Mesmer Downed Ability “Deception”
Creates a downed clone at your location and teleports you slightly. About half the time, this teleport moves you out of range, so downed skills one and three become useless, however the mobs still seem to be in range to finish you off. Teleport location needs to be adjusted or range of downed skills needs to be increased. (Teleporting you away from action so you could use skill four to heal yourself would be OK, except once your clone is down, you’re back to square one noted above.)

Make Mini Pets usefull – Add a slot in the character so we can put a Mini pet in. If we could rename or even customize it, it would be great and probably would increase mini-pets sales.

I know mini-pets are collectibles, but if I place one in my bag, I want to keep it there. When “Deposit all Collectibles” is used, all pets return to the bank. That means you have three choices:
1) never use the mass deposit option, but go through and individually right-click each deposit;
2) run back to the bank after each mass deposit to recollect your pet;
3) never use a pet to begin with, just leave them as a collection in your bank;

I don’t like any of those options. I want to have a pet that stays with me. Could we get the “Deposit all Collectibles” to be ‘…all collectibles but pets?’ The title doesn’t need to change, just the action. I want to purchase more pets, but am holding off for the time being. Knowing that I will loose access to my pet every time I leave city limits (because of managing inventory) greatly reduces the attractiveness of making any further purchases.

Pine is not a hard wood

This is not a game breaker, but I was quite startled when I chopped down a pine sapling and got hard wood (pine is a soft wood). I don’t mind imaginary monsters, but this seems to be more a case of mismatched research than stretching the imagination, and temporarily interrupts game immersion. Once the big kinks are worked out, may be they could rename the tree to an actual hard wood tree for crafting purposes? For me proper use of language in dialog, letters, and naming conventions is as beautiful a part of the game as graphics or creative questing opportunities, of which GW2 has in abundance.

Can we also make it so that Ranger pets keep their names? It’s frustrating when you name your Pig Sir Francis Bacon, but the next time he’s summoned, he’s just Juvenile Pig once more.

THIS x 1000 please! It’s a quality of life issue but very annoying. I realize this is probably far down on the list of things to fix, though.

Even though it’s probably a low priority, I hope this does receive some attention. When I was playing another class I always wondered why rangers didn’t seem to be very creative in naming (everyone was running around with a Juvenile _ _ , named exactly as tamed). With a ranger of my own, now I know why. It’s very frustrating to name a pet, only to have that name disappear on shuffle. I read somewhere else about database size concerns; but in a game this complex, surely a little item like name permanency wouldn’t overload the system.
