I really agree with most of this, but what i can’t stress enough is the Warrior’s Sprint thing.

As a Berserker now i’m running Strength/Discipline/Berserker, and literally the only reason i’m using Discipline is because of Warrior’s Sprint, it’s just too good not to have, especially for running around the jungle. Fast Hands is great and all, but you need to carry a ranged weapon as an offset a lot anyway in the jungle so camping GS is not a big deal, it really is just for Warrior’s Sprint. I would obviously much prefer to use Arms as my second specialization because it works with Berserker so well, especially with Furious.

As it stands now, Discipline has 3 pretty good traits in the first tier while Strength has 0. All 3 of Strength’s first tier traits are just useless filler, the only decent one being might on heal but vast majority of warriors use healing signet anyway so it’s pointless. If Warrior’s Sprint could get swapped into Strength then Strength would actually have a nice first tier trait, Discpline would actually have a choice, and using Arms as one of your specializations would actually be enticing.

Glowing Hands

I don’t think any devs even read this section of the forums anymore, but if by some chance you do, for the love of anything, why did you remove the fiery red glowing hands of Berserker?

I really loved that glow, very similar to Revenant’s glow bases on which legend they’re invoking. The glow was awesome and i thought it looked really cool to have fiery glowing hands then going full on fiery red when in Berserk.

Is it gone because of the Always Angry trait change? Was the Always Angry trait the thing giving us the hand glow? Can you just make it a thing that happens as long as you have the Berserker specialization equipped? Please?

Why do the people who think this is a bad change act like getting elite spec is difficult or that it’s an accomplishment? It’s really not. There is no challenge there, i have my elite spec and i feel no accomplishment because it wasn’t hard at all, so the change makes no difference.

Stop being delusional thinking you have some superiority for doing a boring and slightly tedious task when it was more boring and tedious.

You already complained in the other thread, but now you need to cry in your own thread too?

This is such a stupid thing to complain about, there was never any valid reason for elite specs to cost so much, them being reduced does in no way at all “nerf content”. Nobody was complaining that they were hard to get, since if you had map completion you only needed Verdant Brink and a couple in Auric to get the spec, thinking it’s hard is just hilarious.

The entire point and argument is that people want to go through the new content WITH their new spec, not do the content just to get it. That’s the point and it makes complete sense. There’s no reason for it to just be tedious when majority of the elite specs are not even good. Reaper and Chronomancer are the only ones even really worth using. Herald too but you can hardly consider that a new spec since the whole class is new.

I mean i don’t even have a personal stake in this since i already have my elite spec and i don’t even use it since Berserker is pretty useless anyway, just saying that thinking this is a nerf to content is laughable.

I’m not quite sure why some of you are freaking out over this ‘revelation’. I think most of us knew SAB would come back, that wasn’t really the concern, the concern is WHEN will it be back, saying “yeah it will be back” is nice and all, but that could mean it’s on a hiatus for 6 months, a year, or more. That’s the concern here, just how long are we looking? Obviously Gaile doesn’t have the answer so it’s sort of a redundant or rhetorical question at this point. Personally i feel it should have already been back during this whole living story break, it would have fit in perfectly. My gut says we won’t see it for months and months, which is saddening to say the least.

Edit: I forgot to mention, i’m thankful for the information you can give us Gaile, i know that it’s all you can give so you’re not at fault here, you’re doing what you can and i appreciate it.

I doubt this will actually be read or taken notice of, but is there any chance at all for some of the old town clothes’ headpieces to come now that they’re armor skins? Ones that were taken out such as the wide rimmed glasses?

I would absolutely die to have a chance to buy those bunny ears since i never got them when they were around cause i didn’t see the point. Now that i could actually use them as an armor skin i want them more than anything. PLEASE LET ME BUY THE BUNNY EARS ANET, PLEASE!

Selfless / Thoughtless potion in dungeons ?

This is my main gripe with the potions too. I got my halo yesterday and i am really sad i can’t use it in dungeons. There’s no reason you can’t either, so i don’t get it. It’s not a combat issue because you can use it while fighting in the open world, and it’s not an instance type issue because you can use it in WvW and LA, so what’s the issue? Why can’t we use it in dungeons?

I really hope this gets changed, because it’s pretty silly.

No it won’t. You’re quite delusional if you seriously believe that, and it goes to show what little wurm knowledge you have. As said above, Teq only requires effort and coordination from 30-40 people tops, the rest can just zerg and do whatever, doesn’t matter.

