It went down the same road as thief. Scary at first, until you know it’s incredibly easy to counter.
Remove daze from traps. Remove initial damage from test of faith. Reduce CC duration of Maw from 6 to 4 seconds. Remove boons from baseline. New trap trait reduces CD and gives back the boons that were once baseline. This should be enough. No reason to nerf virtues/lb; that’ll gut the rest of the class.
Swiftness is important for ranged since kiting is incredibly strong in this game, even moreso in WvW because escaping as guard can be difficult. Unless you have teammates spamming swiftness, pack runes are still a great choice. I wouldn’t rule out traveler runes either TBH. The extra movement speed is really nice.
Another option(although arguably janky) is defender runes. I used to use these in WvW and although it can be random, if you can keep a timer in your head it can be incredibly powerful. The #6 bonus on that rune heals for 4-5K. Paired with full medis the healing that can be done is ridiculous
Don’t have that much of a problem with revenants being OP, but for the love of god Anet please stop with all the passive stuff. We should be promoting active play and skill, not the opposite. Revenant has a ridiculously low learning curve

Yes there is, can’t use virtues during other skills as DH – it’s really annoying.

While the changes listed are the ones you’ll be seeing in the next beta weekend, we haven’t stopped making changes as we work to improve the Dragonhunter specialization. Here’s a few more changes we’ve been playing with for the longbow.
Puncture Shot: Arrow velocity is slow! We’re looking at increasing it so that it’s less strafe-able. What we’ve got it at is ~66% increase, putting it at around Hip Shot (engineer rifle) velocity. We’re also looking at the base and bounce functionality.
True Shot: To make this ability more rewarding for stopping you in place, we’re looking at further increasing the damage.
Deflecting Shot: We’re looking at increasing the damage values of this ability, so that it has a bit more impact to it.
Symbol of Energy: It’s really hard to place this in a position on allies/enemies without them being gone by the time the arrow gets there. Upping the missile velocity by ~60% and allowing it to be fired behind you.

I know I’m just repeating what pretty much everyone is saying here, but
virtues need to be instant cast!
Otherwise it just feels clunky. With current virtues there’s very little synergy with so many other traits, not to much RF feels very lackluster now since you can’t activate virtues mid cast. This is probably the biggest issue with Dragon Hunter right now. I think most people can accept LB issues but virtues just feel very unoptimized right now.

Anyone else have this happen to them? I’m 100% sure it was an interrupt and I’ve never had this happen pre patch, yet post patch it’s happened at least half a dozen times.
Just to clarify, it happens during the invuln phase, after I cast it but before the invuln ends. I’m also 99% sure it’s a mesmer skill.
