yup, having the same issue. I’ve been playing earlier today and had no probs. This just came up. It is impossible to connect to the game server.

btw i did not notice any changes in my connection

since i’m not making legendary and probably never will (ain’t got time, got a job and a kid) i have to satisfy myself with sword and dagger skin. Only ones i saw that i like are tempest ones. Due to the reasons stated above i cannot afford them…so i’m asking anyone who can afford any of those… or have one, to send it my way and i will take SS and post it here so you know that i’m using that skin and not selling it.

out of these guardians only handfull are sticking to the “guardian” theme…. rest are going for bad/devil/dark angel of death 666 thingie….come on guys.

however, there are some sick looking guardians

i would suggest for you guys (at least those who think that new prof. is possible) to read GW books and look for possible new classes. If i would have to random guess, it would be Dervish from gw1…goes along with lore.

Reason why sylvari aint risen: have you ever saw zombie plant, dude you cant make plant go zombie…you can make it salad tho but not zombie.

THIS is what i love about GW. On first glimpse you could think that hammers are ugly as a Quasimodo, but once you google a bit you can see that there are some kick * hammers in game, you just need to work for those. A bit of exploring, a bit of transmuting, a bit of grinding (if you are type to craft Mjolnir for example) and you can have awesome hammer. THAT is difference between GW and rest mmos, if you wanna look tough you need to work for it.

great post mate. I fully enjoy playing my guardian now. Have to say that i didn’t belive the difference that knight’s set made to my survivability. I prefer this surv set over to zerkers…it suits guardian as class more

Do you have any toughts about Karaka’s shell (if that’s correct name, cant check i’m at work atm) and stats it gives, is it worth having. I had some sick toughts about going with shell and triforce pendant, but before i act i would like to hear your toughts on it.

here is my tought:

first of all i play elementalist and i’m lvl 80. Keep in mind that i have played this game during beta and i have played pretty much all classes.
Bottom line – i LOVE ele, it’s freakin’ awesome. Dont get me wrong by me saying this, most of elementalist issues comes from lack of elementalist gameplay knowledge. Elementalist is glass cannon i.e. it has HIGH dmg and very LOW surv if you dont know how to use it (not saying that you dont know but hey…). You really need to use ALL attunements in order to bring your ele to max potential. Other thing, why to hell you using toughness/vit gear???? I got my elel to 80 and still playin full power/precision/crit dmg gear…..mobs tend to die before they can reach me, and even if they do there is allways earth atunement with 2 sweet ccs and lightning atunement also with 2 ccs. Ele, if executed properly, is unbeatable even vs more then 2 creeps on you.
Someone said, and was right, what you cant kill instantly you can allways kite.

Basicly, my pointers are:

- get high power/precision/crit dmg (berserker’s) items
- use ALL attunements
- kite if needed
- in dungeons wait for someone else to start fight and try to hit only one creep at the time if you dont know how to avoid getting hit
- if all else fails you got 2x dodge (with traits in air you can have endurance refiling faster while you channel your “1” in lightning = more dodge)
- dont bother and dont waste money on toughness/vit gear ( had to stress this one!)
