To be totally honest, the OP is exactly the same as most of the people who come on spouting on how the problem “cannot possibly be MY hardware, It’s all Anets fault!!”
Yet how many of these disappear without a trace when advice has been given. You know for a fact what has been suggested has solved the problem but the lack of a response for 90% of these is a little disheartening to the people like yourselves who put time in to try helping others get this game working for them.

I’m sure Anet are sat around right now thinking “meh, let’s not bother eh? Oh, hold on Malediktus wants us to fix. Lets do this!!”

This is from another thread but it shows the resolution that your asking about at a known fps blackspot.
Note: you can probably add on 3-4fps for normal play with Render Sampling set to native.
That’s with 2 × 670 stock cards.

The greyed text just means there are no new replies since you last looked at the thread.

Here is what i get.
1st pic my settings, 2nd one urs.
I’m always interested to see other peoples performance results and compare them to my own.
This is my screen taken from the same place.

No, it never is

And yet many more people play just fine and don’t post on forums.
The engine isn’t perfect by a long shot but the amount of times that blame is laid firmly at Anets door and the problem ends up being at the users end are frequent. There is no question that some problems are down to Anet but without being able to test on every possible configuration of PC they rely on users to give information from both crash logs and troubleshooting steps already taken.
Troubleshooting is a users responsibility, those power supply suggestions that you question are often valid with people updating big-box machines with new graphics cards and other hardware that the original junk PSU isn’t designed for. “I have a 1000w powersupply!!”, “yea, but it only throws out 17A on the 12v rail”, “but…but…1000w!!”
Same with connection issues; wireless noise, isp routing problems and other problems such as for instance isp’s seeing game packets as p2p and throttling automatically are all recent events that have caused frustration for us users.
I don’t personally have many issues with the game, yes I drop to 20-25fps during dragon events for instance while running a very high resolution but generally the game is perfectly playable.
Am I alone in this? I doubt it.

There is indeed an option

Try this link:

It gives a more balanced incite in to frame rates based on resolutions and detail settings, if you still feel you’re suffering low frame rates then maybe add a post to the low FPS thread here:

Chances are he’s exaggerating a little or looking straight at the floor or a wall
If your system is running around the frame rate it should roughly be then you don’t really have an issue.

The way I understand it is that the AH is a subsystem of the game that is basically running like a webpage inside the client which is why the text in the client and the text in the AH are different. I don’t doubt that the style sheet scaling issues are on Anets list of things to do.
I agree it’s an inconvenience but it’s not particularly gamebreaking /shrug

Set your Interface Size to Normal, I’m guessing you have it set to small. That should fix the problem

i dont want to reinstall my drivers…
my drivers are fine (or it has to be fine)… everything else works like a charm…
To be fair, reinstalling drivers is a quick and easy check to perform before delving deeper in to a possible issue
