I cannot believe it, THIS IS STILL PERSISTENT, WHY?

I found out that vigil medium leggings sort of clip with some of the boots available. (Whispers boots) I realy love the outfit I’ve just completed for my human female thief t3 head, chest, shoulders, duelist (nika) gloves, vigil pants and whispers boots. This minor clipping problem is the only thing that prevents perfection. So I posted this in hope of the issue being fixed in the future.

So I have decided, that I will buy GW2. But I have a problem and I have some questions about it. My brother bought GW2 a year or so ago. I got my own character (warrior) to lvl 80 and I actually built it up better than his own main character if you ask me . I farmed and spent a lot of time playing my character. We decided to make my warrior Twillight. We already have some mats and some gifts for it. But after that I decided that I’d buy GW2 so we could both play together. Now is it possible that 2 people access that same account at once? Is it possible to trans characters across accounts? I would really appreciate the answers and the time you would have to take. Sry but was runing d/d 1-80 and a bit after it and smashing all the buttons whenever sth is off cooldown and then saying: “Look how much I have to click compared to GS warrior #2” is not fun anymore + if I wanted to play melee I would have rolled a Warrior, but the thing is I hate the 90% of population is Warr/Guardian thingy so thank you but … NO!

Hi, I am gona go straight to the point this time …

I want to know what you guys think of the following things:
a) PvE: Cookie cutter gear combinations on armor+weapons+jewelry (including gems, runes, sigils) Like give me an idea what you are using. (ex.: zerk arm+valk wpns+cavalier jewels)
b) I cant decide between S/D (25 might + Conjure Hammer) build // or S/D (solo dps Fresh air) // or S/F – currently trying out the defensive focus replacement for dagger, since I want to run as much glasscannon as possible
c) Which set of gear would you prefer on female human eli; 1.) Winged crafted, 2.) Arah, 3.) Named exotic, 4.) Feathered Crafted
d) Is there any nice looking focus at all that doesnt get stuck into my robes?
e) Is staff worth a tryout?

You could just try things out with exotics first. If it doesn’t work out you can salvage them for Dark Matter. If you already have the exotics then going to ascended is just more of the same.

I want to skip the exotic trinkets, since I have instant access to amulet + 2 rings through laurels. That’s why I am asking.

Hi, I am a casual player with lots of time and well I have 152 laurels yet I am weary of spending them. I have a level 80 ranger, warrior and elementalist (working towards mesmer and thief 2). My “main” is the ranger however me and my brother decided on building Twilight for the Warrior (its “his” char I dont play it) and are 3 EB POI’s and 1 Vista away from it.

Anyway as I said I have 152 laurels and dont know which trinkets to buy since I equaly like playing the ele and ranger. I mostly do PvE but I want to spend the resources on stats that will benefit me in both PvE and WvW. I havent even tryed anything else than Berserker’s gear on any of the characters so I cant compare the stats, but lets say I like playing the “big shiny numbers” playstyle in every game (yeah, yeah mainstream sheep). However, as I said I am kind of reluctant on spending all the laurels on zerk, if I havent tryed for instance bunker ele. Should I buy cavaliers or soldier trinkets instead? or should I just go with zerk since everyone knows that zerk in PvE gives the best results once you get used to the class?

Bonus question: What about celestial stats for ranger (like shortbow + sword/dagger PvPing to be like a hybrid between condi and insta dmg + some survivability) or full celestial elementalist —> 4 attunements right?

(P.S. I know its just random rambling but I am having 2nd thoughts on spending all the resources on Twilight just to give it on my little bro’s char, which I do not play. I’ve tryed GS ranger and GS mesmer but dont find them strong enough to be using it. Still it’s TWILIGHT should I give GS ranger a 2nd try?)

2.) Celestial ranger/ele worth?
3.) Be a kitten and give Twilight to my main(/alt mesmer in progress)? OR Be “the good guy” and give Twilight to my bro’s Warrior which I despise (though he did kinda contribute to 10-25% of Twilight’s creation)? —> Note that this is my acc and he might get his own in the future and I just know I am gonna regret that Warrior having Twilight, since I hate playing other people’s characters …

Hi there, I am a “casual” player that mostly does PvE in all games, but I realy, realy, realy want to get into sPvP (and WvW once I upgreade my computer). I’ve played some games as ranger and recently I am trying realy hard with elementalist.
I am currently rank 10 and as much as I enjoy hotjoins, they can get realy frustrating and boring cause of the unbalance quite often. Therefore I wonder if I am ready for solo queue, since I am afraid my kitten will get handed back to me on a silver plate and I dont want to screw other people’s matches. So is there some way I could avoid being completely clueless once I enter solo arena?
Any tips are welcome.

And some random jewelry

Currently using Major Force on Sword and Major Accuracy on Horn + Major Bloodlust on LB but will be upgreading to Superior now.

So I thought that Bloodlust on Horn + Force on both Sword and LB would be the best option or is there any better combination?

