I would just like to get in a match and kill everyone haha… I have toons that are capable of doing it but I always focus more on winning rather than kills and I end up with like 80 pts at the end of a match lol.
I would really like to see a team deathmatch or even just solo deathmatch.
Capturing points is fun and all, but it would really be nice to just unleash death on other players rather than having to focus on points.
I am sure this has been requested like 500,000 times already though and I heard there as deathmatch in GW1, so idk.
In my opinion, soulbound items are kinda pointless unless it is something like these festival tickets or the kite fortunes. I understand those being soulbound because you want there to be a little bit of a grind.
However, I have a suggestion as far as soulbind on gear if you do not want to remove it completely. There is another game I played that sold an item through their market that would allow you to remove soulbind from one item making it tradeable again. That would be nice to see here.
The other thing is the dungeon tokens. I have so many tokens from dungeons I do not plan to use that I got just from helping friends. It would be amazing if there were a vendor you could swap these tokens in for tokens at another dungeon say at a rate of 4 of yours for 1 of another.
I will contact you in game

Posted this in the middle of the night so kinda fell off the front page before many people got a chance to see.
I really wanna hear people’s feedback with the idea of a dungeon rating system and getting rewarded based on your performance.
I think this would also give a reason to even have endgame gear since right now it is to just look nice more than performance unless you WvW.
You grind to get the armor, so why not use it in the dungeons to fight instead of run? Also, the better you do the more rewards you get, the more you have to carry your team, the more rewards you get.
As long as you hit an enemy, you get credit for it in this game so it isn’t like it would become a competition to start killing everything.
I understand if you put in this system, you would have to cap the player res though so people don’t get to the end and farm revives, but still, I think this would make running dungeons 900% more worth it and fun.
So, I have been enjoying GW2 a lot.. maybe too much, but there are some things I would like to give feedback on.
1. Not to rage or anything, but the camera is probably one of the worst I have used in any game, definitely in any MMO. I think expanding the distance a camera can zoom out or adding a field of view / view depth modifier would help. My main is a grenadier engineer, and it is very hard to select grenades, aim grenades, move around, and control the camera. Also there are a lot of times I cant attack what I want to simply cause I cant get the camera to see it. (It was recommended that I use the quick casting. I have tried this before and while it makes pressing buttons easier, it doesn’t make aiming any easier)
2. I love running dungeons, but it kills my enjoyment when I am with someone who just wants the end reward. I know you guys are changing dungeon rewards and probably already have plans, but my suggestion is to implement a performance rating system on dungeons. It would keep track of kills, how many times you died, reviving allies and reward you based on how you did in the dungeon rather than how quickly you got to the reward at the end.
Again, with these issues, I am still greatly enjoying the game. You guys do a great job, keep it up please and I would LOVE to hear some feedback from you about my suggestions.
Thanks
We do daily events as a guild, if interested, contact an officer.
Crafe can you review the results for Day 2 and the final standings, I think there might be some typos in there.
Day 2 event 1, the champion’s name was right, but the guild attribution is wrong, I think.
The final standings has 3rd place with 18 pts and 4th place with 20 pts. Not sure if the guild names are in the wrong place or what, but if you could review that, I’d be very appreciative.
More than anything I’d like to extend my thanks on behalf of Solemn Dreams [SD] for organizing this whole thing!! We realize this was no easy effort and we had a blast participating. We are excited to hear more about the next Olympics. Maybe ArenaNet would be willing to front some prizes for the next one (hint, hint ArenaNet)?!?!
Hahaha, sorry… was on my last brain cells of the night after the 2 day event… I will fix it.
Final Results have been updated!!!
Congrats to vVv and thank you to all who participated!!
We tied for 5th in the 2013 Summer Guild Games. Not a win, but still a fair showing.
More events coming soon.

