Yeah but that can’t replace the opinion of somebody who knows these classes. That’s all I’m looking for, a nudge by expertise.

Its been a while and there was a sale on HoT, so of course I dove back in. I’ve got a Reaper main now, in the stead of my old condition-well machine of a Necro. There’s also a hunter I had temporarily made my main during earlier Living World stuff, plus some Warrior I’ve hardly touched beyond getting to max level and making pretty. Sometimes I level my Mesmer but eh, I’ll get around to it.
Now naturally the Revenant’s interesting on the surface, along with it being the shiny new class. I’m not a fan of the Engineer or uh… whatever the Spy is—-by the gods do I never care for the sneaky types. The Guardian’s caught my eye though, as I’ve only played around a bit with mine its felt rather natural. Given that I just got my hands on HoT, I got this nifty lv80 thing and I’m split on whether I should use it on the trusty old Guardian or this fancy new Revenant.
tl;dr – Having mostly played ranged classes, aside from recently adopting the whole HoT Reaper-Necro thing, should I automatically level a Revenant or Guardian to 80?

My problem evidently stemmed from the “Speedbit Video Accelerator” I installed about as long ago. Thanks to support having me digging around in things, I came across that lingering program I downloaded along with a download accelerator I had installed to faster download a pesky mod that had been taking an eternity to download.
I’m no tech expert but you’d probably do well to get rid of such extraneous internet related programs, if you’ve found yourself stuck with similar problems.

If only it were so merciful to mend itself, the problem on my end remains most stubborn.

They must’ve gone for Christmas or something, if they’ve still yet to respond.

It certainly isn’t just an EU problem, unless it is the case that my fondness for Europe over this glorified hillbilly colony I was born in somehow has turned my internet European.

I’ve done my due cursory-Google-search diligence to find a solution and that one solution everyone in the universe is supposedly using isn’t working for me.
So, solutions?

They are in the racial cities next to the Trading Post NPCs.
Couldn’t find one in Hoelbrak or the human city, however I went to the Grove for the hell of it and finally found one.

Neither, this guy.

The wiki says he’s around a bunch of trading places and I’m not seeing him.

I’ve been away for a while and decided to delve back into the game and given this whole town cloths being gutted thing, I’d really like the stuff I spent moneys on back. However I can’t seem to find these Black Lion Armor Traders people keep referring to ANYWHERE.
Can someone point these mysterious people out, because I can’t find them nor can I find anything that will point me to them.

Done everything not related to killing the nigh unkillable. Have 8/9.
Boo.

I ‘m going to go out on a limb here and assume to get the Boss Week achievement you have to be one of the maybe 500 people lucky enough to kill Tequatl; and you can’t simply dodge his waves, find some teeth, and dodge his tail to get it.
Yes?

So it’s impossible to get to Angvar’s Trove without having 6 people from your guild?
That’s just annoying. -.-
Update
…or a ton of guildies from some other guild that randomly happen to be wandering around could open it for you.

Explorer achievements are for the unfogging of the map. There are areas on the map that don’t have POIs, hearts, or vistas, yet have distinct map areas. Once you’ve visited all of them, you then get the achievement. The only way to ‘cheat’ this is to look at a completely unfogged map and compare it to yours, seeing which small named areas are missing.
From your zoomed out map, try Griffonrook Run as one area you haven’t been to – looks like it’s still fogged, but that could be your zoom level.
This would have been oh so sightly good to know… guess its time to spend the next hours wandering around the edges of the map.
Edit
Given that this post exists I may as well toss a few screenies of spots I’m suspect are what I need but elude me. Like this place in Snowden Drifts that practically protrudes into what I know as explorable.
…and this other place that’s sealed off by a door of some sort.
Besides those that’s it, I’m at 173/175.

That map is zoomed out way too far to get any useful information out of it. Any zoom level above 2 is basically useless for determining if you have uncovered an area yet.
Explorer is also unrelated to map completion. It is entirely possible to have 100% world completion and still missing various explorer titles.
I know… the point is I have everything listed and have been to every noted point on the map in the Shiverpeaks; hearts, points of interest, ect. Anything that for some reason isn’t counted on the side of the map isn’t something I have the slightest inclination of.
~George Orwell
I’ve been gone from the game a while, and never really paid much attention to points given their once useless nature when I last played much a few months ago. Though naturally being not too far from 2500 I want stuffs.
Among my nearest to completion achievements is Shiverpeek Explorer, I explored every last place long ago and went to every single region to find nothing missing.
I am now left with 170/175 with no 5 too make it 175/175.

Porting through a closed door is exploiting, even if it’s a workaround of a very annoying bug.
If you’ve run through the entirety of a dungeon and this bug turns an honest full run into a pointless time/coin sink, to call it an exploit is logically dimwitted draconian nonsense.
In this case it is a solution, an unorthodox one, but one nonetheless.

Same, I was in there all afternoon and after a few hours got nothing. I’m about to give up on Arah until they fix all of this bullkitten.

If anyone needs a Necro I’m currently on almost all day and working on getting a full set at any opportunity so I’ll be willing to run this for a while.
I’ve only managed to finish a run of 3 thus far and I am currently not in a guild so I’d be willing to join the one mentioned above.

This is ridiculously hard, I’ve been at it all evening and have gotten nowhere. I’m getting consumed by green gaseous crap even as I type this.

While going through the Magg portion of CoF Exp at the point where my party had reached the collecting bombs section, Magg had spawned in an odd place somewhat inside a rock, which made it impossible for us to give him our flaming balls of doom.
A dungeon reset fixed this of curse, but if it can happen once it can happen again.
~George Orwell
Same problem in Anvil.
If I didn’t know better I would say someone must be trying to ruin everything I happen to be interested in doing.
~George Orwell
Ever since the last patch, the Citadel of Flame’s entrance has been permanently sealed in the server I call home, Anvil Rock. Also the event in which you escort Razer and secure the gate has never since reset. It was working perfectly the day prior, as I was running it for the first time in hope of acquiring its armor which is now just beyond my reach.
Why must you torture me?
