I’m pretty upset I’m missing out on the entire Dragon Bash event because my laptop with GW2 needs a hard drive replacement ever since it broke right before the first release of Dragon Bash. I can’t believe they are already removing the content next week, and I still haven’t gotten my laptop back… Can’t install anything on this old laptop for an unknown reason, otherwise I’d be playing right now. I really think they could extend it a little longer.

I’m frankly fed the **** up with this god dang error. EVER since Wintersday ended, I get this error half of the time when I try to change maps. It says it’s either something wrong with my network or firewall but there’s NOTHING wrong on my end. I get so FRUSTRATED with this error because I end up missing world events I want to do. I heard there was a fix for it but I cannot find it and I am kitten that nothing has been done about it. Also, right after I get kicked, if I try to log back in, it has an error the first few times, and then when I select my character it will kick me off again, but usually only the first time after being kicked. I am begging for a fix at this point.

I have to agree with this. The ad was misleading for me as well, I was hoping even for some pink options when I saw it. I would really love to see some pink options for hair.

A dev in a previous thread mentioned that it will be added, they just didn’t know when. I myself have been waiting months for this feature and I really don’t want to wait another month or more for it. I have two characters that I want to change the names of.

I have started getting this today, and it is super annoying. My messages in chat do not show up, can’t join parties, etc.

I really wish that female norns and humans could all have the same hairstyles. Like, there are a few hairstyles I really like that is only available to female humans that I would really like on my female norns. I don’t care much for the hairstyle options for the female norns. There’s actually one in particular I truly wish I could put on my female norn elementalist right now, and that’s the one with the long ribbons in the back. It breaks my heart that I can’t change my norn’s hair to that style.

Well, the update has not fixed the issue. This has been going on for nearly a month… Come on!

Now, before anyone jumps down my throat and says I made an error, I did not. I specifically double checked to make sure I was buying what I needed.

Went to Temple of Melandru last night to purchase 2 karma armor pieces, Light Aurora Leggings and Light Aurora Mantle. When I tried to purchase both of them, they each said “Are you sure you want to purchase Light Aurora Leggings?” and the same goes for the Mantle. However, when I looked in my inventory, I had the HEAVY leggings and mantle somehow. Like I said, I double checked to see I was buying the right thing, and those messages also popped up and I know for a fact they said LIGHT, not HEAVY.

This honestly disappoints me greatly because I worked hard for my karma, and now I’m stuck with the heavy armor and can’t do anything with it. I really think it should be fixed, that light armor classes cannot obtain medium or heavy sets, and same goes for the others. Medium should not be able to obtain light or heavy, heavy should not be able to obtain medium or light. Or at least have a refund for Karma if you end up not liking the items or you receive the wrong thing. This is absolutely absurd.

I’m still having this issue and it is really starting to kill the game for me. Most of the time it is when I am porting somewhere else or when I am logging in to a character. I am getting SO sick of it and if tomorrow’s update doesn’t fix it I might just quit altogether!

Update: Now it is just more frequent and now I can’t really play because I just keep getting d/ced over and over and over! I am seriously begging for this to be fixed! There was a party waiting for me to port so we could all go into AC but every time I try to port I just disconnect. I’m really getting fed up with this issue.

This has been happening to me as well since the new patch in early January, and the most recent patch has failed to fix the issue. I am getting really irritated with this and they need to do something about it.

Wish I had seen that sooner, before leveling my Mesmer to 400 in artificing. It’s alright though. Thank you.

I didn’t keep track of how much gold I spent but I know it was over 5g to craft to 400.

In my experience it costed me about 10g to level artificing to 400. I don’t want to have to do that on another toon because then leveling my original artificer was all for nothing. Wish there was some way Anet could transfer the recipe from my elementalist to my mesmer.

EDIT: After some time and thinking, I have realized that this is purely my fault and ANET shouldn’t have to reimburse me. I just got really upset when it happened and kind of overreacted.

I wasn’t sure where else to post this, but I made a HUGE mistake just now. I did not realize that I had to use the Recipe for Gift of Energy on my Articifer. I only realized this after I consumed the recipe on my other toon and tried to forge the items with no luck.

I honestly don’t want my 10 gold to just go down the drain just like that. This system is so messed up. Developers of ANET, I am begging you to reimburse me… I am so kitten off right now.

This has been bugging me for a while now. This has to do with the chopper that is just lurking right above Shelter’s Gate Camp in Cursed Shore.

PLEASE, either move it up higher or get rid of it completely. It seriously gets in the way when I am trying to do the events that are there.

First, I will clarify that it is NOT my internet and it is NOT my firewall.

The past few days I have been having frequent connection problems with GW2. Sometimes when I try to teleport to a waypoint it will kick me off saying it has lost connection, and then for several minutes when I try to log back in, it keeps saying “Connection failed, please try again.” This is happening way too frequently and it just makes me even more angry when I’m in the middle of an event.

An update though, it is no longer happening every time I go into combat. It happens a bit frequently though.

So I logged in with my mesmer today and right away I noticed I got stuck in combat. I relogged, and this got her back to full health, but she keeps on getting stuck in combat, and not getting attacked by anything. I’ve tested all my other characters and it is ONLY happening on my mesmer. I’ve tried restarting the game and it still does it.

Please fix this.

I get weird annoying sounds as well during battles with a lot of players! The sounds change sometimes. Sometimes I might hear a cannon or gun shot kind of sound, sometimes an annoying cracking sort of sound, and other times I get what sounds like someone hitting a microphone that is turned on and plugged into speakers. It’s usually much louder than the game itself, too. I thought it was a problem with my sound!

I also spent a lot of gems on these mystery boxes and didn’t get anything that’s in the store.

I apologize, I didn’t know I had to go there to get the rewards! Someone told me it would just show up on screen like any map completion. Thanks!!

So maybe a couple weeks ago, I got 100% world completion and all I got was the achievement. I didn’t get any rewards. I wasn’t sure if it was going to show up on-screen right away or be mailed in-game… so I waited, and I completely forgot about it until now.

Arenanet, I would like my rewards for world completion, please.

I just sold some items to the TP just a moment ago and there’s no money for me to pick up.

I sold: 3 ectos for about a total of 80s 70c
2 sigils for 2s 20c each

Also a little while ago I sold unidentified dye for 9s 60c, and no money for me to pick up.

Please fix this!!!

So I used to farm for gold with Plinx all the time up until the nerf. Now I feel like I’m getting absolutely nothing because any event I do gives me no rares and I have MF gear.

So, my question is… what are the best event chains out there that have good drops, including rares?

Yep same problem for me!! Getting really frustrated.

Same problem in Borlis Pass. I’m getting really frustrated because I enjoy the Plinx chain and would like it to be working again.

I came on here particularly to suggest that GW2 should have the Alpine Stalker as a ranger pet. Some of the other suggestions sound good, too. I would love to have an alpine stalker as a pet as it is so pretty.
