Chris I totally understand the reluctance to make it easy to identify a player’s server. There are some practical reasons why it is necessary to have some way of doing so.

1) Many wvw guilds only allow members from their own server to join, for obvious reasons. If we can’t tell (and some players won’t know what server they are on), that will become an issue if/when server linkages change.

2) Gw2 server community voice servers often require verification that a person seeking access is on their server, so as to reduce the impact of spies and trolls. These servers will obviously need to come up with a way to allow people from their linked server to have access, but once these links change there will again need to be a way to distinguish who is from which of the linked servers.

I would suggest a means of identifying server be available that is not necessarily obvious, but is available in circumstances such as these without too much effort for guild and TS admins.

To satisfy guild admin requirements it might be handy to incorporate server into the guild panel (if it isn’t already there). For TS admin requirements, perhaps a mouseover message when someone puts a message into squad/party/whisper chat might be suitable.

I’m getting issues also, started in a fractal and led to me being unable to log in on certain characters. May be related to loading into LA. Also an Australian.

At one point character select screen was telling me my ele had 0% map comp when it actually has 100% !

Other Info: Art of Invasion [ART] is a PvX guild based on Gate of Madness (GoM) that is recruiting new and experienced players alike.

While being a PvX guild, ART has a WvW focus. ART strives for a laid back atmosphere to build a community/family where we can help each other to accomplish common goals. Most members of ART are NA, though many of these members not only play NA evening but all throughout the day. We also have a growing contingent of members from other countries, in particular OCX. ART regularly participates in friday night reset as well as guild missions on saturdays as a whole guild. We have members experienced in all aspects of the game and are happy to help setup builds, or explain unclear aspects of the game. In particular, we can offer resources and guidance for anyone interested in learning to command in WvW. ART has an 80% rep policy and having Teamspeak 3(it’s free!) for guild events is expected. You do not have to speak on TS, just be able to hear the event organizer.

We’re looking to expand our community/family for HoT and beyond and hope some of you can find a home here. Some of our members love to engage in some friendly trolling. Reports of GoM’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. We had a few guilds leave and that resulted in a few weeks of decline, but we have since stabilized and have just made it back into T5.

Same problems for GoM in tier 6. Impossible to do anything in wvw.

I support Brazen’s quest for account restoration. As one of the senior officers in her guild I’m well aware of her character and would be extremely surprised if what happened was different to what she has stated.

In addition I will mention I heard reports from guildies of her (online) character being present and acting strangely an hour or so after she had gone to bed for the night. We had stuff removed from the guild bank to which she had some access. The guild bank stuff is not a major issue, but if she has to repeat all the work she had done on building up her characters that would be very disappointing.
