Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone I haven’t played since the start of the year really, and was thinking about getting back in. One thing that really bothered me about this game however was the tele-hacking or whatever it was with bots porting to the resource nodes. Has this been fixed yet?

Should be coming today yes…unfortunately it’s on the same day that Bioshock Infinite is out….so no GW2 for me today

There’s a heart quest in Mt. Maelstrom that transforms you into a risen to fight the krait. Every since then I’ve wanted to make a risen. Please don’t flame for being like the undead in WoW, I just think it would be cool.

Couldn’t agree more! I have no interest in joining a guild with 100’s of people where nobody has a real identity and everyone is just a mindless drone. OK I know that’s not always the case but I just can’t bring myself to join a guild that spams chat and accepts anyone for no reason. I guess I’ll miss out on guild bounties and such…but all well.

I’m going to guess that this ‘other game’ is a certain 8 year old game that people still pay to play every month… I agree though there’s no going back after GW2 for me either, in fact, I wont ever pay a monthly fee to play an MMO again!

I have 6 max level characters and more on the way and I can say without a doubt that more characters equals more income. Dragon chests for every character, tokens for dungeons for every character and the daily chest in fractals for every character. Without a doubt having alts makes a difference if you’re willing to put in the time.

Edit: I suppose with some of those examples they don’t mean more income, but a much easier time gearing up characters.

How are you getting 300% anyway? I’ve got full exo MF gear with the luck sigil, 5 pirate runes, 1 noble rune, the ascended neck with the 20% infusion…and even still couldn’t reach 300% even with food and the booster. Regardless I’ve been using MF often since launch and I’ve noticed after many months now that I don’t really get more rares/exo’s than normal…however I DO get a lot more crafting materials than normal.

Edit: I see now, max with gear can reach 167% and effects can reach 155%…I didn’t realized the MF booster and the Laurel booster stack.
