My issue is still occurring. Ive tried just about everything. Any help or solutions? Or is this gw2 game issue?

Hey I have a Radeon HD 5800 series and the game no longer has the same fps as it used to. Did gw2 remove optimization for lower HD cards now? Ive tried older drivers and the lastest as well. nothing is working.

Previously I had around 60+fps on autodetect settings
80+ on best performance
30+ on best appearance

Now I am lucky to get 30 on best performance. The game was working fine last Sunday. The issue occurred on Monday. Whats going on? Ive tried everything on my end

Whether the price is too much or too less veteran players arent happy. Why would they be? They will always get the short end of the stick. There will be a point where it crosses the line and veteran players leave. Anet will realize this eventually when the game goes back go $9.99. the community will become much smaller with only hardcore fans and a toxic attitude. GG Rip GW2

While the price point does not bother me much I think that there is absolutely no incentive to pre-order anytime soon as there is not even a release date announced yet.
Even the closed beta does not have any dates set as of now and for all I know HoT could release in spring 2016.

Furthermore there is not much information available regarding the content of HoT and, I have to say, it does not look like it is much from what I have seen until now.
Three new areas, guild halls and a bunch of specializations sound like a content patch and not like a proper expansion to me, especially when compared to the GW1 expansions.

There will be a price later on for ONLY expansion. However Anet needs money now for beta etc. As a past gw2 beta player many years ago I will be waiting for the price. If its core + expansion only after release ill wait for prices to lower….like $9.99?lol

1. Most people in this world live on laptops which gw2 eats apart
2. Personal Story gets boring
3. Leveling gets even more boring seeing how you got so many 80 toons
4. Dungeons are a snooze
5. RNG
6. Spvp needs more different match styles. i.e team deathmatch/capture flag
7. Skins are expensive as hell unless your just lucky. no skill or time.
8. No guild halls
9. No GVG
10. Classes arent really balanced (rangers wars mesmers)
11. Skins are horrible on some classes compared to another
12. Living story can be a drag i.e Scarlet…(what happened to dragons thats on every gw2 logo?)
13. Everything thats pve is related in WvW or sPvP somehow.
14. AP chests really arent that rewarding for how much time and money you already put in the game. Plus AP in general seems pve revolved.
15. Crafting is a gold sink and hassle
16. Ascended armor is a gold sink and hassle lol (much like fracs high level)

Im going to add more to the list as i think of it. Or as i see other people complain lol

they need more skins in this game.

There is no right or wrong answer it really just depends on build or what your focusing on. Thats my point.
I could see the runes of mesmer of thief useful…the other ones arent that amazing.

I play sPvP on a daily basis. I am actually quite good at it.

I mostly soloQ in teamQ so as to avoid Skyhammer and get better rewards, occasionally mixing in a few skrimishes to get the daily caps.

But I have to admit to myself that I do all this solely for the achievement points.

It’s not that I don’t enjoy PvP. I do actually, and have done in all MMOs I’ve ever played.

But sPvP in GW2 is just so generic, boring, and at times, frustrating that I cannot associate any memorable qualities with it. Any e-sports ambitions this game seems to have are absolutely misguided in my book because sPvP is the least attractive aspect of GW2 by a long shot.

5 years from now when people look back at the game, no one will remember it for the sPvP. Instead the dynamic events, the large scale PvE and the occasionally pretty epic WvW will dominate our impressions of the game.

sPvP on the other hand, the best thing about that is probably the lobby.

So what prompted me to write this? Well frankly I think much more attention should be given to balancing classes and gear in WvW than there currently is. ANet seems to be much more sensitive and conservative about changes in sPvP when this is the least attractive part of the game. It also has the smallest player-base and the least amount of content.

Why not apply the same amount of rigor to balancing WvW, i.e. content that a large number of players actually enjoy for hours each day, content that is unique to GW2 and probably the most memorable part of the game?

Why pursue some sort of misguided e-sports ambitions in a game who’s combat isn’t deep enough and who’s mechanics don’t have the properties to make the game enjoyable for an audience to watch.

GW2 mechanic’s simply don’t make it attractive for sPvP. Accept that and focus your attention on stuff that GW2 does reasonably well. And for the vast majoritythat is WvW.

You could find a small guild easily in BG. The bigger ones will probably want an 80 though lol its a friendly server for the most part who will help! having ts3 always makes things easier too

They just need to implement a GvG system already. Maybe one day EOTM will be that…otherwise i see no point of EOTM

I agree with MAD actually. Just reroll the story and do it again with the new race. If not that then maybe at least let chars wear all types of gear skins. Not just one type.

I agree with the no skill towards pve in this game. The zerker gear stack on bosses is just the fastest way and unless they change all dungeons completely(which they wont because would take too long and too many complaints). Fracs take too long for what you get at the very end. And As far as the legendary you cant really complain much…its just a skin and thats pure gold right there no matter what…Always will be.

Really great relaxed leaders here! People from all over. A real official TS3 and website that most guilds ive been in never have…ever! WvW is very active in this guild. There are also many guild events including prizes. Longest guild ive been in so far with gw2. Been here since about September and love it =) very friendly and helpful guild
