Guild Wars 2

I need to figure what’s going on. Since the last update my game freezes from time to time. I’m just playing normally when all of a sudden the audio goes away and the game stops responding to any input i make unless it’s clicking at which point it goes back to normal. I may not be that serious but it is extremely annoying. Playing and then not being able to move or control your toon.

Could it be the graphics card? I’m playing on a laptop that has a Geforce 820m and and a Core i7 processor.

I don’t know about you, but when we got to visit that area as part of the living story i had one of the best times inside this game. That festival was quite something. The mechanics, the environment, the music, events and mini games. Simply one of my favorite, if not THE favorite one, of this game.

I was wondering…¿is there any chance we could go back and visit it again? I know a lot has happened with the living story. Some things will never be the same. Yet, i believe this area deserves more recognition and light so that we all may be able to enjoy it. Think about it this way, a little escape from the rest of the game world for a little while…unlike Southsun Cove (not a place i would visit to relax).

¿What do you guys/gals think? It would be awesome if some dev caught a glimpse of thise post.

This would be my first day waiting. I bought the ultimate pack yesterday. Still not worried but i would really love to have those gems now…so i could buy some stuff from the TC.

Hello, it has come to my in game mail a weird message that says my account will be shut down or limited in the next 72 hours. I’ve read about this issue (phishing) in the corresponding thread yet i would like to confirm my suspicions. I’ll add a screen caption of the mail. Please, someone help clear this doubt from me…this game means a lot to me and i have some fond memories with it and my account of course. Thank you for your time.

Hello Anet team and fellow guild wars 2 players. First of I want to start by saying how much I appreciate all your hard work. Specially these monthly updates, the living story really seems to be paying off. Now with dragon bash comes this question to mind, will this model keep going on for a while or is will it become a staple in the game evolution? Keep it up, I’m really looking forward for what you will bring to this community in the future. Expansions or permanent content maybe :P.

Just finished a part of my story where i get reunited with my “father” who was a flame legion shaman. He redeemed himself. So I was wondering…do you think the flame legion could redeem itself to the other three legions of the Black Citadel? Certainly it would be great having their wisdom of magic, even though i understand their tough history about controling the others and their “religion”.

Hi guys. Hope it’s not too late to be asking for help with this, with the mayan apocalypse upon us xD. Ok enough jokes…the thing is i’m a relatively new player(noob), only reached level 25 with my first character today after 5 days of starting playing, i also found an awesome guild full of really nice people.

They have helped me getting good stuff. The thing is…i feel a bit useless right now, for them at leasts, even though they say we take care of each other. I want to contribute. So i’m trying to level my crafting skills. Here the question: ¿ The more stuff i craft and discover the better? Do i get to create more powerful gear at this rate? What about recipes?

Does equipment affect a lot in this game?

It will matter at the end. Not so much on your way up to 80 so my suggestion is don’t spend any coin on gear. Do your story and use the rewards, use the loot drops you get and you will be fine.

Once you reach level 80 revisit your skills and read up on the gear that will benefit your build plus the runes that you need and go out and get them.

Yes senpai, i will. In other words i just can relax, enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Tyria, getting stronger and meeting some nice other players. No stress for me then, no sir. Just enjoy the game at my own pace and later when i’m at full strenght i’ll worry about the gear.

Interesting…so all i need is to find a gate in the black citadel that can get me to lion’s arch? I must have missed it, gotta explore my city a bit more XD. Thank you all for the useful info. Best wishes

I can not lie…i just loved their look. Then i just read their story, about their culture and i just fell in love. I admit i don’t know anything about the events in GW1, but that won’t stop me to enjoy this game and of course using a Charr. I plan on playing the other races of course…once i get the hang of this game.
On the other hand i just felt this impulse to start playing as a Charr. Come on! The industrial revolution is just a blast, my favorite historical event(concerning our world of course) and their motto “With the roar of engines and the thunder of our guns we will control the land” (not sure if that was it word for word). The similarities between them and the Roman empire in a steampunk environment is quite a culture mix.

Last but not least…i believe Charr are cute for the most part. Would love to shake hands with one of them :P

Just what i was looking for. This is my first mmo and i always heard from my gamer friends talking about WoW and other games of this genre. I was really interested in crafting…but i really have no idea if this is really important or how much time i should invest in this…maybe i should check the menus a little more.

Thing is….do i need to craft or buy at a store in order to get good equipment and items?

This will be the first event i could join, so i was wondering about the requirements. Do i have to be in a specific area? Do i need to be a certain level?
This really is bothering me…so much i can’t sleep thinking “man i don’t want to lose those presents”.
I only have been able to go on the fields near the Black Citadel, so if I have to travel a long way i would give it a try…no matter the complications.

You guys, really i love this. I was not wrong when i chose this game over WoW. I haven’t had much time to play today but i already met someone on the plains near the Black Citadel( yeah i’m a Charr, tremble XD) and it’s been really nice. He saved my butt.
I admit i feel a bit overwhelmed with all the catalogue of equipment i could buy and also the great variety of materials, items and of course crafting recipes.

Do not fear for me, cause all your advise has been so helpful. I’ll burn it into my mind XD. I don’t remember the name of my server right, it’s got something to do with Bay…i’ll post it later. It’s so amusing, living in this world so to speak

Does equipment affect a lot in this game?

Well I just started playing, but I have been looking at this game professions for quite some time and truth to be told they all seem pretty awesome to me. There’s no need for you to block yourself. You have enjoy every aspect of the game as possible, and find whatever suits you the best. Follow your Charr heart XD. I personally chose Engineer just because this is my first MMORPG so I wanted to start with a profession I found unique to this genre. Of course I will try the other professions and classes in time.

Makes me wonder when games like in the anime dot hack or Sword Art online will become real.

By the way, is the server I choose a really big issue? Cause I read it was highly populated and stuff, so there should be plenty players…

What’s up guys? I’m so thrilled for joining the GW2 community. Just now I bought the game not caring about the rain or wind on my way. It was totally worth it. So the thing is this is my first MMORPG so I’m on strange tides so to speak. Anyways I know I will get the hang of it. Just wanted to introduce myself personally and maybe get some tips about partying and stuff. Thanks in advance :P