Wurm requires 150+ people ALL playing at somewhat competent level (as far as events go, anyway) and ALL to be organized. Then ontop of that, in phase 2, you need at least 100 of those people to be in zerker gear and actually know how to use it or else you just simply won’t have enough damage to kill the heads. Do you know how annoying it is to get that many people to run in zerker gear when we’re in this current trend of “lol i play how i want” “whatever man i use what i think is fun” “i play outside the meta” and all this nonsense.

Wurm will never be on public farm status like events and like Teq on some servers. Even competent groups that are capable of killing it are starting to lose interest in any more kills because of the effort required and the zero reward you get for it.

Either way, i opened a ticket with the support to get my title, let’s see how that plays out. I do have a screenshot to prove that i was there and I should get my Wurm’s Bane title.

I’m kinda suprised how little “nerdrage” the current update is causing with people still doing the wurm, especially the part where people need to gather in Bloodtide Coast in order to get to Lion’s Arch, which is going to make all future efforts to collect 150 coordinated people for the wurm in the same map almost impossible in the coming 2 weeks.
Either people haven’t noticed yet, or they simply do not care any more. .

Well the reason i haven’t bothered making a post until now is because i know no matter how much you or i complain, or calmly state facts and logical reasoning for why we should be automatically rewarded OUR titles, makes no difference, i am 100% positive Anet will not anything about it, to be honest i don’t think they care about the wurm or the people killing it at all.

I mean as someone said earlier in the thread, we literally beta tested this stupid fight for them for 4 weeks, i personally killed it when it was bugged, and once again after it was “fixed”, i say fixed in quotations because the head phase is actually more broken than it was before, which is hilarious, but anyways, even with both those kills, the loot was HORRENDOUS, i mean just disgustingly pitiful, the amount of effort and coordination that fight requires for that terrible loot is just shameful. All they did this patch was make ascended armor slightly higher drop chance, who cares? The loot is still beyond awful for the work required. I don’t want to do the wurm again for that reason alone and i’m sure that’s exactly why most people don’t really bother trying to repeat kills too often.

That title should be awarded to people who have already killed it since the “fix” simply because of the sheer amount of time and effort that was put into that wurm, i mean 4 weeks of beta testing, come on, really? You can’t do this one thing for us after all that? REALLY?

Yeah, the laurels aren’t the problem, it’s the fact each level also costs 50 BoH. If you’ve already made a couple of legendaries then you’re going to be pretty strapped on BoH, even with the ones from achievement chests.

Yeah, it is now that i have to grind another week for these stupid levels i couldn’t care less about without any forewarning on Anet’s part.

I’m just so sick and tired of every patch containing at least 5 stealth nerfs/fixes for things and no mention of them what so ever, even after they stated they want to be more clear with the community.

The idea behind a Legendary weapon is that it is supposed to be somewhat completionist. With the introduction of achievement chests, 500 badges of honor is easy to get without getting into WvW, and WvW is a big part of the game.

It’s supposed to be a ‘show-off’ that you’ve played most of the core content, and played long enough to be ‘worthy’ of a Legendary.

Yeah, or you know, use a credit card and just buy one.

I’m pretty annoyed you now require rank 30 because i was going to make Moot in a couple of days, i have everything except the obsidian shards thanks to the overnerf of karma months back (which was also the block of my previous legendary). The fact i’m being punished because i didn’t buy the gift of battle yesterday with my tokens is very aggravating because i do not enjoy WvW at all, it’s just a zerg fest of giant groups spamming AoE on another giant group, and giant groups just whailing their weapons against doors. There’s nothing even really to it unless you’re the commander. It’s just lame.

Dredge Fractal rework?

Dredge is great, you get 30 bags every run.

Its also very easy in an organised party, especially if you’re good at JPs :p

1. What does JPs have to do with Dredge fractal at all?

2. I’m guessing you don’t do high level fractals, because Dredge fractal with the bomb run is probably the most annoying thing in the entire game.

I would like to bump this thread because i would really like to know if there are any changes to Dredge or even Cliffside fractals. Both are already extremely annoying to do at higher level fractals (40+ mostly, but still annoying on 38). I mean, these two fractals (along with the bad skin reward system) are the entire reason most people don’t even bother with fractals. Half the time when doing a 40+ fractal if we get dredge as the second fractal after swamp, we just reset and try again because it’s that big of a pain to even bother doing.

With this new system you’re doing at 30+ fractals to make them even harder, if Dredge (and maybe Cliffside) are completely unchanged then i fear this entire update is pointless because nobody capable doing higher level fractals are going to bother. They were already a pain, and if they’re just going to throw in a mechanic to make it more annoying along with only a gold or so extra as a reward, then what’s the point?

I’m sorry if i’m coming off rude here, but Dredge is truly the bane of fractals.
