The simple fact that you have points in chaos and are using Greatsword immediately makes this not the best build for pve, unless you can explain how a low dps weapon and redundant traits are good for a pve build?

I can attest to this builds effectiveness as i was duo’ing with my bud here taking on peeps in 3v2’s and some sweet 2v2’s
On an unrelated rant;
The counter attack when used on human males (idk about other race/genders) isnt a kick… its a swordslap… stab it in the ground and kick away the opponent like the human females do..
Yeah so i was wondering if there are any tourny build out there tht use LB after the new patch, i wna put together a build tht will be aptively named the hunter for pvp and WVW tht focuses on ranger escape mechs, the new LB stealth <3 and bursting whilst being able to maintain around 3k toughness
Its made for WVW havoking/ solo roaming and haven’t tested it in PVP or WVW its just theory crafting atm but ill be testing it ASAP!! keen for feed back or other fellow rangers to test
The ranger class itself has lower DPS in terms of crit output/damage in relation to other classes. I would suggest that you switch some of your gear E.g your armour for knights as you would keep ur crit chance up with decent crit damage whilst gaining a chunk of tougness which will help ya survive longer :P
No videos! It’s great if you like the playstyle, though (which most of the bow-loving masses on this forum don’t). I can almost always win even fights, and it’s capable of outrunning/catching pretty much anything in terms of mobility. The major weakness is condition builds, but even they can only usually fight it to a draw.
Pretty much depends on if you like melee and can live with the inherent disadvantages of having no ranged options beyond your pet.

I HATE THOSE PEOPLE!!! ranger can bring so much more to a party than alot of the other classes.. and yet… hey lets make a full zerker party and get wiped by one aoe from a boss. Just wait for a while and my comment will be forum attacked… and people say rangers complain for no reason….
SO as the title says im looking to make A new ranger build for PVP and WVW that gives the name ranger justice, with help from my fellow rangers of the world! So post some builds below so we can all get started on making the ranger suitable for its title, PVP and WVW!
This build is exactly what ive been rolling since i first got GW2; The only question i have is what other pets would you consider using Valroth? Keeping the feline and canine set up of course :P
