Well without ascended its practically impossible to get those stats you are mentioning…As I said he has very low funding and doesn’t feel liek farming so ascended is out of the picture. :p

Well he doesn’t have a lot of funding so the choice is between pack or centaur. Centaur is practically free but the 125 precision of the pack could be really handy. I’ll suggest he runs with centaurs until he has money to afford packs!

we decided to go pvt but what runes should we bring with that?

My friend is a casual gw2 player who is almost lvl80. He’s not a hardcore player but wants to wvw so he decided to use the http://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Elementalist_-_D/D_Roamer build.

However for his armor we decided to go the fastest way and farm dungeon armor. But there’s no dungeon armor with celestial stats, so what is the best we can replace it with?

Okay thanks for the hint guys. One thing I don’t understand. The weapon sigils you guys recommend describe as “when swapping to this weapon, get…”.

Elementalists can’t swap, so is the sigil applied the moment you enter combat? Or how does it work?

Got a question for you all. I’m a thief running together with a friend of mine who is elementalist. He’s not on these forums so I’m asking this question is his play.

We’re lvl 70 now, soon to be hitting lvl 80. My friend runs an elementalist and likes
to play d/d. Our goal is to roam around together in WvW . As this is his only character and I never played elementalist our end-game knowledge for ele’s is zero.

My question is if someone can hand us a d/d build for WvW (d/f if d/d is underpowered in WvW) that plays pretty good in WvW.

He doesn’t have a lot of money to make his gear superior so it would be great if you could take that into advice (don’t know if it matters but maybe some runes are cheaper then the ones you would advice but give pretty good performance)

Okay guys. Can’t seem to really decide what looks best. Currently have a lvl59 Thief and planning to go for WvW being strong at small battles.

Gear I’m planning on using D/P with valkyrie armor and berserker jewelry. However I cant really decide what traits i should use.

First of all, sorry because I think you guys get these questions a dosen of times, but I haven’t really seen anything that answers my question regarding the latest update.

I have a lvl 80 ranger and really enjoy playing with the SB the most. My question really, keeping in mind the latest update, what is the build to go for if I want to spec towards pve-ing(dungeons and such) with a SB? (gear, stats, skills, …?)

I recently became a lvl80 ranger. I use this build http://www.noxxic.com/gw2/ranger/pve-builds/damage-build which uses shortbow.

I had around 25g when lvl80 ranger so i was able to buy exotic sets. This is where i guess i screwed up. I think i bought the wrong gear. I was so eager to get my exotics that i bought too fast. My guildies said I need cond.damage with this kind of build, whereas i bought jewelry and bow with crit.damage(my armor is cond.damage).
