All for alliances during off times when two lower servers are outmanned. During prime time should be fairgame because numbers are even.

Did not touch your towers as tempting as it was, had a game plan to take sos keep which would of worked much better on you guys considering ur spawn is like a funnel… tried it on sos anyway =P. Great fights all around!

I want to give a shout out to our scouts, and heros manning trebs last night. It can be boring, but way to take one for the team, your actions are noticed and appreciated.

Individual Ranks

If and when these arrive I wanna know whos leading in our matchup, I wanna know their name, I wanna know what they look like, and I want more wxp for killing them.

There should be all time ranks, and server reset ranks I want a bounty on my head too if I can get high enough in the ranks. =)

Lol, I hear ya I got a fulltime and parttime, but lately its been for pve stuff =S wvwvw just slowed down not sure what it was. Maybe this can give me a reason to be in wvwvw more often to see how this experiment goes.

Last thing I would like to add is lets expect this to fail right off the bat so no one gets their panties in a bundle and has any expectations. OH very important this is a weekday thing I think both CD and SBI field descent numbers on the weekend even Friday so all is fair game in my eyes on the weekend.

I can say so for myself I can’t speak for my server, but those usually following me at that time of the night are pretty good. Hopefully SOS will want this too as opposed to PVDing us to death.

I think DoggyPaddle’s suggestion is worded reasonably. He will not seek confrontation with CD or go into that part of the map. He will still kill CD players if he sees them, but he won’t make an effort to do so. If a few commanders did this – if would not stop the fighting but would at least limit it.

Sorry if my writing is a little confusing. I WILL seek confrontation with everyone on the map I AM looking for fights and to kill people. Your towers will be spared is what I meant by I will not “come to your side of the map”. You will see me on your side of the map as often as possible when I see orange swords over there. I will NOT engage you when you are seiging or taking an SOS objective.

I am gonna propose that after 11:00 EST that CD and SBI have a truce… I will take it even further to say I will not take CDs towers and will concentrate on taking what I can of SOS. I will stay on my side of the map, unless its to come help wipe the sos zerg seiging your towers. You guys concentrate on Klovan we will concentrate on WC.

Lets make 11pm EST onwards interesting as opposed to just waiting for our stuff to be taken. Before everyone starts harping that some people wont know about the truce and it will be very difficult to do or organize… I will lead by example, if and when I am leading take note CD.

By no means does this mean I will not engage you guys if I see your zerg I still need my loot, and you guys need yours if you wipe us kudos to you guys. I will not engage your zerg if you are seiging SOS, hopefully we can seige them together.

To any SOS who doesnt like this voice up, but those voicing up are those who prefer PvD and I really dont care about your opinion no offence.

At the end of the day this is just a suggestion so do whatever the kitten you wanna do.

Take a camp and sit there people will come, if not the whole zerg.

You play 6 hours a day and still level 13? Are you AFK for the first 5 1/2 hours? 6 Hours in a week and you should be more than that level since they introduced the new wvwvw ranks.

Lol, im probably on my 15th run no jetpack… all good bc if and when I do get a jet pack gonna stroll around looking decked out. That being said gonna be hella jealous when I dont get one. IF everyone got one just bc they tried hard enough then these jet packs would be all over the place… RNG… love hate relationship depending on if its in your favour or against.

I love it if your refering to the celestial gear with all stats you get a descent amount of everything couple that with divinity runes your sailing. I also run the sigil of perception along with master maintenance oil + butternut squash soup to get my precision up. I am running an AH build with knights gear.

4 Level 80 rares to get colossus, they were not all the exact same which ever were the cheapest rares those were the ones I bought and used. I was one of the lucky ones who got it early on.. was only the second day of mystic forge gambling. =)

If the seige is placed by where you get supply, it might be someone trying to get the supply used title or achievement at any cost even if it hurts the server.

Got my Colossus two days ago, believe it or not about the 6th or 7th try… thought it was going to be a few month process gambling with the forge to get my precursor, but got it the second day of trying.

Right now just doing the 10 recipe for t6 mats, got about about 120 clovers, the extra clovers will just goto my next legendary, the t6 mats are definitely the roughest part in my case anyway.

Also obsidian shards aren’t bought from npc, there from orrian boxes, (make gold, get obsidian shards for more t6 mats, and get lodestones to sell or put towards legendary… thats a win-win-win)

Best thing you can do is follow a good one and imitate find out good seige placement then immitate.

Zerg fights will happen regardless, but this requires people to create a zerg instead of it automatically happening from everyone on the map gravitating towards the blue hat.

Or maybe just for those within close enough vicinity to the commander.

I wonder if this would help with the zerginess that people complain about, but im sure this poses problems as well… What do you guys think?

I think 99.9% of wvwvwer’s were expecting something completely different.. like personal ranks.. maybe even how well your guild as a whole was doing incomparison to other guilds.. ^ agree with all of the above.

The better golfer can be beaten by a worse golfer even if that better golfer has less strokes. How? it’s called ‘Handicap’. Likewise, servers should have handicaps that allow any server to play any other server with the winner determined by both performance that week and handicap.

