I think I experienced this but I don’t think it’s a bug. I think it’s common to land near but not close enough.

You have to land quite close to him (I landed on the Nuhock Wallow). Make sure you’re jumping off from that branch opposite, next to the vista. If you land lower down, and need to jump/climb up to him, he doesn’t acknowledge the glide.

I have gliding past him checked off. It’s definitely finished.

I tried everything and he still doesn’t want to talk to me.

I don’t think this is Anet fault. Might have to check with ISP.

For SG users, I am using Starhub. It seems that Singtel & Myrepublic users are doing fine.

Just to add on, the error is indeed gone with VPN. Not sure who’s responsible for this outage.

First I got this error after logging in the game launcher.

Then I tried many time and when I finally launched the game successfully, the game is disconnect due to the same error mentioned in the title.

I’m impressed by how fast and the community team responded and took appropriate actions. Kudos to the whole team!

Hope that such huge oversight won’t happen again in future.

I’ve just encountered this bug. Is there anything that I could do to get past this stage?

Have you completed the personal story?

If you have, the exit isn’t marked, but when you approach the exit (the way you came in) it should prompt you to exit by interacting with the door. I believe Caer Aval is missing this exit, but all of the other instances that I know of should have them.

I’m having the same issue too. It seems to be just this instance after I’ve finished my personal story and went in to exchange for the weapon. There’s no prompt for exit or anything similar.

I love the AOE effects personally.

You can turn off the animations to minimize them too.

It happened to me just now too. I got kicked out of the game twice before reaching the final boss.
