I somehow still can’t figure it out. I apologize, but could you perhaps include a screenshot?
I recently searched on Google to see if Guild Wars 2 had some sort of notification system, so you’d get an alert whenever a friend logs on and off and I found this thread:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/friend-login-logoff-alert
However, I can’t seem to find the setting they are talking about in the thread above. Does this feature still exist or has it been removed?
Thanks in advance.
Friendly bump. You are welcome to share this thread amongst your slavic friends if you know any.
Name: Slavic Supreme Legion.
Created: 30/03/2015
Main Server: Piken Square.
Website: Currently no website.
Communication: Currently only in GW2.
Current Recruiters:
– Xyophos (DixieCrafting.5017)
Basic Information: Welcome brothers!
This new guild is specifically created for all slavic people on Guild Wars 2! Whether you’re from Russia, Poland, Serbia, Ukraine or other countries doesn’t matter. As long as you’re slavic (and some other things which you can find below in the requirements section!) you’re welcome in this guild. We do not require proof at the moment that you’re slavic because we trust the community in Guild Wars 2, but we might do so in the future. There are a few rules that must be kept in order to create balance in our guild:
1. One squat a day keeps the non-slavs away!
2. If you are offline for more than 6 months then you will be kicked out of this guild.
3. Do not flame each other. If you do it will result in a warning and two warnings is enough to get you kicked out of this guild.
4. Arguing is okay, but do not heat things up and turn it into a flame war.
5. Expressing your hate towards a member because of nationality, sex, opinion(s) or similar is not acceptable. We expect maturity amongst our members.
If these rules are followed everyone will be happy and the overall quality of your life and well-being will improve.
You’re not required to speak any slavic language as long as you’re from a slavic origin.
Ranks (highest to lowest):
– Bojni Vojvoda
– General
– Narednik
– Podnarednik
– Kaplar
– Redov
Permissions can be found in-game!
Requirements:
– 13+ years old.
– Slavic origin.
– Mature.
– At least one character that is level 20+.
The Plan: The point of this guild is to unite all slavic players and create a respectful, desirable, powerful, fun and mature guild. We want to create a community where everyone can be themselves and everyone can enjoy each other’s company. If you want to help with this then go ahead and join!
Note: This thread will be updated when needed so feel free to subscribe. Also, if there aren’t any recruiters online then you can either send them a message here or a mail in-game.

Seems pretty obvious.
I don’t know why I haven’t thought of this before but oh well.
Thanks to everyone who answered.
That’s a shame. I was looking forward to some kind of easter event.
Hello there.
Let me start off by saying that I have legitimately bought Guild Wars 2. Or actually… I didn’t really buy it, I won a contest ArenaNet held last year. A contest where you had to say an oath but put some of your own words in and so on. I am even on their oath compilation video. But anyway, I am telling you this because I do not want you to misunderstand the following question:
Why are there no cracks for ArenaNet?
Before you freak out, I want you to know that I do not seek this knowledge because I am looking for a way to make a crack or anything similar, but rather because the security amazes me. A lot of AAA games have cracks for them, so why doesn’t Guild Wars 2? I have been wondering about how Guild Wars 2 prevents hackers/crackers/whatever you call them from cracking their game.
If you happen to know anything I would be happy if you could reply to this thread.
Thanks for reading.
What a shame that there’s no chat API.
Thank you for the links, especially the GW2.NET library, I think I’ll use that.
I know how you feel.
I won Guild Wars 2 through a contest, and I’ve been jabbing about it for several months before I got it. When I finally got it, I was excited, but I found myself bored after a while. I guess I’m not the MMO type, but more the solo RPG type. Anyway, I was lucky enough to join a nice guild who offered me a LOT of gold even though I was a beginner. They’re really nice and I felt like a scumbag leaving them behind, so I started playing GW2 and since then I’ve been playing it on and off. After my exams, I intend to go kitten this game.
What I’m trying to say is that you need to get the “right” introduction to the game. I was lucky that I joined such a cool guild, but it seems that you weren’t as lucky. You should go find some mates on GW2 and make them show you the true spirit of GW2.
Make them show you all the fun puzzles, boss battles and the wonderful enviroments.
You said that you weren’t the graphics type of person, but more the story type. In that case, there’s nothing to do really. If you don’t like the story, you just don’t. You can’t change that. You claim that there isn’t a lot of lore in GW2, but I’ve heard others say the exact opposite thing. Just try to get into a nice guild and then tell us what you think about GW2. (Or ask them to tell you a bit more about the lore in GW2)
Hello.
As the title states, I’d like to use the API, but I honestly have no idea how.
I program in C# and C++, but I rarely use APIs and when I do, they always have a nice guide on how to use their API. I don’t know if I missed the guide (excuse me if I did), but could you please link me to it if there is one?
I intend to create a chat application that will let you communicate with your friends from Guild Wars 2 outside Guild Wars 2. If there already is an application that can do this, then please link me to it. Even if there IS an application that can accomplish this task, I’d still like to get a link to a guide that can show me how to use the GW2 API.
I apologize if this question has been answered a lot.
Thanks in advance.
Piken Square’s in pretty good shape I think – at least a large part of my guild ‘lives’ there
Great.
Thanks for all the help.
I’m thinking of playing in Piken’s Square or maybe Blacktide but blacktide is pretty low on the leaderboards, so i don’t know how active they are in WvW.
….
Thanks for your answer, it is definitely helpful.
I once tried Guild Wars 2, i thought it was a demo/trial but it was apparently some kind of free weekend.
Oh, do you know a server with a nice community in EU?
A friend of mine has a PC and a Mac Book Pro with the exact chip you just mentioned and he’s telling me that it’s running smoothly enough.
He said that it’s a lot better on his PC but it’s fine on Mac as well.
But is there any difference at all, content-wise?
I’ve read a bit and found out that the only difference between the servers are the WvW matches. Is that correct?
Also, another question, i just got Guild Wars 2, but is there any place that i can confirm that i actually redeemed my key and not just playing the demo?
I’m new.
I just got Guild Wars 2 but i do not know how to pick a server. (Not that i literally don’t know how to click a few buttons, but how to choose)
What are the differences from server to server? (I know language can be a difference but i’m thinking; Are there any pros or cons or are all the servers the same, when speaking of game-content. Not community and language.)
How will i choose a server? What defines a good server?
Thanks in advance.
