So by now, I’m pretty sure Anet knows there’s a problem with the collection item that is everyone’s very last.
I wasn’t sure where to post this, but I want to know if anyone has tried opening the fine/masterwork/rare version of the Heirloom Seed Pouches and had any success.

Well they made some good changes in TPvP but then took them away. There used to be 3-round tournies with gems being awarded for first place, but then they removed the gem reward. And then they removed paid tournies completely. Now the only tourny option is a free 1-round tourny that might as well be a hot join with better rewards. Basically, TPvP is in shambles.

I hope they release a tool that will let you search up your own rank in categories. Then players would get a sense of where they are compared to other players and the leader boards would actually be useful to me.

how people get the weapons or gold they are buying? the seller must have a way to break in the game and give you a copy or generate currency in your account, that for me is hacking of one company – coz they have a commercial representation – in the server of another.
They farm up all of that stuff. Hence, bots.

I ran AC path 2 right after the patch and never finished. It takes a lot more coordination now, and I’m finding it harder to believe that a random group of 35s new to the game would have fun in this dungeon.

I’m saying that most likely runs for the old dungeons will be sparse because their only usefulness now is cosmetics. Maybe a few for stats, sure am glad I got my stat armor before FotM.

First, there’s a difference between “Random” (the real random, a dimension that we can’t use or access) and “Random created by humans” (using complicate formulas to simulate random). So the random that you see in videogames is never really random.
I’m not going to start a philosophy or physic lesson, but the only “real random” of this universe happened during its “potential” creation. Then atoms and physics laws did all the rest. With that, for example, you can already predict all loots you’ll get during your life, before you are even born. Then, you are not directly “lucky” but your luckiness happened during the creation of the universe… well, see what I mean, lol? It’s just logic.
Short version is, a bad particule position at time 0 and you get no loot all your life. If you have 1/2 chances to get something, well, that’s wrong, you have chance 1/unknown chances that the creation of the universe was proper to you getting this something.
Well, my theory is considering our minds are all-made of atoms so I may be wrong.
That was my philosophy moment.

Well in all honesty you don’t have to read all of his posts. If he’s posting too much, the moderators will take care of it. It’s really not your place to judge if someone is posting too much.

Yea this has also happens to me, although when I first start doing a certain activity (like event farming in Cursed Shores or when I first started FotM) I will get quite a few rares and some exotics. After awhile, however, I’ll just end up getting blues. Really disappointing. I feel like RNG laughs at me, a lot.
Sounds like diminishing returns to me. We don’t have any solid data on this as far as I know, but it’s really disappointing. I play often, and for long periods (regularly 6+ hours an evening after work most days) so I’m starting to wonder if my crappy loot is just serious diminishing returns from playing too much. It really sucks if I’m being punished for playing too much.
I’m saying that I never have gotten as good of loot as when I first started doing the activity. Even if I wait a few days and go back to that activity.
Yeah, that seems to be about what I’m seeing. I really am starting to wonder if the diminishing returns aren’t ever fully going away (or take WAY too long to return to normal)… so the more you play the less loot you can expect to see.

They need to remove magic find from this game completely. This isn’t Diablo. Magic find also runs face first into the diminishing return wall, making it obsolete.
So I should sell my MF gear? Because it’s taking up like 15 of my 30 bank slots, or however small the bank slots are.

Yea, I recently switch from NA Crystal Desert to EU Far Shiverpeaks to help some people with Arah and now I am freaking out. It’s so quiet in Lion’s Arch.. and everywhere else for that matter. I really want to get back to Crystal Desert, but I think it’s impossible now. Everyone I usually run dungeons with is in Crystal Desert.
kitten, why would you switch servers to help someone with a dungeon..? thats… really risky. poor choice. :/ dat honesty.
Haha, I’m not know for making wise decisions, but the people I helped really appreciated it. Now I just have to wait it out and hope Crystal Desert will have room when the 7 days are up. Wish that they still had the option to pay gems though.
