Raids take to long. I hate standing around waiting on people to get ready to start.

I fell asleep one night just waiting on a few of the people to get setup = lame. When I woke up I was logged out of the game.

If it were some game type that I could jump in and start kickin *ss, I would be all in. But Raids… No thanks.

Sorry…. it’s all crashing.

Ive mixed up mystic salvage kit with sharppening stones way more than I want to admit.

It would be cool with me if the icon for msk would be changed.

I get some exotics. ‘2 a week or 2’ I’ve gotten 4 Teq Hoard boxes and maybe 4 ascended weapons and armor chest.

And no precursors at all. Which is sad but I would sell them right off.

I just grind the mess out of Orr for gold.
Which got me enough gold to so I could max out all crafting… which got me heavy/medium/light full ascended armor sets along with all the ascended weapons.

I grind the world map or events to get ascended backpacks or trade gold for gems for skins.

You can get 20 to 25 gold a day to get what you want.. eventually.
I stay away from RNG gold sink as much as I can.

Life is a grind —- so I MMo’s.
In my view.

I love this game and put in 5 to 10 hours a day for the last few years.

It has hiccups sometimes but it get fixed quickly… in my view.

I joined Knights of the Silver Chalice a few months ago ‘my first real guild’ and they added even more to the GW2 experience.

2 of my sisters are going through breast problems so I wish you the best.

1.5 hours wasted and no blooms.

So I fixed it myself.

I have 10 80s, I wasn’t getting anywhere with my Norn Ranger so I logged in my Norn Warrior.

Went to the T1 armorsmith and bought another locked piece of armor just to see what would happen, and what do you know… that worked.
So I wasted 22-ish extra gold.

But I got The Emperor title.

BFD right

10% Sound fair.

Harder work = more return.

Anyone can find or buy exotics, but to get ascended you need to max out crafting and build your equipment plus use your laurels to give it the little extra.

Exotic equipment is one step below, not equal.

I never understood the ‘oh it’s to hard so it’s not fair’

Wait it you get in a dungeon or a heated pvp game with someone who thinks they are gods gift to Guild Wars.

You just have to brush it off and get away from elitist loud mouths. It’s a big game… there is room for everyone… even kitten-holes.

Everyone one that plays GW2 bought the ‘core’ game.

Now I have to buy the core plus expansion.

They aren’t giving me a dicount off the HOT expansion.

Please ANET I only need the Norn Specialty Armors 17/18 fixed.

The rest of the Specialty Armors are complete.

I ran into this bug a long time ago before they introduced the changed personal story rewards. This is indeed an annoying bug, and it seems to randomly fix itself. I woke up one morning and had 18 of 18 unlocked. Was stuck on 17 out of 18 on my charr cultural armor(BEFORE the wardrobe was a thing.) Had bought every single piece of cultural armor as well.

I guess I’ll give it a few weeks till i panic.

No I bought them all the same day just to make sure I could finish that title off quick.

It was going well until I went to Hoelbrak with my lvl 80 Norn female Ranger. “Medium Armor class”

I went on to the Great Lodge and talked to the T1 cultural armorsmith Sken and bought the 6 piece medium set.
Then went to the T2 armorsmith Dela and bought the 6 piece medium set.
And finally went to the T3 armorsmith Valdsam and bought the 6 piece medium set.

I checked my Hero panel hoping to see the achievement for Norn Specialty Armors complete… hummm… it says 17/18. That can’t be right I just bought:
T1 complete medium set =6
T2 complete medium set =6
T3 complete medium set =6
TOTAL: 18 different medium pieces

I went back to each armorsmith and confirmed all the armor I bought says unlocked. Hummm All looks correct.

So I thought I got some glitch so I re-started GW2 ‘a few times’ and waited a couple of days and rechecked my Hero Panel… But still 17/18

I even bought another T3 helmet but this time a heavy one and just to try also a few heavy T1 pieces but still 17/18.

I sent a bug report and haven’t heard anything back … any ideas?

I can’t believe a C-5 Galaxy can fly.

If it can I think Tequatl can also.

SW chest farm. Dungeon tour.

Then do a big boss tour.

Then do some Orr… You’ll happen on a temple run plus the other stuff you’ll pick up.

COF until you get sick of it and buy all berserker armor with the tokens… Play pvp until you get sick, then use your transmution charges to change the ugly COF armor to something cooler looking.
Or
Go to Silverwaste and farm gold, then buy some armor off the TP.
Or ‘if your lazy’
Buy gems, turn them into gold and buy armor off the TP.
Or
World boss train or run Orr until you have enough karma and buy Berserker armor off a karma vendor.
But
You’ll still have to farm gold somewhere to buy your armor runes of the scholar.
So
You got a lot of playing to do…. get out of the forums and get to it

I want a beard for my Norn female warrior if we’re all going to get what we want.

Map completion doesn’t need real jump puzzles. Some do have some jumping to get to them but not many.

What gets me is WVW poi’s and vistas got removed from world map completion. People have it to easy now.

