt and valued. If interested, send a pm or whisp to Arien Clansilmaril.

UW denizen here. I dont usually post on the forum, but seeing the claim from a few FS players about UW allying with Dzag, I wanted to share the following (This’ll be longish and in line with what Commander Kindinos said earlier).

One day after reset, after their nightcap, Dzag was leading comfortably. UW and FS were both at roughly half score of Dzag. My guild (MtG) went to Dzag BL with 15, but had to withdraw when we heard how UW BL was under attack from Dzag and FS. We went back and tried to break wave after wave of FS from your spawn, all the time thinking “Wouldnt UW and FS be better off attacking Dzag together? Why attack us?”

Once we had enough numbers to secure our own BL, MtG moved to FS because we were really angry with that incessant (and in our assessment pointless) FS attack. That humble assault, which included a takeover of bay by us, lasted for about 1,5 hours. We stopped slightly after hearing you gave up attacking UW and moved to Dzag BL.

So before laying claims such as UW & Dzag allying against FS, consider that there just might be a reason for whatever that happened (or whatever that you THINK happened). Plus, you obviously can attack whomever you think is right. But if that’s me you’re attacking, instead of coming to forums and accuse you of allying with Dzag, I will go to your BL and make you pay for what you did (or what I PERCEIVED you did).

I want to underline that this is directed only to the person who came up with the claim. Over the last few weeks our slowly growing MtG enjoyed quite a few fights with FS people. You have a solid wvw community, aside for a few individuals who apprently try to come up with excuses and accusations but do not question their own side much.

And as for Dzag, if memory serves right, they had lost in our matchup 3 weeks ago. They obviously made some moves since then, including getting some new and able people. I’m perfectly ok with nightcapping and portal bombing, so my commendation for you guys being able to make use of these. But, in my way of thinking they really aren’t Tier 7 stuff, so I do hope you guys go up soon and stay there for good (Leave us now and never come back!)

TL;DR: Had FS attacked Dzag instead of UW 1 day after reset when Dzag was 2 times ahead of the other 2, things might have worked out differently, so dont accuse us of allying with Dzag and question your own tactics. Respect to FS and Dzag, hope Dzag goes up and stays there!

Duels of the Planeswalkers (MtG) is a largish guild of the server Underworld that has 170 members. Currently at Euro prime time we have about 40 people online (both figures have been slowly but steadily on the rise).

Our members hail from all over Europe. We have decent dungeon runs. We occasionally do fractals (a group among us is at 10+ levels). We have some dedicated wvw people and a commander. It seems we will spend more time at wvw in the future (UW is at tier 7, we do not have a queue problem, server has a fair alliance in its own merits, and MtG hopes to contribute more now, our wvw roster is constantly growing).

We are a guild of mature people that like a good joke and dislike drama. If you are looking for a friendly, pressure-free atmosphere where the priority is enjoying the game in whichever way you think is best, we will be happy to see you among our ranks. All we want from you is to represent us and help carry the guild forward together. By the way, dont let those Aatxes mislead you- Believe it or not, other denizens of Underworld are also pretty amicable critters