Day 1 is in the books, thanks to all those who came out.
I wasn’t calculating the points right during the event.. The results that have been posted are corrected and official results.
Day 2, 12PM Pacific time in Divinity’s Reach
Another Important Update, there will be another event added.
Drinking Tournament
Using the new drinking game with the latest update, there will be a tournament using these tables. Pairings for the tournament will be in reverse order of overall standings.
Points are awarded as follows: 1st – 6pts, 2nd – 4pts, 3rd – 2pts, 4th – 1pt.
This event will be the last event on Saturday.
We have hit the 20 member mark, regular guild events will start being planned, beginning with this weekend’s Guild Games.
If you would like a shot to compete this weekend for our guild then join now!!
Important Update!!!
I cant edit the main post for some reason and there are 2 events I am trying to add:
EbonHawke Hill Climb (1 Participant from each guild)
Contestants will line up at a pre-determined start point and race up the hill. There will be a banner waiting at the finish line and the first to pick it up wins the race. All races will be in 2 rounds – 4 groups of 4 in the first round with the winners facing each other in the final race. NO TELEPORTING of any kind will be permitted. Speed buffs are fine.
Points are awarded as follows: Make it to the finals 2pts. Win the final 4pts.
This will take place after the Wildspine hill climb on Saturday
Doubles Dueling Tournament (1 Participant from each guild)
Will take place on a private sPvP server. Contestants will stand idle while waiting for their duel. Others can spectate. Duel will start on a countdown from 3 and end when both contestant from one team are dead. There is a pre-established boundary that can be crossed accidentally or if pushed out, however blatantly running out of it will result in a DQ. This event will be in single elimination tournament format until the final 4.
Points are awarded as follows: 1st – 6pts, 2nd – 4pts, 3rd 2pts, 4th 1pt.
This will take place after the Singles dueling tournament on Sunday.
It is 1 event at a time, so you can use the same guildies for diff events
Hey, got you added to the list, I will contact you in game as well.
This will probably round out the list of competitors. Was close to 16 before but a lot of guilds couldn’t get the interest so going to go 8 this time around.
If your guild is interested in being a fill-In in case a guild doesn’t show contact me.
Otherwise I will be running this event again in a few months for the fall. I plan to make that one much bigger.
We are approaching our goal of 20 members already so will soon be planning daily events including the upcoming “2013 Summer Guild Games”
Feel free to contact an officer in game if you would like information about what we have planned.
Premier Society is a new guild based on the plan to be active and do things together. Looking for members to build on an already good base of players.
Once we are established we plan to have daily / nightly get togethers to do something as a guild; be it WvW, dungeons, zone completion, guild missions, sPvP, or just b.s.’ing in a starter town.
We are a friendly group and while we do not demand that you participate in our gatherings, we encourage it.
We do ask that members rep our guild primarily, though allow them to guest to other guilds to run guild missions as long as they return when finished.
Please visit our website for more information

Updated: Added a new racing event “Ebonhawke Hill Climb”
Updated a rule in the pvp events regarding boundaries.
Updated a rule to the races stating that no teleportation is allowed. This includes spells, abilities that jump you ahead, and waypoints.
Updated this to show that events will be held on the Fort Aspenwood server which is a North American server.
Thanks Caer, it is too bad SEA won’t be able to make it since EU can’t guest on NA servers though :-/
That’s a shame. :-/
Ha!!! We meet again!!!
I hope your guild has been doing well. Caer, I am going to be contacting you in game about something.

Here are some further details:
What is Guild Games?
Guild Games is an Olympic style event between participating guilds. Guilds compete in events for points which at the end determine who wins.
How many guilds participate?
8 – 16
Do the same people have to participate in an event once they start it?
Yes, before each event competitors must be named. Once they compete, they have to be the one finishing the event. If they are unable to complete the event your guild will forfeit that match-up.
How will Duels happen?
I will make a custom server in the sPvP. There rules will be established to ensure duels can take place.
How will you pair people up for the dueling tournaments?
Tournament seeding will be based off the rankings at the start of the event.
Will there be a prize for winning?
At this point, no. Just bragging rights. Without having a guild hall that can be decorated, there is no way to give a trophy of any sort.
This is an event I ran back in another MMO for a few years and bringing it to this game. I am looking for 16 guilds to compete and will accept more than that as fill-ins incase someone doesn’t show or will expand to 32 guilds if we have enough interest.
I currently have [SD] from Ehmry Bay, [ARMY], [ECHO], [LAWL], [PACT], [PS] and [vVv] from Fort Aspenwood , and [MCG] from Sanctum of Rall signed up. If you would like to have your guild sign up please respond to this post.
If you have questions feel free to ask.

I have Vent, TS, and Mumble.. though prefer to use regular guild chat unless doing WvW cause I play music in the background while doing PvE.
New player but learned quick. I have a 50 Elemental and a 52 Warrior… though I am focusing on an Elemental WvW/dungeon Healer. Won’t take me long to get to 80, been averaging about 10 levels a day.
I have a friend in GOON but when I was in it for a couple days I didn’t notice much going on, if I got the wrong idea please feel free to contact me. I left to start my own guild just to see what it was like but wasn’t serious about building one up or anything.
I seen DICE run a PvE Guild event which I tagged along in for the heck of it. Wouldn’t mind talking with someone from them either..
I do pretty much everything, WvW, World Exploration, Dungeons, even pop on Tarnished Coast for some RP, though I suck at it unless I play barkeep lol.
Anybody else please feel free to contact me with info.
