I have this same problem. I have the 3rd tier collection active (I need two items yet)
I have defeated the bears, and I have a couple collections unlocked.

Crafting a Legendary Weapon/Armor is not for the fainthearted., they take time an dedication. I’m working on my first (Frostfang) and just spend about a week doing WvW so that I could get just one piece I needed (Never really done much before) and now I am getting ready to start doing fractals so that I can get a couple of other bits I need as well as to get gold to purchase some of the things I can’t craft or find.
So while I understand it is a major undertake, just know that not everyone even tries (I’ve been playing off and one since day one and I’m just starting my 1st!) LOL

Yeah, I would image the Demo Chars are still there just not visible to us until the next Beta weekend

The people who do craft them are a) going to use them or b) Selling them at a very steep price to recover the price of the runes. Somehow I don’t see the 25 slot bag becoming the normal. Unless they are going to have bags the the Halloween bag be crafted at a 25 slot level.

As a long time player, Started in GW1 and had GW2 the day it came out, I find that a goal of some kind to work towards helps me from getting bored. Crafting Legendary and Ascendant armor and weapons is always a challenge. (The amount of wood/Mithril need for The HMS Divinity is just staggering!) Then there is always WvW / PvP and Fractals when that gets old.

Right, but how do I get there. Via the COE Dungeon? Or Via the Infinite Coil Champion? Ive tried both and still haven’t been able to find it. The Wiki helps some but not much at this point.

ok. i need to get the IWS to finish making Frostfang. However I can not find where to get the water from. I was thinking I had to defeat the boss at the Infinite Coil Reactor. Okay did that, couldn’t find any water. Thought maybe it was in the Crucible of Eternity. Ran the dungeon in story mode. No Water?
Am I missing a door or switch or something?

Okay, I had the same problem. Check under options to see if you have Disable Area of Effect Rings turn on. For some reason the Flames are acting the same way. Turn this back on and the flames may appear. I know they have for me!

Well the skimmer on POF is said to be able to skim across water so who knows

POF isn’t available anywhere until 9/22 you’ll get the other items like the gems ahead of time but the actually POF Download isn’t going to arrive until 9/22

Oh I hear you there. I am holding off buying hoping that at least the deluxe edition becomes available.

This might sound a bit off putting, but the quickest way to earn gold is tp flipping. It’s pretty boring, but you can do it during down times and make easy gold. I went from 100 to 900 gold when I did it a lot for a week.

I have been trying to do this, but so far I am breaking even at best Granted I have just started doing it. Any tips on how to make money at TP Flipping?

I have been crafting Frostfang for my Ranger, and I must admit that at times I have seriously thought about giving it up. just some of the components are next to impossible to get. Yes, I understand that it is a legendary but I am just trying to figure out of the stats are really worth grinding out 1000 Orichalcum ingots, to say nothing of having to do the grind in WVW to get the Gift of battles.
