Guild Wars 2

Would love to see Monk make a comeback. That class separated the men from the boys back in the original.

My EVGA 1060 6gb can do 4k at an acceptable FPS (40ish, low for me personally but its alright) so I’d imagine the 1070 would have no issues. The problem with 4k in this game is the UI is so dang small. I just play in 2K, looks great, FPS is good and the UI doesn’t need a magnifying glass.

Yup I couldnt care less about the clipping. People that dont like it could just disable them. Sadly it’ll never happen, not in this game anyways.

I hated HoT until I actually sat down and gave it a serious chance. The maps kind grow on you really. I still hate the lack of solo content in them though as I am just not a group player. Probably why I still enjoy the heck out of the original. Love my heros!

Game is absolutely still worth picking up. I still play it about as much if not more than GW2. That said I agree with Mazut in the if you’re just after the achievements dont bother. I’m not even sure you could accomplish it in months anymore, it literally might take a year plus of grinding unless you have absolutely nothing else to do but play Guild Wars 10+ hours a day.

Well I want the fiery sword more than the title. Will the sword be easily obtainable?? It’s an end goal, honestly if the end goal wouldn’t effect gw2 then I wouldn’t play it.

Sword would be pretty easy. I’d think you could do that in a few weeks honestly.

Man I hope not. Look this isn’t an “anti console player” type thing either. Its a 90% of the games us PC players get now days are a garbage/dumb down console port. Thats the last thing I want GWs to become.

I didn’t know anything was wrong with it (PVP on the other hand……….), have any specifics you’re looking for? Might be able to better assist knowing what you disliked before.

Cant even get away from PC in Guildwars anymore, unbelievable.

Sorry if this has been asked a million times but I couldn’t find a topic on this specific question that I have. Has anyone tried moving the .dat file from a Win7 computer to a Win8 system and had success in getting it working? I’ve done it before just fine Win7 to Win7 but I cant get it to work going to Win8. Just keeps wanting to DL the whole game again.

Any advise? Maybe this just doesn’t work between the two but I’m just trying to figure that out.

Alright that all sounds good to me. I definitely need to work on building up some money but this gives a route to go and an idea of what I need to finish my build off. Thanks a bunch for the help!

- I would say all of the above but most of the time it’s Open World with some Dungeons and a little SW so that’s what I’m looking to build for. If I had to pick I spend most of my time just in OW exploring doing random stuff.

- I don’t/haven’t done much crafting to date so my crafting skills/knowledge are severely lacking, however if that’s the best way to do it I’m absolutely open to it.

- My secondary weapon is just a Rifle so I have something for range, 99% of the time I’m just using a Greatsword.

Just looking for some tips on weapons/armor/runes etc. I’ve been away from the game for a little more than a year a recently started playing again. I’m not really concerned with the looks of items, I’m more concerned with the “how much should I be paying” for new armor and weapon (I like using great swords, mine doesn’t have max damage stats)? I have a level 80 Warrior and it’s likely only a shell of what it could be with the right gear. I read the DPS guide by Purple Miku which I think helped a lot as far a fixing my skills and traits goes.

I really don’t do PvP, I stick almost completely with PvE and thats what I’m trying to build for. As I said my biggest concern is I just dont know how much I should be paying for the items I would want. Don’t have much money to spend right now, been trying to do the Dragons whenever they are up look for some decent items to sell but I w.