1. Berserker will always be the best at the current state of the game (for PvE). However you will need to know when to dodge, so if you have problems with survival might want to get Knight’s armor, Berserker’s trinkets first, then slowly work your way to full Berserker when you get good at dodging.

Hi, I just recently lvled up my Elementalist and I have a few questions that are bothering me:

While lvling I was mostly lvling in lower area zones by doing dailies/jumping puzzles/farming I used mostly berserker gear if I could get it, d/d all the way to 80. Once I hit 80 I bought myself some 80 masterwork weapons s/d and still runing full Zerk with some random (I think its soldiers + cleric + zerk) jewelry (most of it for around lvl 50-70).
The problem is that while I was d/d and lvling it was easy for me to get a group of 5-10 mobs fire3+fire4+earth4+earth5 + arcane wave in the middle and kill all those mobs + get 10-12 might stacks I was runing towards 0/20/0/20/30 build and it was easy to maintain perma swiftness + fury + in combat protection/might/regen, but now when I swapped to s/d and hit 80 I get pwned by the same mobs when trying to pull off sth similar (I even got beat up by the 3 starting oozes in Provernic Crypt). I know that I need to get used to the s/d. But is s/d realy that weaker in survivability than d/d?

1. I want to get my 1st exotic set but currently I am not sure if zerker is the best idea for soloing and dungeons that is?

2. I am running 20/30/0/10/10 as Wooden Potatoes is (I know he is more or less BiS geared so I shouldnt compare him to myself). Should I change the traits?

3. (Off-topic – I realy like the Winged crafted set, is there any way of obtaining a lvl 80 version off it so I don’t need to wait 1st for the whole exotic set than use Transmutation Crystals, I figure thats the only way to do it? With buying gems?)

4. I am starting to do some sPvP, I realy enjoy it but I only know what to expect from the 2 classes I own at lvl 80, ranger and elementalist. I was hoping for some tips on what to be weary off against other classes (what to dodge).

Dont know about this, I have an 80 ranger, 80 warrior, 36 thief, 12 mesmer and 51 elementalist and I must say that with the build I have and d/d (occasionaly scepter or staff), elementalist lvling has been by far the best and the most fun experience in this game.
I am runing towards 25 air, 20 arcana, 20 water build that resolves around auras, burst and boons and its a blast, I have imba sustain through water 0-100% hp in 2-4 sec, constant 4 boons up, can stack might to 15 stacks solo, have almost 100% uptime on swiftness and the mobility + survivability I have with using arcane blast, arcane bolt and movespeed signet as my utilities (meaning full aggro) is just so much fun to play with. Oh and the healing signet is great if you spam all your skills.

The only thing you need is speed, switching through attunements and moving around.

(P.S. I can AoE + kite most groups regardless of the quantity of enemies + solo any champion I have encountered so far.)

All is said in the topic. I realy cannot come up with a single reason why spirits should not be immune to all dmg. Maybe then they would actualy be fun to use?

Since we all know that rangers complain about keeping pets alive, I mean if you have 4 more units that need to stay alive its just pure madness, forget about your own attacks … just keep your whole “party” alive (mission impossible anyway).

Edit: I am asking the above question in all seriousness, and the traiting for invulnerability seems like a great idea, thank you for bringing it up.

I have been searching for 3 days now for a group for Citadel of Flame path 1 and no results. How can a newbie ever start doing dungeons if there are only fractals of high levels that ppl farm. I am playing on Gandara and even my guildies dont seem to be interested in doing CoF1 …

I wonder where can I even start learning how to do dungeons if there is no opportunity for me whatsoever?

Hi, yesterday I have leveled my first char to level 80 and I am looking for some ground marks what to aim for now. My letherworking is cca. 200 (other proffessions are 1 or huntsman 50). I have done CoF and TA story modes and I like sword+axe/shortbow with 20/20/0/0/30

I would like to get some groundmarks on which traits, gear combos, farming tips, what to aim at early after hitting 80 … what utility combos work fine with the upper build and any useful tips in general concerning the ranger class.

Both are decent, however I dont find Celts in any relation with Sylvari (I usualy love Celtic names), but considering the fact that the names are unique, they mean something and are pleasant to speak out. I give you 8/10

My newborn Sylvari mesmer is named Silva Aeternalis – as someone before mentioned “Sylvari usually have 2 vowels consecutively in some part of their name”, I followed the rule at least in the lastname. The meaning is as follows, Silva: growth, forest, wood
and Aeternalis: eternal, everlasting.

So the combined meaning is something like “Growth Eternal”/“Everlasting Growth”

Huge lore fan of any fantasy game, especialy from Blizzard so you get a 9/10 since the name is awesome (Tassadar being 1337), however the -1 goes for it not being so unique sorry.

Female Guardian – Siobhan Wyvern
(pronunciated Shi-vaun for those unfamiliar with it, I just love the name … its irish for christs sake! ^^ and the surname Wyvern, meaning a legendary winged beast, similar (but not necesarily) to a drake, somehow represents the hot-blooded temper of the family, wyverns have been used as heralds in human history and I find it a suitable name for my feisty guardian wearing her fiery coloured family plate)
