I just went to Yak’s Bend (my home server is Blackgate) and apparently it’s much better here… In fact, I did Fire Elemental with a load of people and I didn’t even get skill lag…
This reinforces the theory it’s server related. I’m opening a ticket, you guys should too.

I have the same problem… The game is unplayable since tuesday, I am struggling to just do my dailies and get out…
I don’t wanna sound like I know it all but I am a network engineer and I did all the tests I can think of and the problem really doesn’t seem like network latency related… Even some of your screenshots prove that…
It does seem like it’s on the server side… It feels like a constant boss fight with skill lag. Even in places with dozen people like Sanctum Sprint… It actually took me quite some time to do some jumps there… Every time my character is pulled back from it’s current position and falls…
I honestly don’t know what I can do here… I can’t play GW2 anymore…

That’s one person instead of dozens.
We definitely don’t want to go to the level of fragmenting the game to the extent that we have PvP, WvW, and PvE versions of all the skills as that creates a disconnect with the characters we want you to use in all those places. That said, we are certainly discussing the idea of adding skills that would have a WvW focus. But they are just on the discussion level.

Why you guys answer only these threads where the question is obviously against the current model and the answer is simple?
Please stop choosing the easy way and provide us some actual solution or at least let us know that you are seeing the REAL problems were a complaining about on a daily basis…
Multiple accounts means you need to spend money or am I missing something?
That’s why I said they need to start permanently banning accounts… Once you start hitting people’s pockets they stop doing that…
This situation needs to be solved before the game eventually goes free to download… Once that happens hell will unleashed.
There’s no need for magical coding or anything… Just implement some decent logging and have people look at it… Ban accounts, hit their pockets…
It may be hard to implement stuff to prevent hacks… But it’s not hard at all to detect them and take action…
We need a better report system and they need to just implement a decent log system that even takes the reports in consideration… The whole thing can be automated and still be effective since some things are just blatantly obvious…
I agree to all changes proposed to the blocking system… In fact, I am surprised that some things work the way they are described… In my mind when I block someone he wasn’t able to communicate with me at all and vice-versa…
Please implement these changes so we can WvW fairly… Specially the one where the blocked person can’t see the siege placed by the person who blocked him… This is essential to avoiding trolls that block access to repairs, revives, supply by dropping siege on top of them…

Even though I love this game I agree with you… Pains me, but I think eventually even the game will be downloadable for free and this will get worse…
Maybe it’s time to look for options…
Making sieges tradable even made this situation worse… The base value of sieges really should go a LOT higher so at least it will be expensive to do such thing.
By the uptime on such trolls accounts I believe some of them are even being shared between a few people just to get the trolling rolling 24/7…
Currently we hardly can lay siege on the ground to defend buildings since they get spammed by ballistas being drop on top of them… Also taking supply from camps suffers from the same thing…
It’s a shame that the only real end game content of this game is currently a joke…
On BG we have a troll commander that tries to prevent any siege from being build by throwing ballistas on top of it… It’s clearly coordinated via voice chat with JQ attacks since they don’t even attack him except for the PUGs that don’t know the spots he stays during the attack to stay safe…
He also drops ballistas on top of camps to prevent people from getting supply and obviously drain it…
If that is what WvW is about these days it needs more work… Ballistas costing 20c on the TP really doesn’t help the situation…
I don’t have all the answers but something needs to be done… People that are not really into WvW (and could be) just look at scores and get frustrated and don’t join… If the game sells that the “end-game content” is WvW something really needs to be done to fix it…
The problem is not ISP related at all…
Currently, the Crown Pavillion overflow is unplayable… You can hardly activate a skill even out of combat…
As soon as you leave the area, everything is normal.
