What about also adding icons to show a certain mastery you have attained? Be it full ram, cats, trash, etc. Would certainly help walls fall faster and bags drop more frequently if manned by a specialist.

They did do this for weapons in gw1 and made most of the top entries in-game. Would love to see this come back for GW2.

Is this the end of wintersday, Halloween and possibly an annual dragon bash? Even if/when L.A. is rebuilt will they even want to celebrate where so many have died? Or possibly show the unwavering resilience that this city has? Either way it seems these holidays will have to be redesigned. Unless scarlet’s ultimate plan is to harvest the energy under L.A. to travel back in time and set things right by unseeing the eternal alchemy.

These aetherblade champions go down super fast during my play and as soon as one went down another immediately as spawns. I was getting easily 6 to 10 bags from them alone. Sadly I saw this champ farming become a trend real fast. And that is major factor in failure.

Example: LIADRI’S SCARS (Necromancer elite):

Scar the earth with multiple marks radiating out from casters location. Marks closest to caster cause fear (2s), torment (3 stacks 5s), and vulnerability (10 stacks 8s) when triggered. Marks further from caster cause poison (5s), bleeding (5 stacks 10s) and weakness (5s). Marks furthest from caster cause blind(8s), immobilized (3s) and crippled (10s).
Cooldown: 120s
Damage: 400 (level 80)
Mark Radius: 180

Traits effected:

Spiteful marks: 10% more damage
Greater marks: radius increased to 240
Soul marks: 3 % life force from marks when triggered.

If placed correctly you may be OP.

So I was dueling deadeye with my fear build and kept dying. The winning match I decided to pop into lich form and just spam 1. Won so quickly that I blamed luck. How can I possibly get the hardest hitting lich form to possibly try a 5 gambit run (haven’t tried them yet) and maybe farm? Suggestions appreciated.

It seems possible but only works when 99 of your guild members have it equipped in the same instance and all are representing. Not an easy feat for most guilds.

So I did some testing with the grawl ritual totem consumable and the skill fact says 4 second AOE fear when In melee range. I had exactly 100 % extra fear duration (50 from trait, 20 from necro runes, and 30 from spite) and terror only hit 6 seconds. This means that either the skill fact is wrong or I somehow am not getting 100% bonus fear duration. No big deal since the item had a 120 second added some time ago which makes it an emergency escape in pve at best.

Well the skull fear is a four second fear according to the skill fact. Will that be extended to 8 seconds? Gonna test if no one knows.

I was wondering how I can get the longest fear duration currently possible mainly to get the most out of terror? I know the trait for 50% duration is a must but what gear/runes/sigils/food will help the most?
I also was wondering if anything increases terror damage? (Power/might/vulnerabity)

It works on minions. Tested but fury is kinda lost on them.

I always thought the 4th bonus only applied to the nearby allies and not self. Am I wrong? How about minions?

Now you guys can draw your own conclusions, my take is that drops are only [/b]MARGINALLY BETTER due in my opinion to the speed of kills while in armor and not the percentage of MF one has, if it does help it’s only MINIMAL[b]. They need to reword the MF percentages to be, as an example, Omnomberry Bars should read .30% MF. You be the judge.

Interesting, can you try once with only regular gear, no magic find, not naked? Also how has your exotic drop rate been before and after getting full magic find gear since launch? Thanks.

Ok guys. I’ll attempt the math when I get a chance to see if i should even try but first I have some questions. Which race and class should I attempt this out of ele, engi, or warrior? Also is it possible to get all skill points without killing any mobs and just being close when they are defeated. Still stuck at work:-(

I’m not saying you would have to solo it. But just achieve gift of explorer. Avoiding most xp gains is besides the needed hearts, vistas, areas, skill points and poi’s. Might be possible.

It would be nice to have all necros on blackgate but no more free transfers kinda kills it. But I’ll be on the lookout for more blackgate necros to recruit for our wvw horde. We might be more demanded for taking out supervisors as dark fields are the only way to damage them(life steal projectile finisher) when they have Righteous Indignation. If you’d like to add me we can work on capping some camps sometime. Just 3 more needed for some hoarde action! I was riding hot on the reset yesterday and it was a blast when TS is involved and coordination with a good leader is involved. Although the culling and lag depresses me after a bit. A small 5 man+ would be better against this I think.

All necro guild missions are coming…eventually. Anticipation towards participation and coordination is warranted. Group up and HOARD OUT!

I think I can consider myself somewhere between a reaper/still dead and a shrouder/dead again. I know a bunch about both aspects of those parts of the game, but I wouldn’t consider myself an expert in either part.

Not to say I’m no good. My necro can face-tank a good portion of the game.

We did a dungeon run last night(I was Floyd Hunter). 5-man necro team is so op haha loved it! went soo well! We did HotW path 1 and CoE sub path, only managed to stream the first one though and apparently only got the boss fight at the end >.> which is weird since I started streaming at the start.

Only rule is play a necro, and not spend the day complaining about them haha. We have 30s 40s all the way to 80 in the guild. It’s not a guild s much as a place to seek answers for necro questions outside of the forums. I have had the privilege of showing a few minion haters that they can be effective. So message any of us in game, and we would be glad to invite.
