Im a officer from AFS and we transfer to SOR a few months back. We are a small WvW guild but we work hard at what we do. We would like to have a new guild on our team. I think SOR provides all the necessary tools you mention. As you know SOR is the #2 most used TS server so you know we be chatting things up in TS.
SOR Oceanic, SEA and EURO are made of small but relentless group of people. My guild AFS had manage to hold JQ hills for 5 days in their borderlands until the server bugged come up with the no siege day where JQ numbers overwhelm us.
I hope to see in the battlefield no matter which side you guys join in the end. Good luck with you choices.
Saw JQ hills taken back by JQ. Felt so sad. AFS been defending that T3 hill for 5 days straight. Survive a 2v1 with out manned in hills yesterday SEA time and lost it now. GJ JQ.
Miss you guys too MagiKarp. We had fun times in SoS. I love how when every guild from MERC to TSYM gets bored and jump into AFS TS channel and have fun. Hearing Grekkz screaming in dungeons or some out of topic chit chat. Oh did i mention Grekkz’s screams.
Well according to the T2 thread, WM is confirmed to BG. Should be an interesting matchup once they are over.

Nothing is confirmed. It will be confirmed if/when someone from WM makes a statement. Otherwise it’s nothing but hearsay. As of now WM is a guild on KN and that’s the extent of it.
It’s annoying that they have failed to make any public statement, either on the various KN community websites, or here in the forums. I respect them as one of the greatest WvW guilds out there but this seems a slap in the face to the KN who supported them all this time.

There is no queues in SoR oceanic or SEA. Only for JQ because of FOO. Non-oceanic and non-SEA people trying to act like they know whats happening in those hours but truth they do not know even half of whats going on.
JQ has the strongest SEA enough to handle both SOR + BG SEA/Oceanic combined. But SOR + BG oceanic is better then JQ. If JQ SEA comes in early then SOR and BG are screw during both SEA and Oceanic timezone.
Best NA now goes to SoR (Check the scores). Being that JQ is a server with a lot of guilds, no bigger and important guild matter right now then FOO. They carry JQ during SEA timezone with pugs.
JQ can fill up to 2 map during SEA while BG and SoR barely 1 map if their lucky.
Im just stating the truth during SEA/Oceanic timezone. Those who do not play during those times do not know the real situation.

We didnt reveal his past to any EMP members because we do not want to bad mouth anyone since he has a credible reputation in the guild as a commander. But now he did the same thing he did to us, so i think it is right i share with you guys what happen.

Anyway as requested above, this is not againts Rawnoodle. I already told my story. Whether you take it as a smear campaign is up to you. I did not intefere with EMP internal stuff. Ask said by you, you already left and form RE. So what is the issue? The reason we kept quite was because we didnt want to stir EMP guild. But now you have left EMP and so my story will not affect EMP what so ever.
I hope EMP stays in JQ and remains as a strong guild. All the best to EMP from AFS.

I just got permission to post the events that happen when Commander Lee was in AFS. This is from my perspective and not other guild members or leaders. This explains the story of creation of AFS till Countess Lee Left.
AFS was an alliance between SOS guilds LYN & OWR. We create AFS and selected Grekkz, to be our commander. Countess was the first other commander in AFS. He lead us during off hours when Grekkz was off. As much as i hate him now, he is a true dedicated person that plays even during our off hours.
He did a lot of mistakes as a commander but that was understandable as we all have to learn. He started promoting AFS in SOS and recruiting people at the fly which was good but we started losing control of our members. He get angry when people do not turned up for WvW during our off hours. He made some silly decisions and was consulted with our Commander and Officers (I was a normal senior at that time so i didnt know what was the mistakes).
He tried to make a coup but in the end he left because of the glory and we stay because of the fun. AFS has never wanted any fame and just wanted to enjoy WvW but he made it so serious and in the end our guild and him had difference in opinion and he said some bad stuff about us through a mail and & STOLE our gold and left the guild swearing vengeance on any AFS he passes by in WvW. No members ever followed him to SOR&JQ.
You know there are times when he said angrily on TS that SOS is in X borderlands need all help during SEA hours. That just 15 of us being spawn camp by him and his stupid commanding.
This is my side of the story first hand handling with countess (or legendary Lee)
DB’s weakest time is NA, so yes they got more competition.
However, I’ll point out that NA is also JQ’s weakest time. Challenge/competition, to me, weren’t the true reasons for the transfer. But this is all irrelevant now. What is done is done.
We’re still going to take anyone changing their minds -and I’ve been contacted by a few already, though by only about 5- with open arms, bar a few specific individuals.

