- Diminishing Returns on dungeon rewards
- Diminishing Returns on mob drops
- Diminishing Returns on group events
- Diminishing Returns on World Bosses
- Diminishing Returns on Log-ins (okay that one’s a joke)
- Terrible boss mechanics that mainly stem from the way “Defiance” and aggro work (there’s a pretty kitten good thread on improving that buried somewhere in the suggestion forum; but basically have defiance work as a diminishing return (har har) mechanic against CC so that bosses can have mechanics that need to be/can be interrupted)
- Bosses that have a 3 ability rotation that simply repeat for 5 minutes untill they die
- Complete lack of polish in many aspects of the game, especially twords high-level combat (i’m looking at you Zitahn)
- Every patch so far has been temporary save for Fractals and South Sun
- Legendaries are bought, not earned (this one irks me to no end)
- No reward for doing Jumping Puzzles other than just for the sake of it
- Lack of titles now that i think of it
- RNG on kittening everything
- So much DR and RNG everywhere that the best way to get anything is to farm gold and buy it
- Inability to filter armour types on the trading post (ie, only search for light armour)
- people that sell things for 1c over the vendor value on the trading post
- the fact that everything is going up in price on the trading post all the time (almost everything is now 3-4x the price it was when the game came out)
I would whole-heartedly agree with everything you said; and i’de also add that the loss of damage coulped with the fact that everything has the same health on land as in water just makes already dull silver/champion/boss fights simply unbearable.

This video is of one of the top dungeon guilds (if not THE top guild) doing AC, from the perspective of the guy that created a Ranger build that rivals Warrior DPS. As you can see when they jump into the water, his lvl 80 theif doesn’t even have the 2 ability on his spear unlocked, which I think says alot about under water combat.
11 months and this still isn’t in the game? Sometimes I just look at this game and go, “What, the kitten, are are you thinking Anet…”.
I completely agree with this whole thing; especially the idea of spiders running around on the roof of a cave.
Signed, the fact that my ranger does about 30% of the damage my warrior in the same gear does is just absurd, considering they’re both damage classes. Not that Anet has any interest in fixing the ranger because all they’ve done is nerf the already UP class from the beginning. This makes my ranger neigh-unplayable because that’s always sitting in the back of my mind whenever i play and it’s becoming nearly impossible for me to even log in anymore.
I like this idea.
One of the issues I have with the UI is the way combat text is displayed. The way it’s displayed coming off of a target is obstructive, especially when using something like a Ranger’s Short bow. The pop up damage, crit bubble thing and the bleed ticks, in addition to any particle effects like burning, make it hard for me to see targets; especially small targets like Asura or Gravelings. So, I would like to see a tweak to the UI that allows players to have battle text scroll to the side, like in WoW’s MikScrollingBattleText adddon, seen here:

So, I was thinking about various ways to improve the current way Precursor weapons are obtained. What i came up with was this Mystic Forge recipe.
Pact Victory Token + Puzzle Master’s Token + Justice + Tragedy
Pact Victory Token this, as most of you know, comes from completing Story Mode.
Puzzle Master’s Token This is something that would be obtained by completing all the jumping puzzles. Because as of now, there really isn’t any reason to do them, other than because you like them. Adding this as part of a precursor would make people want to do them and also make the Legendary require you to do more of the game’s content.
Justice This would be a special weapon made from combining 4 weapons of the same type from Caudecus’s Manor, Sorrow’s Embrace, Citadel of Flame, and Crucible of Eternity. I think those 4 dungeons sort of go together because they have the same sort justice-driven lore to them.
Tragedy This is another special weapon made in the same way as Justice, but comes from combining weapons of same type from Ascalonian Catacombs, Twilight Arbor, Honour of the Waves, and Arah; Because these dungeons have a much more tragic lore to them.
So, i thought this was a fair way to get precursors, that would involve more of the game’s content than the current Random Number Generator bullocks.

I’d rather they just fix the ones we already have.
I’m not sure about Sigil of Superior Earth, but I do know that the bleeds from Crossfire and Sharpening Stone do stack, as well as your pet’s bleeds; also your pet bleeds from the short bow 4 ability.
At one point i had a build that let me stack up to 22 stacks of bleeds, but i found that to be impractical against bosses because you can only have 25 stacks between everyone. Still, condition/trap based short bow builds are powerful.
So, there is a crashed helicopter blocking an orran sapling in the Compass Plaza, Cursed Shore on the Blackgate server; here is what it looks like.