I bought an extra bag slot while using my guardian main. I thought it was account wide. "I didn’t read’ Booo.
Now I main a ranger and wish I had that extra bag slot but it’s to expensive to buy one for ever character.
Plus with the new profession coming up I have to buy another for that one also.

Just wishing it was account wide but they do need to make money.

HoT is the perfect opportunity to up the stats of exotics to be on par with ascended items.

I put a lot of time and gold into my ascended armor sets and weapons and for sure don’t want to see any changes.

I have 11 80s … 10 girls and one guy.

I just like looking at girls more.

I dont play thinking I’m the character… more like I’m helping the character in it’s journey.

Play pvp and do map completions, I have over 50 charges and use afew a week with no problem. You dont need to buy them just play the game and you will have plenty.

All 11 80s were done in frost sound … jumping off the same snowy mountain into the water and killing a jellyfish … its just my tradition.

The Boy Band male faces are a bit to much on a warrior… or any other profession.

The eye scarfaced human male is pretty good, but norns seem to have a couple more manly-man faces.

I would rather have new tough guy faces than new metro hair styles.

I think I found how this is working.

When the gift card is redeemed for merchandise either by the original purchaser or another who may have received the card as a gift, the gift card is treated like cash given for the purchase of the item. If the item purchased is taxable, sales tax is due on the full sales price including any amount paid with the use of the gift card."

Buying a gem card, is being treated as a “gift card”. That’s the only posable reason I can see. The “gift card” would be exempt from tax in store, then when redeemed it’s worth 800 gems(sorry never bought cards so Im not sure about the exact gem amount). So A-net gives the claimer 800gems, there is no further cash transaction so no tax. When buying them online from A-net directly you are not buying a “gift card” so you are being charged tax. Yes it’s kind of a loophole as a gem cards value is not the same as a gift card, but as I said that’s the only way I can see this happening.

Since a direct purchase of gems is not the purchase of a gift card and I believe ANet’s NA server is physically located in Texas, it does mean that ANet has a physical presence in Texas and therefore must charge players in Texas for sales tax when they buy gems directly. Even if gift cards are exempt in the state.

That would explain it.

I wonder why it just started charging the tax mid 2014 with direct gem purchases.

I just bought my son a $12.99 game on Steam… it didn’t charge me tax.

His xBox Live, WOW, Rift and Defiance cards doesn’t charge tax.

I’m sick of payin taxes on gems from the bltc… they stopped selling gem cards locally on which I’ve never had to pay taxes on ‘Target or Gamestop’
$25 card I pay $25 … zero tax

This is such a scam.

As much money I have paid in gem taxes I would have tens of thousand of gems in my account.

Absolutely loved the Anet April Fools Day!!!!

I logged in for some SAB and waited and waited, then the screen color changed and my arms stuck out and I got a stupid looking hat.

I still waited for about 15 minutes and still no SAB, so I figured this would go on for the next 24 hours or so I logged off for 24 hours.

I usually play GW2 4 to 10 hours a day… So I stared at my desk for a bit, then thought… I can go do something.
I mowed and edged the lawn.
I went to the hardware store and got some weed-n-feed, then fixed up the lawn even more.
While in my garage I found a box with my broken Pioneer laser disc karaoke machine — I fixed it — now we can do some singing.
Then I setup my old school Pioneer receiver and EQ with a Technics record player. LP goodness
Moved an antenna from the small attic to the big attic and put a signal booster inline. Free HD OTA
Washed the wifes car and mine also.
Went to the park with my son and a few of his friends and passed the football around.

I forgot that there are more fun things to do than play GW 2 all day.

I’m now cutting back to a couple hours of GW 2 per day.

I’m not putting Anet down because of their stupid April Fools but giving them a big thumbs up and a hearty thank you.

But…. when HOT comes out… I will probably be back up to 10 hours a day

I hope no one gets injured by a Volcanus skinned Zojja’s Ascended Claymore in real life.

Because some people might think I was an awful person slicing through GW2’s baddies with my Guardians main weapon. That would hurt my feelings knowing I hurt someone feelings.

Haven’t looked them up because I really don’t care, but I keep them and have a bunch.

Some people in our little world are over sensitive thinkers.

They can’t help but let their thoughts compare or dwell on sad happenings in this world and relate that feeling onto their everyday lives. Then naturally either lash out at what they love or depress over this idea they have created in their mind.

These type people are sad really. So pat them on the head and tell them… everything will be alright.

This whole airplane crash comparison is ridiculous.

The Vitruvian Man —Da Vinci pose-- is probably the default player model pose. They had the aviator cap already in the game, then some anet guy said “hey I can make a septa old timey like filter effect, It’ll take like 5 minutes.”
I don’t play with sound so I don’t know if they added plane sounds… I watch movies while I play GW2… after a few thousand hours you don’t really need the game sound or even pay much attention

You may say Anet did a lazy job and made it very annoying, But hey they did something and it is only April Fools day.

People need to lighten up and enjoy the day and play some GW2…

and maybe even some Super Adventure Box!
