Yep, all the dailies.
0 Ascended drops
0 (Gold) Fractal drops (but I’ve never had one pre-HoT either, so there’s that).
Guess the game really doesn’t like me then.
Greetings,
Does anyone know if the fractal droprates are bugged or anything?
I’ve been running fractals since HoT release, finished Unbound (still waiting for the recipe to unlock) and I have yet to get a single ascended box, I’ve never really had a thing for rng, but this is just plain stupid.
Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah I recently (partially) did a Vb event train and crashed at around tier 3 and lost all progress =w=.
But things are patched now? Don’t really feel like trying because I’m afraid I’ll just waste my time again.
Thanks for the help

Nice, thanks for the help!
I accidentally lost my town clothes tonic by deleting one of my characters (I think, atleast) and I was wondering if there is some way to get those back?

Sometimes my game just exits without even giving an error or anything like that, just poof gone. Does anyone know what kind of error this is?
I was playing for quite a while I think, so if it was one of those memory problems I’ll keep that in mind for next time and restart gw2 before doing any major events I guess?
Also, yesterday during PvP gw2 started acting weird and all player textures were suddenly just pink, green and other bright colours and my fps dropped to about 2 when looking at other players.

Yah, I’m waiting to see what they do. But if nothing changes, just on the fact that they don’t give mac users any support, and that they try to bury us, I’m going to more than likely move to a different MMO. Probably wait for the mac client for FFXIV online.
Cool, I remember playing FFXIV on my old computer, played for about a week or so but it was pretty fun.

Actually, I play with my player settings quite low, I can see my own character in rather high detail, and my party members as well. But the others are either default models or non-apparant at all.

Hmm, I’m not having all that much problems as you guys, maybe because I have the latest MacBook Pro? Also, I there’s a little guide a friend of mine sent to me to increase my fps:
“This guide will show you how to take advantage of your Video Ram to instantly boost your fps on the mac client. I’ve been wondering why my mac with good hardware was getting such terrible fps especially in zergs. With this edit I went from average of about 20 fps to about 30 or more fps in LA. In PVE i’m seeing up to 50 compared to about 35 before the edit.
What you will do is edit your config file which defaults your video ram to 256 and change it to the proper amount of video ram your mac has.
(For reference I am using the latest OS X El Capitan)
Step 1: Find out how much video ram your mac has.
- click the Apple menu, go to About This Mac
- click system report
- click graphics/displays in the left-hand column
- find your VRAM (Total) – this is what you will enter in the gw2 config file, mine was 1024 (four times the amount set by default in the config file!)
Step 2: Edit your GW2 config file - close Guild Wars 2 if it is running
- go to your applications folder and right click the Guild Wars 2 app
- click show package contents
- open Contents>Resources>Preferences
- open the config file in TextEdit
- find the line that says “VideoRam” = “256” and change the 256 to your VRAM (Total) that you found in step 1
- find the line that says “AGPVertexRam” = “128” and change the 128 to half of your VRAM (Total)
- save and close the file and reopen the Guild Wars 2 app
- enjoy the extra fps!!!
Hopefully this guide helps anyone else with a Mac who, like me, was frustrated with their low fps!
Note: You may have to redo this after every patch, not sure yet." -Reddit
Hope this helps!
Oh same problem, i didn’t think it was a Mac problem, but apparently it is.
I just reported a bug in-game, I have the EXACT same problem.
When I walk up to the tavern restoration npc:
-Scrolling does not work
-Clicking other upgrades doesn’t do anything
-Can’t use inventory IN Npc UI to add items to donate
-When using my own inventory instead, I can add them, but the Donate button
doesn’t work.
tl;dr, the entire ui is frozen, just like you described.
I have HoT and I’m also a guild officer.
I want to remove the Living story season 2 tracker in the topright corner, press quit this episode right? Nope, it reactivates the quest immediatly after you press quit and nothing happens.
Any way to fix this? Looked this bug up and someone else apparently had the same problem about 7 months ago.
No one knows how to do this?
I’ve had this for over a week now -_-
A week ago, the “buy” button was greyed out.
Now, it still is. I also can’t see my gold balance and the gem balance is “…” instead of “0”
How to fix this?
