Instead of getting into a half filled map or an empty map most of the time, now you get full maps so events and such are not only feasable, but also happening?

This isn’t an issue for standard world events that are on the clock: If you’re in the region when the timer starts, you’ll probably get credit for it. Temple events, however, can be terrible. It’s easy to say that you’ll get into a zone where an event is happening, but what if the zone is starting to see people leave because the event is finished?
Megaserver sees a lower population map and it thinks to move you there because it still exists and could use people more than the medium-to-high population map that is in the middle of doing the event. Unless you have guild members you can join on in the map that is presently doing the event, this is going to be really irritating and will require you to simply sit on the map and wait a few hours.
I say this from experience because it happened to me twice in ten minutes trying to get to a temple event when a guild member alerted me that it was occurring (Lyssa and Melandru). The sudden onset of such occurrences was quite memorable, and for me it was demonstrative of how the Megaserver would work for world events without timers.

So, I’m in a guild of 500 people that maintains 150+ people at almost all times. Guild missions, Tequatl, Wurm, guild events (jumping puzzles, dive master, etc), world events (specifically temples which have no timers and are almost impossible to get groups of guild members to jump in on)… these are all a nightmare for guilds of our size.
I echo the sentiments of Phineas on page 10, and I’m disappointed that these changes have had consequence of not living up to the aspects he mentions. I’m not bothered by the fact that this is not perfect from the beginning, things happen and kinks are worked out; unexpected consequences and all that. I’m disappointed because what he mentions were STATED CONCERNS we wanted to avoid. These were mentioned in advanced, addressed publicly stating that there would be no problems, and now we see zero response after looking for ways to improve this.
Please, consider these issues and do something about it.
Maybe if the tag changes color upon joining the squad, that way you can still see where all the commanders are operating but would easily be able to pick your commander’s tag out on the map and mini.
Hate to necro an old thread, but I have a helmet doing this very thing. I’ve just noticed it for the first time tonight, and I’ve had this helmet for about a month. Charr Warrior, Draconic Helm. It’s not transmuted.
Why not? One more name to the list of players who talked to Tixx, didn’t get anything, checked support, and found an open chest sitting beside of him. :|

I use Eyefinity on three monitors.

Expand “Additional In-Game Screenshots”. Compare and contrast with Surround.
Fix what you see there, and get back to me. Until then, your game is going to retain that inglorious single-monitor shine and not a peep of describing how awesome this game is to my friends.
