I thought I was going crazy too. It only effects the preview window. Definitively a bug.
Dyed my outfit bright red and the preview is still the muddy brown of the dye remover.
I concur, have been using Chocolate Omnomberry Creams and they show no increased magic find when under boons, yet Omnomberry bars do. It’s not like I am missing the boon window either as I have boon duration runes fitted for prolonged might etc.
Have just attempted path 2 after the change and found it very hard indeed. We were a semi co-ordinated group but the oozes at the ghost eater just didn’t seem too connect to charge the traps. The red circles seemed to also be excessive whereby they would chain together and be impossible to evade. Would I run it again? Probably not at the moment.
