Loving the client so far just have a couple of small annoyances to mention:

1) Before this client I always played on the highest resolution available (full screen) and the smallest interface possible too. With this client I noticed only 2 full screen options and neither one actually differs from the other as far as I can tell. And in both I’m stuck with unreasonably large interfaces because the small one is still way too large. (Screenshot will show some of this issue)

2) As I played in fullscreen a lot I noticed early on that using ‘Command + Enter’ would exit fullscreen, this seems to have been disabled.

Will continue playing with it and report any bugs I happen to run into.

Still looking for 1-2 players with availability for at least 5 days.

Are you tired of spending over 30 mins on your t4 fractal dailies? And getting a bunch of necros who can’t do damage and somehow can’t survive? If so, look no further, our group is looking for 1-2 members to fill our 5th spot and/or substitute on other days.

A little about us: we are a group of friends run our fractals everyday 15 mins after the daily reset. Due to busy lives, some of our members have left us so we need to find 1-2 people to fill spots. We complete all t4s of the day in between 21-28 mins. We have fun figuring out how to improve our times in all fractals so we are looking for like minded people to join us (and really, able to think and adapt). If you think that is you, read up on the requirements below and shoot a mail to Daniele.2064 (or Danitta) in game if interested in being trailed.

Requirements:
- Infinite Mist Omnipotion (or, the Permanent Offensive/Defensive/Mobility ones, as long as it’s all 3);
- Food and utility according to your class. Doesn’t need to be max, but needs to be appropriate, not necessarily expensive (meaning no magic find, karma, or useless foods). Examples of appropriate food: for power builds – seaweed salad, tins of fruitcake / for condi builds – super veggie pizza, tuning icicles.
- Available for at least 5 days of the week;
- Willing to use discord, at least for the duration of all fractals, but if you want to hang with us too, great;
- At least 2 classes (no necro) max geared with 150 AR and meta build;
- Excellent to perfect knowledge of DPS rotations on your preferred classes;
- Able to adapt!!!! (can’t stress this enough). If something doesn’t go according to plan we want someone with more brainpower than a robot who just continues to press buttons in a rotation instead of doing what they need to.

Bonus:
- Knowledge of the current speed run strats for fractals. We are willing to teach them if you don’t know. But in the meantime if you want to study up on them I can provide links.

Anyone that applies will have up to 3 days of daily fractals with us while we test your knowledge of fractals, encounters and mechanics as well as your dps. Since we are primarily a group of friends who enjoy playing that kind of content together compatibility with the group will be important to us too.

If you meet the requirements, go ahead and send me a mail in game so we can schedule your first day to trial. If you think we are being too serious about fractals then don’t waste both of our times.

a friend just tried the being logged out for 10 minutes to reset parties/squads and it worked for him. Just wanted to post that it’s working for some people.

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but someone needs to teach my little asuran druid how to hold a staff… she is holding it like her greatsword, and I’ve seen my asuran ele hold it properly.

I’m the same as Apex for now. Haven’t had any trouble logging in to my toons this morning and now the GW 2 site and wiki which I wasn’t able to access for over a week are both back to normal.

This can be completely unrelated to this issue though.

If you get around this problem using a VPN service, then this is clearly an issue with your ISP lacking network neutrality. I’d then recommend unsubscribing from your current ISP for disrupting network neutrality and change to an ISP who upholds and wards network neutrality.

You do know your ‘suggestion’ is absurd, right?

Let’s start with the simple fact that until a couple of weeks ago, everyone who posted on this thread hadn’t had any connection problems. What, did of our ISPs just change their policies?

Or you know, the simple fact, that if this really was ISP related, it would be affecting games that aren’t from NCSoft as well.

And, on the subject of net neutrality. My country has passed a law in the start of this year that says all ISPs need to maintain net neutrality. Changing my ISP would change squat in this subject. It might resolve my error, and if I was the only player being affected by this connection error I could consider such a drastic thing. But I’m not, and this makes the ‘suggestion’ sound even more absurd.

I’ve posted in this thread before, I was having a lot of problems last Sunday when all my 80s where stuck with this error and I could only play my low levels.

On monday morning I logged in and the game was fine, could log in with all my stuck characters and wp them out of the problematic map. At night I got stuck, yet again. Rinse and repeat for the whole week. Except that both yesterday and today I haven’t been unstuck overnight.

I’ve tried almost all the suggestions on this thread, I’ve rewetted router, changed my computer’s DNS, my router’s DNS and no result. Tried resetting the clients prefs (or the mac client equivalent of that), and nope, no result as well. Removed all my saved ips from my account, no result. Right now, I’m writing this and getting unstuck by using my phone’s 3G connection since that seems to be fine. I just can’t really play the game in such a slow connection but I can log in long enough to wp toons and hope I didn’t wp them to a problem map.

Something that may or may not be related to this problem is that I can’t load the GW2 websites at all, but can all other websites. It takes over 5 minutes of constant refresh for a page to even show, where as on my phone it all loads normally.

So, any suggestions? I want to fix this so I can enjoy the game again without holding my breath every time I change toons or maps.

The error started this morning (about 8-9 hours ago), started with really long loading screens (over 4 minutes and not getting in) until I lost patience and closed the game, managed to get into the map when logging back in, after 3-4 chance of maps I started getting that same error.

Maps I have not been able to get in since the error: Blazeridge Steppes and Lion’s Arch
Maps I have been able to get in since the error: Divinity’s Reach, Dry Top, Sparkfly Fen and Queensdale, SBI Borderlands

I also currently have two characters I can’t access at all due to this error since they are parked in Lion’s Arch.

And, if this is relevant at all, I’m on a mac.
