Guild Wars 2

Bolt Vol III has 2 bugged hero points, both needed to attune a charged crystal with. The first is at the luminate plant in Metrica Province, the second in Timberline falls near that big head at the Grawl, lead by an asuran. I think the description of the second is “add secrecy to your charged quartz crystal”. Those are the only two that seem to be missing, interacting with the hero point does nothing…. so close….

I think it’s been badly formatted, I can’t seem to copy 19GB in one go. But recent development, I ran furmark, since I’ve come to see on some forums with similar problems, that’s in fact the graphics card… So I ran furmark benchmark, and the same freeze happens right AFTER furmark hits its 15 min mark (so when it tries to close the bench). Also ran a small test, tried to rescale the furmark screen, …freeze… So I think I’ll plug in my old gtx 260 and see what happens.

For some reason the download fails when I try to install it on my external HDD….

The link with the repair utility didn’t fix it for me sadly, going to try another SATA cable (it’s over 5 years old).

Edit: cable doesn’t make any difference

Thanks for the link, I’ll try it out but I doubt this will solve my case as my installation was clean and therefore “not old”, since the freeze happened like a couple of days after install.

Hm, that could make sense, I used my SATA cable that hooked on my old (6 years) HDD drive, and used it for my SSD drive, did the speedrate of a SATA cable change (or at least the need) when SSD’s came out?

I have the exact(!!) same problem, also read that power shortage could be a problem, that fixed it for a couple of days, but now it just froze again. It’s also a Samsung 840 256GB SSD, clean install of w7 64 bit…

I’m having this problem myself, I clean installed everything on an SSD, redownloaded GW2 and I’ve been having freezes on GW2 ever since. It used to be alot more often, but then I found somewhere that it might freeze because of power shortage, and that you can choose to “never put your hard drive to sleep”. I did this, and the freezes stopped…for a couple of days, now I just had a new one… Any ideas?

Loved it!!! Would be awesome if they’d bring this back! It’s like from the start you boot GW2, you’re in the a different world, now you have to pass a non full screen log-in screen.

Yep, I hope they fix it soon thought…. 10g’s isnt that cheap :p

My thoughts exactly… but here I am still sitting on a ( temporarily ) wasted 10g recipe.

Hi guys,

I’ve bought the recipe to create a satchel of berserker’s armor (exalted). Apparently there’s something wrong with the ingredients, you have to put in way more ingredients then you would if you crafted the items separately. A month ago they responded ( https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/crafting/Crafting-Question-Why-Would-Anyone-Make-A-Satchel/page/2#post105927 ) and said they would fix it in future patches…. till today no fix has been done. Any ideas on whether this is still considered bugged and whether or not they’ll fix it?

I’ve read the first page, and so far I haven’t seen my bug that has been making me throw my headphones to the ground. Sometimes when you bring up your elemental (I’ve only got this with fire elementals btw) their flapping wings sound is AMAZINGLY loud. Like it just overstorms all of the rest of the sound. And from what I’ve heard from my party, then can hear the wings flapping as well. This bug however isn’t consisting afaik, I haven’t been able to analyze under what conditions this bug happens, but it’s a very, very annoying one when it does happen.

Normally I want my elementals to live on forever….when the bug appears….I just want them to die :p. Hope this gets picked up in the list

Confirming this bug, sometimes when you spawn an elemental the volume is just amazingly loud, all you can hear is your elemental flapping his wings. (Talking of course about the fire elemental.) And above all, I was running around doing an explorable dungeon with my friends, and they could hear the flaps as well, tremendously loud….. Can you guys fix this, after the important issues ofcourse.
