That’s exactly it, every time my IP address changes, I can not authenticate. So no, I lose access next time that happens.
Plus I can’t see attacks on my account. Nor announcements of game events. And I have much less time right now to do anything. Trying to chase this down comes at the cost of actually having fun in my limited time right now.
House suffered heavy damage from tree landing on it. In order to control expenses, having to suspend ISP whose email is only used by companies that refuse to allow account name changes.
This will become a serious issue rapidly, as I’m likely to have to move again soon, and then again when I find a more permanent residence.

There’s a bug with anti-farming measures that is making a fair number of players take a break from the game. Hopefully things will revive if arena.net fixes things.
I’d love a linux client, but my experience with transgaming & cider ports is that usually once the game works in wine it works better than the wrapper does.
I’d rather they wait, and do true native ports to both platforms, as there’d be a lot of shared work on the renderer. But there’s no hurry on that, the engine has a lot of other serious issues that need sorting out before inflicting it on more unsuspecting customers.

Or there’s the sickening camera & control issues. *View yo-yos while sticking to a random rock and watching character walk away.*

What’s bizarre is they allow first person camera in Guild Wars 1. It’s less than ideal for general play, but allows you to do things like screenshots far more readily.
It’d take a few minutes of effort to patch in, I truly don’t understand why they’d rather punish players. I get a blinding headache when the camera goes into yoyoing, nevermind getting dizzy and sick from it sticking and doing random things while moving around.
