Now, with that behind. You won’t miss much, if not anything if you raise a human instead of a charr and the reverse is also true. The racial skills merely matter and will perhaps fill a gap if you want to kill time, and in PvP those skills aren’t even present, so. By all means, keep going with your human if you feel better with it.

The charr supporters are simply here for lore reasons on the engineer’s current equipment.

Why LORE (idk exactly what it is) matter ?

I wanted most fun character to play, so I start with engineer. You guys, really think that ultimate engineer should be Charr Race ? It looks weird for me through.. I really get confused because Idk what can happen in endgame because this, farm is part of the game too. Now I am human engineer, but I don’t want to feel in disadvantage in contrast with Charr engineer when playing. Now really, I don’t like cats, so this is a little problem with esthetics but you tell me if I shall start Charr engineer or continue with human engineer (it is still low level) for ultimate character, I am that type that focus on 1 powerful character and spend all money for 1. Please tell me all possible things that I should know when leveling engineer. Thanks.

As everyone else stated, race is irrelevant for pvp as you can’t use racial skills. HOWEVER, for pve, if you are considering using a static discharge build then I would go with a charr. Their racial skill ‘hidden pistol’ has an extremely powerful tool belt skill that works really really well for that build. To the best of my knowledge, no other race has any racials worth while.

I wanted a character that is deadly in PVP, how I hear, the most complex and fun, with most flexibility character is engineer so I started to play it a few days ago and now I am lvl 10+ .

About race. I just saw that Charr race have some good attack skills like rockets for example and I was thinking that they are important bonus to engineer grenades and bombs, correct me if I am wrong.

P.S. I really want to play engineer, I am engineer (ironically) my self and I like complex style of gameplay. And I really think when playing, that to be a good player on server, if Human race don’t give me anything like an engineer and it is worth the difference to play Charr engineer please tell me, I am a noob but someday I will not, will be sad if my race would be a wrong one from the begining. THX

Racial skills are by design not intended to make a difference in game choices. So your human engineer is just fine.

Where are you at? I’d suggest hanging out in Queensdale and Divinity, mapping and doing hearts and events. You can go through the portal in Divinity and get to Lion’s Arch, and then to the other racial cities and do those starter zones as well. All low level.

Everything gives experience: mapping, events, hearts, harvesting nodes (plants, trees, ore), POI’s (point of interest), vistas. Do it all.

Do the personal story (follow the guide, top-right of your screen) when you feel comfortable.

How is your gear? If usable pieces for level 10+ aren’t dropping, look for vendors (sword or shield icon) to update/fill out missing pieces.

1. HI ! I’m lvl 11 now in game, I choose to play with Engineer race Human. I found on internet that some people talk about racial skills about I wasn’t aware at the moment of character creation. Is race Charr singnifically better for engineers than Human and why/how ? It is really worth to play with those weird creatures in purpose to be a very capable class player ?

P.S. How to level faster in game, because I die a lot and Ai units that need to be killed for mission sometimes are very few and it takes long for me to finish it, idk much about engineer kits and leveling.
