Personally, I feel like a DPS meter goes against the spirit of this game. I can understand your desire for one. But it’s just not what the game is about.
I would have no objections to a strictly personal meter. Self improvement is always good, but once others have the ability to see or demand to see your numbers, then it becomes a whole different game.
Very informative topic. I was wondering what you wanted to buy.
Umm.. The whole point is you are supposed to buy gems with real money and support the game. You’re lucky they let you buy gems with gold.
Not even bald….
Real question is, why are you still playing then? Seems like you’re better off playing a game you like instead of complaining about one you don’t. A lot of us like it the way it is.
I put $200 into a slot machine…didn’t win anything!
Funny enough, I work at a casino and people really do have this attitude. “I have been playing this machine all day and it still hasn’t paid out!”
I think it’s human nature to think if we commit to something it will work out. Unfortunately gambling is the opposite to that theory.
Then you don’t have to! Thats the beauty of free will.
Why does everyone act like you have to get one of these skins? I managed to get 3 myself in about 20 chests but that was my choice. I could have easily said “Pass” and moved on.
Also, how does no one seem to know to put the dollar sign before the number? It’s $50 not 50$. Should be basic knowledge.
Well, one thing this game has waaay to many variables with build to flat out say X class is stronger than Y class. You just can’t do that, because one Ele could have more HP than your Warrior which throws the whole dynamic off of what you would expect a “clothie” to have over a "tank"ish class.
I would gladly double the cooldown if they would last through an entire fight and not just a single mob.
Personally I dont like using Moa.
Seems to be plenty of crying in this forum…
Ya, but his point was no one is watching :-p.
It is kinda depressing, I only PvE right now but my Mesmer is so much more fun than my Ranger. But my Ranger is soooo much easier. It’s like he can just destroy everything with almost no effort.
But my Mesmer i have to dodge and warp around kiting and avoiding dmg like a crazy person just to survive! It’s fun, but obvious to tell Rangers have a bit of an advantage as making a couple mistakes is far more costly on a Mesmer with no real reward for that greater challenge.
It’s funny cause I was just thinking about how Chaos Storm is so slow to recharge I either forget about it or barely use it.
It’s hardly a skill worth relying on since its such a slow recharge. Buuut I guess it was OP some how?!
Rangers could have their pets play fetch!
Can’t agree more. One of the reasons i’m kinda leaning away from my Mesmer for now. Especially using staff where two out of five skills relies on an illusion and 1 of the remaining 3 is close range. So in a normal event at range I mostly just get to spam winds of chaos because theres little point in sending clones out for one target whos dead in 3 seconds anways.
I would love to see some fluff skills added. Mostly class specific but racial fluff could be fun too.
For example, a Mesmer fluff skill to create my 3 clones and have them all dance in sync with me. Or perhaps just the ability to create the clones out of combat and get to run around as 4 of myself? oh yes a skill to copy the appearance of your target for a short while would be fun.
Obviously I play a Mesmer so those are what I thought of! But the possiblities are endless and would be a lot of fun to have something unique to your class outside of combat.