That’s actually the best idea I’ve seen so far, and it might actually be capable of making viable server vs server vs server matchups. A total points handicap could be assigned at the beginning of the week for each server. If the handicaps were accurate, each server would have a more or less equal chance to win the match as long as they put in a more or less consistent effort each week. And here’s the really cool part … there would also be more movement from tier to tier (more variety of opponents) without the jeopardy of blowouts. A points handicap actually facilitates both fairness and freshness. The truly interesting thing is that it probably would be the easiest change to implement as well. At the very least it seems like it deserves a try.

The only problem now is that since I didn’t think of it I may have to conclude that you are smarter than I am.

Winning in points only sets you up to get matched up against an even tougher server which stomps you even more than the last.

How do you keep it fun for ALL servers.. the top servers are getting bored of seeing eachother day in day out, bottom servers have nothing to look forward to because they get stomped all the time…

I recently posted that we should have a round robin system where you face every server for 3 weeks, but quickly deleted the post because it really only solves one problem which is seeing fresh blood.

Maybe, a round robin system within tiers, right now you face the same two servers which seems like forever… to keep the game interesting and fair possbily increase the tier size… (top 6, next 6, and bottom 6)

First 3 weeks of round robin and from the score over those 3 weeks, 1 week of playoffs with the top 3 servers facing off and the bottom 3 servers playing within their respective tiers.

This inturn will give new life to wvwvw every month even weekly depending on the match-up. Anet wants us to take pride in our server and fight for our server… me personally looking at the glinko ratings doesnt give me that sense of feeling… you want us to take pride in our server? Then reward us as a server… With this new layout this allows for rewards on a montly basis and motivates people each month to do better… ideas as a reward? During playoff week 5, 3, 1(just an example) laurels for each server depending on how they do against their opposing servers.

Hehe was one of the best night in WvW. I’m very proud of HARD, and the fact we stole Garri right from under DH and DR noses ! Keep it IoJ!!

To be honest you didn’t “steal” anything, I “LET” you have it since I called to my team to not engage IoJ at the back door & let IoJ in to start fighting the Lord. My two groups were already heavily engaged with DH and I wanted to bug out at the same time that the back door went down to have DH & IoJ fight in the Lords room. Unfortunately DH wanted us sooooooo bad that they continued to fight us as we attacked in a different direction up the stairs and away from the Lords room. Go figure, guess they wanted payback for all the times at the tower that didn’t go their way. Anyway, very fun fights.

Wow, this is the problem when you think your better than everyone else and im not saying all, but some guild members from this group really have kittenty attitudes. Nothing wrong with taking pride, even showing off is fine, but kitteny statements ^ is just unnecessary. IF you’re that great transfer to a lower tier and bring them up… When you use words like “I” you discredit your teammates.

This is coming from one of your fans who enjoy all of oozo’s videos. I apologize to those in this group who are great at skirmishing and this is not directed to any of those great players, just the few that need an attitude adjustment.

Some great fights last night with kitten Elementalist was hella frustrating.. once we got our fourth to complete our group things started turning around for us. Funny how one person can change the group composition completely and exponentially make that much of a difference.

Unfortunately, no footage from last night, but some footage over the last few weeks I did manage to get enjoy!

First. I offer you a bottle of YOLO and welcome to our world. Every single match Mag is in now is already predetermined in terms of #1 and usually 2 and 3 but so what? It doesn’t mean no one is allowed * gasp * try.

You can play your way but everyone else will discuss the battles and tactics regardless of final ranks.

Why this upsets you that someone points out that the games World vs World ranking system is nothing more then a ranking based on Population I don’t know..

I thought this was well known by now.

Nobody has denied that rankings is population, the overall outcome is determined by population and that’s why maguuma is winning. Killjoy was never talking about the whole matchup, merely a snippet where she and four others took the east side of SBI bl without resistance whilst SBI had 10-15 players punching at SW tower, she is merely confused as to why the SBI players concerned chose SW tower over the east side of the bl is all. As a side note I think you also misunderstood the /laugh point, from what I read it’s more the confusion that the SBI defenders when eventually reacting on inner garrison /laugh’d at the maguuman invaders, an act of superiority over them. But the defenders had just lost their whole east side to those 5 who they /laugh’d at, showing a complete lack of superiority. I take the original post as a little bit of a lesson to check for ninja with a chest thumping agenda, but you know all about ninjas though right? (loved those videos friendopal)

But I was also confused by our response. I logged on in the middle of that and we only had 2-3 of us on TS that were responding to the ninja. The rest were pugs with tunnel vision on that tower I guess. Calls for defense were ignored. And we were slow to get eyes on where and how many there were.

We may have had more ppl on the map but we had very few ppl paying attention and trying to defend. It shouldn’t happen but it does.

I didn’t notice the emotes….didn’t come from those that were on TS I think….but that happens too. You can’t apply the attitude from some to a whole server. I certainly didn’t feel “superior” at that moment. But was relieved we finally responded enough to stop the ninja at Garrison at least. =/
