ughh im quitting this game after pvp. so frustrating. Just had an argument with an annoying guy and I lashed out. Will most likely get banned anyway.

I am sick to death of getting paired with idiots. The opposite team had all 3 points. I was fighting 3 of their team members (i am a bunker build) so lasted a fairly long time for my team to at least cap some areas. they capped nothing during this time and i must have bene fighting for a good few minutes.

I get called a pve noob and that i suck because I was fighting 3 pepople away from their point. Although i have only been playing for 2 months, i have only levelled my character through pvp and not explored any of the worlds, dungeons. I am far from a noob. I know to fight on point…. but when its their cap…. the opposite is true.

After, when we finally capped something, I’m the only one fighting on point and defending. by this time most my team are afk. I will prob get banned for some of the things I said after getting called a noob. But this anger has been built up after countless of pairing errors and I cannot take this game seriously any more. The pairing system makes me way to short tempered. I know I can never get away from abusive players but these arguments can be prevented by appropriate pairing.

I will possibly return when a new system is in place.

luckily this time i was on the winning team but its frustrating for the loosing team loosing this badly. its not even close.

so ive been playing pvp for a good month now and this map wants me to quit the game altogether. Im not the best at pvp so i welcome tips on this map as a necromancer.

I cant go to the skyhammer as I will ALWAYS get knocked off. My last game I went to the edge to be met with an engineer that knocked me down within a few seconds. That happened 5 times and so I afk’d as it seemed there wasnt much I could do, and will continue to do so until I can be competitive (so I welcome advice)

I’m a MM so I dont have the knockbacks that other classes have. The Minions have pathing problems on this map too so my damage output isnt the greatest.

im a noob…. only played it near the start for a short while but circumstances prevented me from playing it.

anyway… ive rolled a necro MM…. and im killing everyone easy. Someone said that the staff is useless? Im suprised by that as its my main wepon. Get flesh golem to charge drop all your marks on the persons location… loads of damage and loads of life force.

i have to admit…. as a newish returning player… who didnt reach 80 before… and now playing as a necro… skyhammer is my worst map.

i dont even bother going into the centre with the laser thing…. i may aswell give the team points, as i have no knockbacks. Additionally, my minions have to work around the stair maze to follow me so i loose most of my damage / skills

I’m fairly new to the game…. i played it near release but circumstances prevented my from playing it much.

anyway… after coming back… i thought there would be somewhat decent players on pvp. i know its not tournaments or anything… but seriously… cap points kittenmit! i swear people just run around the maps for giggles.

and when i find myself in a situation where its 3 or 4 vs me…. i try and held the opposing team for as long as possible. being a necromancer and can survive long enough for my team to cap the points. but nope… i practically fight all there team members and they still have all 3 points.

this isnt nerd rage btw im just interested in learning what the hell people do in pvp.

well can someone recommend be a decent competetive pvp build?

I was so excited for this game when it release but i picked the dud class and because I can only play part time fell behind everyone in my guild as i didnt have time to level another character.

I’m pretty annoyed with the necromancer. It was by far the weakest. It can barely do any damage no matter if you do a condition build or a minion build. Anyway, after returning 6 months down the line, its become even worse!

Now i know im not the best player, and I admit that I can improve my skills in many ways in this game. But for the love of god please do something with the necro. People on here will say ’it’s fine just play better’…. well there is a reason that 90% of the players are either warriors or guardians.

PVP has become a stun haven and now the necro cannot do anything. Against a Engineer, I spend the majority of my time stunned or on the floor and by the time I do some damage I am also KO’d. Yes I can use death shroud etc…. but by this time I am prolonging my death and not turning the battle around..

To be honest i think I’m about to. I’m one of those people that only really rolls one character and likes to stick to it. However, with the state of the necromancer im absoloubtly devastated that I’ve leveled a class to 60 thats essentially kitten.

i know people will argue maybe its me, but i assure you, there is a reason why 5 percent of the playerbase plays this class. add to the fact i went straight into pvp with a guardian and pwnd everyone with not knowing anything about the class and just button mashing.

If i had levelled another class / profession, i would probablly have stayed cus otherwise its a good game, but as ive levelled the dud class, i just cannot be bothered to do it all over again.

correct me if im wrong, but does anyone see this problem with the necro. I wouldnt say the condition control is huge (not bad but not great either) and neither is the damage.

Now obviously, i dont want to transfer a bleed or two because it wouldnt be worth it. wouldnt i be better off waiting for more bleeds to stack up before i transfer them? meaning, im having to sit there taking damage (and dealing a bleed or two from myself) until there is a decent amount of bleeds to transfer.

i dont want to transfer early and wait for the ability to cool down again.

frustrating….. it seems like every MMO i play, i always seem to pick the dud class. Nothing changed in this game. I guess thats just my luck. Still, at least with most games i can still compete, even if i try really really really hard.

This has not been the same for me with the necro however. i have tried all the builds… and i just cannot compete. In sPVP as a conditionmancer I am popping up all my skills at relevant times, transferring and converting boons and conditions and what not, entering death shroud and still no luck. I am literally giving it all i have got. Rangers should be easy to fight against as they give loads of bleeds. Should be simple to transfer them back… nope… i still die!

I never played GW1, but i researched the class i wanted to play from the get go on GW2, and was instantly drawn to the necro. Throughout all the betas, and up until the yesterday, i only played the necro, i never even touched other classes. Well yesterday i rolled a guardian, looked up a build on the forums and as soon as i could started playing sPVP.

Admittedly, i just started keyboard mashing because I could not be bothered to read what the attacks do.The worst thing is…. I was face rolling everyone and getting 5x more kills then i ever did as a necro.

When i look back, i still think i was pretty skillful with my necro. With this class i had to keep an eye on my life force, conditions, cool downs, and other players boons to even come anywhere near beating someone down. With the guardian, i did not of that and still won. I must point out again….

I BUTTON MASHED WITH A GUARDIAN AND WON 9/10 1v1’s!

I like the necro because it is a complicated class but there is absolutely no reward for playing one.

i hope to get some sort of comensation for this as if i knew i would have had to wait over 6 days i wouldnt have purchased them. im not expecting something big… but a gesture of good will wouldnt go amiss

Hello. i have been able to purchase gems. However i bought items with them 6 days ago and still not recieved any of them. The gems were taken off me right away though. I have now left to incident reports.
