I’d love an inspect option which pulled up the forum post history and if there was any posts regarding mounts, DPS meters or capes, etc. I could immediately know and not group with that person.
Seconded. A horrible option that’s been gone over many, many times.
The horse is dead, we can stop beating it now.
I will if they announce that they’re working on how poorly the game uses multiple CPU cores.
“Role Check!” sounds boring… I’d rather personally have “Gear Check!”.
I’d rather anyone who wants to check gear go back to WoW.
People need to stop with the “grow a thicker skin” and just read the TOS
This. Something may not personally offend me, but if I believe that it’s against the ToS I will report it.
A-net deals with this sort of inappropriateness quite firmly, which is good. If they start letting things slide, people will just continue to push the boundaries. The rules are the rules, and why something may not offend me, I think it’s important to safeguard these things for people who may take it personally.
Yep, exactly. I report anything I see that’s against the rules, regardless of how I personally feel about it. Any online community (game, forum, etc) that doesn’t enforce its rules goes right down the toilet. I don’t want to see that happen with GW2.
Dragonhunter is the “no brain, high reward” class now. So go for DH.
I played thief before and i was shocked when i changed to DH. I dont know why anet allows such class imbalances. Thief is “high skill, low reward” class atm. This differences shouldn’t exist in an esport game.
It’s only an e-sports game in the developers heads.
I see you’re complaining about the complaining.
People should be able to name themselves whatever, and talk about whatever. If people don’t want to see it, just block or turn off the chat that person is on. It saves you time and hassle, as well as anet by not reporting things like this…
And if you don’t want to follow the rules that you agreed to follow to play GW2, you can not play GW2. Any game/community that doesn’t enforce its rules goes down the toilet.
The Reaper shouts don’t sound menacing like I imagined they would. I love the Reaper, but my Sylvari Reaper shouting “your soul is mine” sounded like he was asking permission.
I understand that we’re supposed to be good guys and everything, but it just sounds pathetic. Maybe just a voice filter or something? Even an optional one?
Thoughts?

All they really need to do, imo, is make all the hero points able to be done by one person alone.
entitled
toxic
When people start throwing those words around, it’s my signal to stop listening. People have explained over and over why the things you mentioned don’t belong and, apparently, ArenaNet agrees with them since those things aren’t in the game.
Why elite spec reqs DON'T need to be changed

I just want ArenaNet to let me solo all the hero points. That’s it. The one and only change I want them to make to HoT.
Edit: Not saying I don’t want them to be challenging, that’s great. I just want the option to solo them.

Of course there will always be people pushing “the meta.” But those are just stupid people being stupid. I play what’s fun for me.
Nope, no damage meter of any kind. I’ve already seen what it does to a game (WoW) and if they add one here, I quit. Instantly. Without hesitation.
Did you try switching the bottom trait line to Reaper? I think you can only use that one.
I love the new content and pretty much everything in HoT BUT the hero points I need a group for. That’s just frustrating and ridiculous.
Angry Joe couldn’t bring me to water if he dropped me in the ocean. Forget him. I started playing because of official info and playing the beta.
