Everybody agreed that you wouldn’t leave emerald in a NORMAL ladder where you can drop pips/tiers/divisions on any level.

Get better – you will rank up. Later or sooner based on how good you are. It’s that simple. If someone has a lose streak of 20 there is nothing more to say – you’re just a bad player. Ladder is made for both good and bad players, when are you going to understand that diamond/legendary rank should not be achievable by everyone.

Maybe you should stay in emerald/sapphire for the sake of ruby/diamond players mental health and to just not make it like a 4v5 game there.

Nothing special. Even TA could beat INC repeatedly with fewer people, RG doing it should be a cakewalk

But the farming is expected. Jade Sea zergs in particular has a really, really strange habit of letting you farm them by stacking up in a defensive blob on a tiny area even when the melee train is coming down on them… which means they are pretty much smacked to oblivion in less than a second with 20 peeps dead. I have absolutely no idea why they do that since the proven tactic against RG style melee trains is to scatter and circle. Oh and moaing Sacrx.

I see you didn’t play with really organized guild then. If you can keep pressure on enemy when melee leaves(yes, you still got necros, eles, mesmers, thieves who can drop some sweet stuff on a spot) for quick regroup there is no problem… and YES! it has to be quick, I mean, 3-5 seconds. I consider it better than to sacrifce damage/survi of even 1-2 guardians to make them walking healing machines, but only this.

I would love to see how fast your guardian melts. Nope, regeneration won’t help. For once you can escape such bomb, next time you’re dead, if any guild keeps pressure and pushing you… it means you’re literraly dead in 5 seconds or leaving the fight to use your lovely regen. Means you’re useless for team
And who said you have to leave fight to blast field? It all depends on how good communication is, how good is leading and how much people can see during fights

What is good fight for you? skill delays, fps drop, and pressing 1? Come with 20 of your guildmates to the mill, I will take 20 of mine and then we can have a “gf”. We have a match-up together again so it’s no a problem I think? Got open GvG slot on wednesday/thursday. Just don’t take whole train with you

All is right in GW2 again. GvG Showdown is back and suddenly there’s 5+ Upcoming matches on gw2gvg.com compared to the 1 or 2 that’s typically been there since Orbageddon. Now we just have to get NA to start using it again cause it really was extremely helpful in setting up matches before.

I definitely want to encourage both EU and NA guilds to make threads about their matchups here in this forums, especially if you plan on live streaming.

need help getting most of the guilds out of the PPT mindset and out of Gold League
most GvG’s dont happen in NA gold league is because “indo xyz” is a dictator in sanctum of rall, who for some reason is deemed a God. Anyway, GvG’s aren’t allowed to happen unless he gives the okay, I have heard this from every guild on SoR.

The only problem I notice here is – you’re the 1st person who considered it as a great achievement, or at least it made you so mad you had to come to the forum and release your rage all around. Okay, everybody got their methods. We only mentioned about enjoyable evening, had 20-25 guys, which is pretty cool for us since most guild is usually out on Fridays. And for your information – we did run for few weeks with max 18 vs lota lota more and the only thing that keeps us playing this game is fighting vs other guilds. So yep, we’re looking for this even tho it’s very hard vs pug server like Deso. Luckily there is FSP, one of the cool servers to fight against.
20-25 guys is just what you need vs Eternal 80-100 guys puggies. You can always meet some good players in such a big groups who know what fight is all about. They are making the difference and keep pushing us to the limit sometimes. Thank you for that.

I wouldn’t say those fights were nice or rather fights were intense but your behaviour terrible. Trying to blob one group of … 15 GUYS with 2x 20-30 is not even close to “nice fight”. Still sometimes me managed to catch 1 group without the other which was a miracle and quite intense ending of our raid.
I have no idea what happened to Gandara, I heared it’s guild based server but it appears someone was wrong. DiVa, the only guild raiding alone we met during whole week, even tho our numbers were too high to fight in a proper way.
GG [YaK], that was much harder than I expected. Big props, see you next time! And please unlock your characters so we don’t need to cancel rounds lol

We decided to add to every fight this night(even tho we waited few times just because of respect to guilds on GH who probably wanted to fight on their own) since AM guilds do not respect others open-field and also added themselves everytime. Just wanted to show what happens if we start doing the same.
And nope, we didn’t run close to each other, just every orange pop on the map was like a magnet this night. You don’t see AM out of keep/towers too often so it’s some kind of Christmas for us!

Open field is part of WvW but we rarely get any as you mostly flee when you see us. Confirmed. Fact. kittenroaches’ speed is nothing compared to yours.

I am well aware our blobs are squishy, and I am not even saying that we are better players than you are. WvW is war. War involves using whatever means necessary to win, be it more numbers or siege support. You don’t use any of those, you just rely on your “skill” and PVT gear to accomplish what you do.
The fun fact is that you could easily outperform us in all ways if you just grouped up with other people instead than standing there watching their fights. That is not war. Go behind the windmill for gvgs and the like, but kitten stop complaining about our #s

It’s much more than PTV gear, but it’s quite hard to understand for someone who have never played in open-field/GvG focused guild.

I can’t say anything on behalf of my server mates, so don’t know if you should refer to my post about running away from fights. I’m just conscious of numbers you’re bringing to the field which might be a reason. Casual puggies won’t engage into blob like some of guilds do.
Sometimes you need to look around and count how many people are running around you. Especially during late evening/night time.

I guess that the new changes aren’t that bad.

I hope to see the new GvG area arrive soon.

And with this there is no reason not to gvg anymore, and no reason to hold off until the arena arrives, especially with no assurance when that will happen. These buffs are pretty inconsequential even during the rare occasions when one of the guild’s server has all 3.

There was never a reason to excuse own faults just because of +50 or +100 stats on one side(if someone got 3 buffs you can always wait 2 more mins yep?)
Many guilds did GvGs, mostly in EU. We tried to do as many as possible with out roster changes so big thanks to our opponents.

Looking forward to EU “silver league”. Will be VERY interesting. And nope, I’m not talking about PPT

Well it’s easy, raid leader should be worried about his group and opponents position not about his hp level. Staff ele would melt in even not the best melee train very fast(after using MIST FORM!). OFC if he doesn’t have like 30 melees(just melees, there are still 30 other classes around!)

Thank’s for disengaging and attempting to lose the adds at north bay and not dancing/laughing after the fights. That’s behavior I havn’t seen since fighting Piken back in tier 3 a long time ago (cept for HoB and a few other ex piken guilds) Different class of guild, so thanks for tonight, hope to meet you again once our new guys have settled in a bit more.

I just would like to express my respect to ANET crew for bugs in every patch they realeased since the beggining of 2013!
Even if patch does not concerns WvW there is always problem to log-in, horrible lag issues, freezes, broken queue size. Just… how is it possible? I can understand lags during ruins realease patch for WvW but this one? What did go wrong this time?

I don’t know who’s farming who, but personally got +4k frags already…during 3 days of raids.
Don’t be so overconfident, everybody who’s playing in this match-up know how it looks like, GH can fight(PPT) only during prime time. Rest of the day people prefer to stay out of WvW mostly.

Props to WIC and lion for their performance yesterday. Yep, had to blob you inside Hills at the beggining since you had like 4x guild raids in there Don’t expect single guilds to run into you just because we prefer to run on our own in open field.