Its shook our guild but in the end all of us stuck together with he/her leaving for other server. I was never one to look into the drama but he/she took our gold from the guild bank and left (free transfers that time so why u need gold?). I hope EMP stays cool and i feel happy that you are able to get rid of this problem. Maybe if you have gotten rid of him/her early, we might have joined JQ. Hahaha.

Yesterday was the first time we ran in SoR with only 10 people. Ress are still farming CoF muahaha… Those poor kittens. Hope they get over soon though.
Flakes of TKG is in a relationship with Loktar of FoO, and possibly others as well. It’s well documented. The heir they produce is prophesied to lead JQ’s SEA armies to world domination.
The JQ Community fosters such intermarriage amongst guilds for greater cohesion and bro-love to increase our strength in wvw.
We are entertaining an offer from SoR that would marry Indo to Glorious Stei for a cessation of hostilities and a continued 2v1 on BG. But since SoR has payed thousands of gold for new guilds to move to their server recently, we are afraid they might be light on the dowry.
Sorry have to stop you there. SoR did not pay us or anyone to move to their server. We move because we like SoR and chose SoR. Whether you believe it or not is your problem. BTW not all Tsym or AFS members are across. We still have some running CoF to farm gold. So please to not insult a server or any kind without any proof.
We are moving to SoR. I will personally move over today to meet u guys. We will bring in our troops slowly as it takes a long process. Many members are low in gold since we only WvW and rarely farm. i personally am force to use cash ^^.

We already sent our scouts around to servers which we are interested in. I ask mod to please close this thread already since this is slowly being taken over by trolls.
Blame the world anet has made for us. If WvW was handle correctly we would not have to do this.
Most of our members are not getting rewarded for joining WvW. We have to put in extra hours just to chase for PPT every week. Nobody like losing after we put in so much effort in points. We also do not want any PvDoor which is dull.
This patch seems like another failure because it give no incentives to do WvW. To tell you the truth, i hate WvW in GW2. Its the weakest part of the game. The only reason i still keep playing is because im not going to leave my guild hanging up dry.
Thanks for all the messages. We are still scouting as for now and no decision has been made. With the removal of culling, we also like to check and see how this effect us in WvW with the lag and all. Patch got release 3am at my side so will be testing it tonight once i download it.
We are not aiming to make a difference and blow our whistle to the world. We are just there to have competitive WvW. I think more then half of the people hear even haven’t heard of our guild as we like to keep things low key.
I think it is best we do not reveal our scouts, I do not want any people or server pulling an act(Burn out or all nighter) to prove a point and try to pull us to their server. We will go about this quietly as possible without causing any stress to any servers ^^.
We already sent out scouts. We will contact you guys if we need any extra information. EU scouts will be coming over by the end of the week. I maybe come over personally.
No we will all transfer over. Guesting is still available so we can go back to PvE. Our guild members does not care at all about any bonuses.
We run a tight shift of WvW time and also we do use any of our banners to recruit people. We WvW do our job and then have fun. Nothing more. Members who do not agree is welcome to leave our guild anytime.
Before you even consider EU servers, ask your members how many of them are willing to complete abandon US servers because guesting will not work once across water once you transfer across water. Guesting back on Sea of Sorrows will not be possible so if that is a problem then EU servers are out of the question.

In my opinion, the reason Grekkz is making this post so that no misunderstanding happens and also get a feel for how the other server works before we transfer. We will not be receiving any offers of gold to transfer also as stated so it is not a buyout. We will still return to guest in SoS because we have many alliances there that we do guild missions together and will continue to do so.
